hiiii! i am FINALLY monetized on youtube!!! i got 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watchtime SUPER FAST and i wanted to share with you guys how i did it! in this video i will be sharing how i got 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watchtime hours in ONLY TWO MONTHS, how much i am making on youtube, how RUclips MONETIZED ME IN ONLY 2 DAYS, and the process of getting monetized and how to sign up for monetization!! i will be answering any questions below! enjoy!

I have a channel that I’m hoping to get monetized soon, but everyone says I should apply for Google Adsense before, but there is no way I can. And if I don’t, that will slow down the monetization process. Do I need to wait for the Google Adsense pin letter in order to get monetized? I’m kinda confused. 🤦🏻♀️
Great question! I got 4,000 hours and 1,000 subs on June 3rd and I was approved for Adsense and monetized by June 5th. So for me it didn't slow down the process at all.
But to break it down, this is what I know from my experience. You need to have 1,000 subs and 4,000 watchtime hours to request to be apart of Google Adsense (I don't think you can request for Google Adsense before because an actual RUclips employee reviews your RUclips channel and will just deny you if you haven't met the 1,000 subs and 4,000 hours. But I guess you could try to sign up for Google Adsense before and just see what happens!)
Once you are monetized you start making money from ads on your videos. Once you get $10 you can request for a pin in Adsense. The pin will come in the mail a week later and you just have to enter that into Adsense. (I made a video about the pin here: ruclips.net/video/L6YAUA2aTL0/видео.html)
Then when you make $100 you can finally get a direct deposit into your bank account (there is also a process for this but I haven't done it yet).

Great video. Had to smile. It seems we met the threshold for monetisation on the same day, Wednesday, and got the approval on the same day, last Friday. Congratulations! You’re absolutely right. Everyone focuses on the 1,000 subscribers. But it is the 4,000 watch hours that is the really tough target. Anyway, good luck with the channel. It looks great.

I got monetized earlier in March. Just curious, to what extent is the "Estimated revenue" figure in your Analytics tab reflective of how much actually gets deposited into your bank account on the on the 21st of the following month?
I think it’s pretty accurate from what is estimated and what actually gets deposited.
@@EleanorJosefina Do you get paid on the 21st or does it take longer to clear the funds in your bank account?
I get paid on the 21st unless it falls on the weekend. Then I get paid the Monday after the 21st
