- How to Upgrade Windows 10 32-Bit to 64-Bit - Simple and Easy [Solution]
Windows 10 can run on both 32-bit and 64-bit processor architectures. If you have a desktop or laptop running the 32-bit version, you can upgrade to the 64-bit version without acquiring a new license. The only caveat is that there is no in-place upgrade path to make the switch, making a clean installation of Windows 10 the only viable option.
Although either version delivers the same features, when you upgrade to the 64-bit (x64) version, the device will be able to take advantage of large amounts of memory (up to 2TB), instead of 4GB limitation with 32-bit (x86).
The ability to access more memory allows you to run more apps simultaneously without impacting the experience, and you can run a mix of both 64-bit and 32-bit programs. Also, and perhaps more importantly, it'll help you to improve productivity on memory-intensive tasks. For example, when rendering videos, working with virtual machines, and opening many tabs on your web browser.

Microsoft gives you the 32-bit version of Windows 10 if you upgrade from the 32-bit version of Windows 7 or 8.1. But you can switch to the 64-bit version, assuming your hardware supports it.

When you mean boot from the dvd or ISO file, do you mean like restart my computer, open a boot menu and it’ll be there as a CD-Rom drive or something?
instead of clicking iso click usb, make sure you have a usb to use (8gb plus) and plug it in, it should show up. after you flash windows 10 to the usb reboot your pc and go to your boot menu in your bios. go down to your usb and select it, this should work

I have an issue. I get super far in. But once I've booted in the flash drive and I click install, it installs but then right at the end it goes black and I get a blinking white underscore in the top left, then it continues to blink before putting me back at the install button
That means there was a problem during installation.... either remove USB or boot back to windows
I'll use 7zip and extract it, and it works mate

This is rather pointless. After this you end up with a fresh Windows installation, without retaining any settings, programs or files from the original system. You literally have to reinstall and reconfigure every program you had before, and copy your documents from the Windows.old folder.

Maybe ur device don't support 64 bit processor
Check your processor in settings. If it says "32-bit operation system, 64-bit processor" then your computer can handle 64 bits but your OS is on 32 bit. If it says "32-bit operation system, 86-bit processor: then it means that your computer's processor runs on 32-bit itself and you cannot install a 64-bit OS on it.

There's also a way to keep everything but your need to be technologically literate to do that
