I am literally stuck at the moment at the ''Step 2'' for more than 48 hours and I was also feeling something is not right. This is so frustrating. So I just filled out the US tax form ( I am based in Germany and thought I do not have to do that :-D ). Can you tell me if you passed already the Step 2? However, in my situation, 4th of July - l Applied for the programme, 7th of July discovered that this Tax form is not completed (also cause I am not in the US, I am in UK) I filled it at the same night, 10th of July I received an email that they could not associate AdSense with RUclips (and basic stuff about 2nd account I don't have) I got error with the step 2 (instead of processing it was just "there is an error with your AdSense account, to fix it "press ok" and it brought me back to AdSense page where I just agreed with the terms and the Step 2 became "in Progress" again)
I just got my 4K hours a couple of days ago! A video and 3 supporting shorts I published last week took me over the edge big time. I thought it would be another 6 more months before I would get monetized....moreover, it was also hanging over me about the rolling 365 days of watch hours, knowing that I am "losing" hours as the days past or simply maintaining hours. Needless to say, it is a big relief, and like you said in your video, it took a lot longer than I thought. Nonetheless, what a journey and I've learned so much. Great to hear of your experience as well and thanks for making this video! Liked and subbed!

Focusing on something made me feel calm and healing. I’m still struggling pricing and making products(digital files) but I hope things will work out. Thank you for sharing your video.

Congrats!!! Compared to 1 month it took me 2 days which I was very shocked at. RUclips said I will only get the pin stuff after I reach the first threshold of $100. So its pretty confusing, even Ad sense hasn't asked me to verify my identity or link my bank; the tab is blank for me, but I have done the tax stuff already.Ive been waiting to see the amounts go up but nothing. How long did it take you to start seeing the money go up?
Oh hmmmm..I don't remember the exact timing now since it was a year ago.... But I think I got the pin and stuff sorted pretty fast (since I don't remember much). Sorry I can't help much!

Congratulations on having the channel for one year! I think it's totally possible to get monetized, you just have to hit the monetization requirements!

@@DinaLu TRUE BUT REmember, i was making money... actually i make $1000 or more on youtube through donations... and this is even before i was monetized... i just did live streams hooked up my pay pal, patreon and other forms of payment systems on the chat and pinned it and people donated.... you are a cute girl you could find a friend.. do some live streams you will get the donations... try it sometimes..

Good points. Creating videos where people are searching for stuff helps. There are recommended keywords websites like Tubebuddy to assist with keywords in the description.

Hey Ghetto, I think so. But I'm actually not 100% sure. Maybe check the RUclips monetization policies to see if they have said anything about that.
How long before u actually start seeing ads on your video after turning them on ?
Right now, I believe all RUclips videos have ads on them. It's just a matter of whether or not the creator gets paid.

I think you need to fulfill the monetization requirements for EACH channel. As for the 2nd question, I'm not sure it matters?
