I wise ol southern lady once told me, “if you don’t raise your kids, you raise your grandkids.”
Now ain’t that the truth.
Never heard that but makes perfect sense. Best truth I've heard lately
@@tintinautonomous never heard that ever.
100%
Makes sense.
This is true, I believe
And if you don't raise _those_ grandkids, you raise your great grandkids. 😒
If your kids live with someone else, they’re not raised by you
This exactly. You're not a parent if your grandparents are raising your children.
Maybe that’s a good thing! They don’t appear to be good examples
Mark came in hot with the “poor grandparents”😂
🤣
3 kids each at 21..and their grandparents are PROUD.
This world is absolutely lost
Trust me, this isn’t the norm in the rest of the world.
Grandparents ain’t proud
She said they're disappointed
The grandparents are "proud" because they take money from these girls knowing they earned it by prostitution aka risking their lives every day. Must be amazing people.

Thats enough.
yeah your damaged individuals aren't in a place to make sound judgements, hence why they are in the predicaments they are in....
This is one of the only times that Mark seemed annoyed by their nonsense. And they aren’t even using.
“Huh”. They are using lol
I agree, I could see that too. Like he knows his viewers arent gonna buy their BS.

This is one of the few times I felt like Mark was judging his subjects. I think it's better to stay neutral.
@@inkedmomblu1510 I think he’s disappointed in them.
I feel like I just watched 2 7th grade bff's. The energy between them was full of that immature, giggly 13 year old girl vibe - talking over each other, backpedaling, saying one thing and then completely contradicting themselves...how sad. I hope whoever is raising their children does a better job than whoever raised these two.
It's sick
It's also mostly the world around you these days.
I know very good parents who did everything they could to raise their children well, the street took them, chewed them up and spit them out.
And this took a much shorter time, than all the years of parenting.
@paulusborg243 I can agree. I've seen the same. But I've also seen a "mediocre" family dynamic turn out wonderful children/adults.
According to these girls the same people who raised them are raising their children. The grandparents raised their granddaughters who each gv them 3 kids a piece to raise. Poor grandparents. The 1 on the left didn't say that . She did say she lived in a 2 story house. Alone. So
Unlikely The grandparents at least raised one of the parents

I agree even though I believe they lied about the majority of the interview so do believe the one part about the relative showing her the rope's, she more than likely trafficked her as a child. 😟
Such a good response.
Thank you for saying this. No child with a solid, safe, stable upbringing becomes a prostitute with their pimp's name tattooed across their neck.
Another proof that food on the table and good shoes dont make a good childhood
Mom = drugs

The part I cant work out is why would you want that life for your sister. Being bashed, raped and robbed on a weekly basis. Yet she claims to "love" the life. Then on top dealing with their pimps AKA security.
Let's see if we can get the grandparents side of the story, I think it would be VERY interesting to hear.

They definitely have pimps
The first minute, you can see Ginger mouthing the words to what Luscious is saying. It's so freaky. It seems like they scripted it
Omg that’s so true! Didn’t notice that until now
Always seems to start with, mom’s on drugs ,dad’s in prison. Every time.
And now you gotta ask yourself why that is. People don't become addicts and criminals for no reason. The US systematically reproduces these social structures, because there are people who benefit from that. Prisoners are used as free labor and prison owners don't want there to be less crime. Prison is their business. The state profits off the suffering and misery of these people and whether intentionally or not maintains these structures.

First thing I noticed is girl on left said they’re 20, got cut off so quick when girl on right said they’re 21 be fr
The judgment in here is WILD. You clicked on a video about two women who are sex workers. What did you expect? They're also super young, everyone had stupid opinions while they're young. I enjoy listening to the interviewees talking in these videos but Mark's leading questions, judgment, and just telling them how HE thinks it is, is getting OLD.
This is the only positive comment I've seen so far
you're just as ignorant as the two girls in the video, that is incredible
Hi there. I think you’re raising an interesting and fair point. My humble feeling is that, while I would agree that there is a fair share of straight judgemental - and not always sugar coated comments in here - there is many reasons to that. I wouldn’t presume to know or understand them all, but I believe that just the exponential growth & exposition of the channel these recent years to an ever bigger and diverse crowd has also brought different kind of public and opinions to it.
Also, the very nature of the life story shared in here, are naturally experiences and life styles that would bring a lot of personal thoughts, opinions and strong responses from viewers. A children macramé channel might not bring such hard felt feedback from its audience. So there’s always that.
As well, I would kindly remind you that your very comment is, per se, a judgemental comment. And so is mine. From there the quality is always debatable and its bases often obscure in human nature, perceptions and emotions. Just saying.
As for Mark’s comment in this one… I agree that Mark expressed a strong opinion and feeling by the end of it. A rare occurrence in my experience here. I have followed him and his channel since the first Witacker’s video or so, and frankly Mark has never been a judgemental host. To the contrary. You - at least I - wouldn’t believe at times the patience, tolerance for BS and empathy he’s demonstrated in all these years of work (in and out of the channel).
All that said, Mark is just another human being, with his own biases, morals, judgements, etc., and so aim I. but again, I believe he has always practiced a sane and prof. distance, pragmatism, and stayed measured in all the years and hundreds of interviews. My take.
And heck, well, it’s his channel. I feel he’s earned his stripes and it’s up to him to direct and nurture it the way he wants. But thank you for sharing that thought, I felt your comment touched on something, and was not entirely wrong, it does feel as there are more “spicy” and hard opinionated comments these days. And I had “stupid opinions “ too when younger, as you mentioned. Actually… I fear I might still do. o_O
I apologise Mark to speak of you this way, as if you were not in the room or in need of my support. I just felt the point was not void of merit and deserved to be challenged.
Aaaand I guess it was a good excuse for my old ego to speak his mind. Such social creatures in search of attention, recognition, approval and Love that we all are…
Thanks Mark for your work. Keep up the spirit.

This felt pretty judgmental, Mark - I don’t necessarily agree with the way these girls have decided to live their lives, but I thought you were interviewing, not judging. Not wanting to be their dad, making comments about the amount of children they have and the circumstances those kids are in etc… just felt different to how you usually (or used to) interview and interact with these people. Don’t let your difference of opinion colour your interviews, as it comes across as disrespect here for sure.
I was going to say the same thing I’ve seen so many of his interviews and this one he came off as being rude and judgmental even the girls were picking up on it
Thank you for saying this! I feel the same. The way Mark conducted this interview felt disrespectful and very much at odds with the spirit of this channel, at least what it used to be. It seems they like they were brought on to be laughed at.
@@madeleinereed7134 💯 I thought this channel was created to educate, and to encourage understanding, tolerance and acceptance of those in the “underbelly” of society, individuals with less socially acceptable lifestyles etc.
Pointing fingers, making critical or judgmental comments and shaming subjects for their poor choices/behaviour doesn’t seem to align with the channels supposed aim, nor does it align with unbiased interviewing, or with breaking down the stigma associated with the topics in these videos. Mark dropped the ball on this one, imo ☹️

Girl was ready to fight when he asked about her raising her own kids. I've seen this a lot with absent parents. My brother and sister's dad was that way. He was out in LA doing crack and sending, like, $5 toys to them for Christmas then would tell his family he was raising his kids and taught them everything, etc. Dude was 2,000 miles away. Hell, when he lived 3 miles away he still only saw those kids once a year. Certain lifestyles warp your idea of reality and make you think you're doing better than you really are. It's sad to see that in people so young.
We're fraternal twins because she's 2 minutes older... Good grief
They say they love what they do but emphatically don't want their children ever doing it. That is very revealing.
Because they love the fact that they are able to care for their children and own a house now. A lot of people don’t really love their jobs but what it has to offer them. Use common sense. Of course nobody wants their child in that line of work. It’s a last resort option.

But I have someone.... My kids are taking care of they have a phone.... our family likes what we do. Come on. ....Wake up
They lie so much the truth could slap them in the face and they wouldn’t know it.
They don’t even speak English . I don’t know what it is but it is broken, pigeon, Ebonics , what ever . They look way older than 21. Try 30.
But act 14. Train wreck !
I wish Mark could interview the grandparents.
Facts
And can’t subtract 16 from 21
Poor grandparents..... They have to be exhausted... They are the true angels here and the only ones who are actually raiding kids..
They look 21. I too am a natural redhead. Their skintone is phenomenal. Commenrers are mean.
Sad! Unfortunately, they had children. 😖
Calzone and Ginger are perfect definition of a train wreck
Oh my gosh! This comment🎉🎉🎉🎉
You did NOT! 😂😂😂
😂
These gotta be the ugliest 304s ever
Calzone ? 😭
The number of these videos that starts out with “I had a great childhood” followed up by “my mother was on drugs and my father was in prison” or some variation is insane.
What do they think a bad childhood is?
It’s so sad, they probably compare themselves to people they knew who had it worse without realizing what it’s like to actually have a good childhood. It’s strange how common it is in these videos
A bad childhood is one in which you're abused and/or neglected. Or one where you had nobody and grew up in the foster system being moved from home to home. Those people never say they had good childhoods. These girls had grandparents that were essentially their parents, and they say they were well cared for (didn't grow up in poverty or with no food available). That makes sense to me.
@@dorothy6361 they said a lot of things, then contradicted themselves.
@dorothy6361 both of them show signs of trauma and emotional neglect, random out bursts of anger, inability to see why being a absent parent I wrong, hyper sexual.. if this story about the grandparents is true (which I doubt) they did a terrible job raising them.
@@samjones527 Oh I'm not saying I believe a word of what they said; they were full of it. Just pointing out that having the bio parents absent doesn't necessarily automatically equal to a terrible childhood as OP suggested. Loving and supportive surrogate parents can provide a good upbringing.
This interview makes me tired and depressed. Sickened, actually. I just don't understand.
Comments are ruthless lol. I love how shocked they ar eby his questions.
2 people just enabling eachother.
Your older cousin should be locked up for child exploitation. Get out while you're young enough and have time. This isn't a joke as you both snigger at your situation. Time to grow up ladies.
Older cousin introducing her to selling her body to strangers at 16 years old is trafficking.
Their both liars i don’t buy it
What is there to buy? They said nothing really out of the norm.

She is proud of her child having an Iphone 15??? Really? 🤦🏽♀️ This is insane... Spend time with them, play with them... They don't need a stupid cellphone, come on!
Glad mark was able to pull these promising, up-and-coming entrepreneurs so they could let us in on their secrets to success
“I’m glad I’m not your dad”😂
He ain't never said that to anybody....
@@dennaecephus3447he literally said that in the interview
most open he been 😂
Worn completely out at 21 with 6 kids between them
This is the first time I have heard you genuinely shocked and lost for words
Poor girls needed more hugs. So traumatized. My heart goes out to them and I give the benefit of the doubt that they are 21 so the world revolves around them. But clueless and selfish to think their grandparents want to raise great grand babies. Maybe they’d prefer the kids are with them than these two but wow. Trauma and more trauma. ♥️
Fact: Whenever someone is asked a question and then says "huh", "what" or repeats the question, they're quickly thinking of a lie to tell!
Bingo!
Gets asked a question, who me? Thinking of a lie.
Well no, not all the time. Sometimes the person just genuinely didn't hear the question or comment. So they ask "huh", or "what" 🤷♀️
@@Cr33p_ChiLd Agreed. There's this odd trend going on around where we don't bother to understand complex and/or diverse situations anymore, we just simplify them down to the most common occurrence and make a blanket statement that covers all cases.
@@trent3872Exactly. Also shows low IQ
I think I lost a few braincells after watching these two
💯🤣
i’m just trying to figure out where she’s putting these ads for my bills to get paid lol
Giving your 4 year old kid an iPhone 15 is nothing to boast about
