I am a recovering addict. September 27th was 10 years clean and sober. I feel the pain of ALL the addicts and the bottom of the barrel and there’s no lower!! I am just glad I had a child and a baby daddy who cared enough to get me and convince me I am worth something and I am someone who is loved and cared about… I am sending my love higs and well being vibes to them all!!
She is right about one thing, forgiveness is for you, not the person who wronged you because if you don’t forgive, it will eat you up little by little.
She said the home invasion was "the right choice at the time." But then she said she had regrets. How do you actually regret something but say it was the right choice. She's a bad person trying to sound good.
Forgiving doesn’t mean reconciling! It’s letting go of the heavy burden so that you can walk lighter. It’s not giving anymore headspace or time processing it over and over.
I work in mental health and addiction and many clients that have had extensive therapy tend to tell stories in a really detached way if they haven't done the work... I hope she gets to a good place mentally
I know nothing about hard drugs life but as I listen to her, she has all the right answers and still makes repeated bad decisions. Everything is too neatly packaged. I think she is still using.
For those of you criticizing this woman, and focusing more on the riches she was claiming are really not listening to this woman’s heart wrenching story. Let’s remain focused on the courage and strength she has and the point of her story: to stay away from drugs. You guys are getting wrapped up in the extra . Lying or not (which I don’t think she is lying about anything) this woman has been through it, the least you could do is let her speak, be less critical and carry on either your day! I don’t understand the need to comment negatively, when she has already been through so much negativity. Wish her the best and carry on!!
It's like listening to a 10 yr old trying to prove what she's learned. She's emotionally stunted at 11 due to her mom getting high with her caused trauma.
It's because it makes you thin, then dry mouth rots your teeth until you lose them creating the sunken in mouth, women over pluck their eyebrows, and everyone picks at their face. Of course, it also ruins your skin and hair, which is also probably because youre not showering or eating well
Hold up...did this woman really just tell us that she prayed to god for a man who she could blow and when she found him she fell in love and married him? Good grief 😵💫

Not all people who were abused or neglected as a child wind up in this type of life. A lot of people use it as fuel to propel themselves out of the situation they are in.
edna repeatedly mentions the need to love yourself. trouble is, you can't love yourself if you feel like you haven't been loved. you have no frame of reference for love. which is why we need to be able to receive god's unconditional love.
Forgiveness is not a prerequisite for personal growth in this manner nor is it a requirement for you to step in the right direction for your own peace. Recognition however is. Understanding your victimization is. Do not mistake forgiveness for progress. You can evolve and leave those who hurt you behind you without lending them your forgiveness and your heart. Don’t set their minds at ease with your magnanimous nature. Let them fight their battle like you fought yours. Don’t seek revenge but don’t seek to heal them. Heal yourself.
Keep moving forward, Edna. You got this. It sounds like you take accountability. Maybe you can help others, which might help you too. Love that you love animals. Start your own grooming business. You can do it. Think outside the box. Maybe mobile grooming. Take it to them until you can afford your own office.
Has there been any recent contact with the Whitakers since the hurricane? So many small towns/villages have been wiped out, I'm concerned for their safety
Girl, it’s ok to seek help for your medical issues/addiction/ptsd! God blessed people with knowledge and medicine….. not seeking medical assistance is just absurd.
They just wanna get you on THEIR drugs, cold turkey and sweat is the best way to get off the shit. Pack a bag and get away from EVERYONE in your life and go through the fight alone. It’s how I did it.
I understand the Dr being a trigger . I was addicted not only to shooting up meth but the needle it's self was a whole separate addition for me . I'm a type 1 diabetic who has to take shots every single day its different though when you have the needle going through your vein it does trigger something that could make you vulnerable and make you want to use the needle again

She’s awesome, I wish her the best
I'm rooting for you, Edna!
edna repeatedly mentions the need to love yourself. trouble is, you can't love yourself if you feel like you haven't been loved. you have no frame of reference for love. which is why we need to be able to receive god's unconditional love.
Hey love your videos ❤ have you heard from the Whitakers? Pray they are safe! Just checking in from Glen Allen Va ❤
That’s right ma!!
The forgiveness is for us❤❤
Keep moving forward, Edna. You got this. It sounds like you take accountability. Maybe you can help others, which might help you too. Love that you love animals. Start your own grooming business. You can do it. Think outside the box. Maybe mobile grooming. Take it to them until you can afford your own office.
What a superstar. I adore her.
Best of luck to her. She is strong.
Did anyone do any fact checking. High rise. Bmw. Maserati
Trust funds an all😂
@@victorsweet583 lol!!!
😂
Has there been any recent contact with the Whitakers since the hurricane? So many small towns/villages have been wiped out, I'm concerned for their safety
A meth dealer named sleepy.😂😂😂
😂
Girl, it’s ok to seek help for your medical issues/addiction/ptsd! God blessed people with knowledge and medicine….. not seeking medical assistance is just absurd.
They just wanna get you on THEIR drugs, cold turkey and sweat is the best way to get off the shit. Pack a bag and get away from EVERYONE in your life and go through the fight alone. It’s how I did it.
Please tell me you have no kids !
8:15 let me just whip out my BS card right quick. "We had a Maserati, an Aston Martin, a BMW..."
No. No, you didn't.
This must be the "lost grip on reality" people are mentioning regarding meth?
Poor thing... She has that fresh out of treatment/jail/hospital thing going on. There's a zero percent chance of her staying clean without intensive care.
We have such similar experiences 😢❤
You can tell she’s an addict. I hope she’s ok and safe.
Too good to be true
When she said she was 40 I was begasped
Just say no.
