Sydney - I lost two brothers and when I found your channel I was in a deep depression about that. I had gained a lot of weight and was the heaviest I had ever been. I felt so uncomfortable working out. I was embarrassed to even be in my own home working out “in front” of you. When you shared the story of losing your brother, I immediately felt like I found my place. And I felt way more comfortable completing the workouts with you. Thank you for sharing something hard like that.
In Sept. 2021, I had been doing your workouts for about 6 months & I had never been stronger. On Sept.10 my grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer & I became her caregiver. I was already the primary caregiver to my mom who had stage 4 cancer as well. They passed away 3 weeks apart, my grandma in Oct. & my mom in Nov. My fitness took a back seat to my grief process but now I am finally starting back & I know why I missed you so much!! My whole body hurts but I know that means I’m getting stronger again. Thank you for acknowledging that challenge is hard but worth it & thank you for walking through this process with me without knowing it. I had to let you know what an impact you are making!!
You are amazing! I am sending you a HUGE HUG today! You can now focus on your own health again. You are an Angel in your family for all that you have done. The love for your family somehow makes these things possible. Your inner strength is amazing just like your outer strength! Happy day girl!

Having these 30 minute workouts leave me with zero excuses for not working out and dialing it in when I get here. I do like the longer workouts with more rest in between, but these are just what I need right now. Thank you Sydney for always having exactly the right workouts. You're amazing!
August faves: Another day, another workout. I'm struggling at this point of the year but totally committed to staying consistent. Hearing Sydney talk about the tough side of life was very encouraging. I can hang in there no matter what.
It's been really hard to find the motivation to workout in the morning after getting over COVID between the holidays and a running accident a few months ago. But I know my trainer is putting the time into me (while pregnant none the less!) and I owe it to myself to put that effort into myself. After every workout I leave so much happier and never regret starting. Thank you so much!

I just had a good friend pass away 2 days ago, and I am really struggling with my mental health. It wasn't great before, and now, because of that, it is even worse. It was great to hear you talk about your brother and how you got through it. I am doing my best, but this past week has been rough. Thanks for the help and reminder Sydney.
I absolutely loved this workout but I loved your talk at the end even more. My mother passed away in August 2018 of cirrhosis of the liver. I've found myself struggling with escaping with alcohol on and off ever since. It's been very heavy on my mind lately that I need to be better for her and for myself. I've decided to quit drinking all together and to get back into a regular fitness routine. This is only my first week of consistently working out (in probably over a year) but I feel SO much better already. I'm so happy to be part of this RUclips community. Thank you so much Sydney for making such a positive impact in my life!!

I agree with everyone about loving the 30 minute workouts. They are especially good during the week because I can get up, get the exercise done and then head out the door, motivated and energized.
Day 4 Activate Done ✅. Today was that day where I just didn’t feel like working out, chugged black coffee and still no energy. Even midway through workout I felt like giving up. Legs days aren’t my strongest suite, but what I realised towards the end of the workout, that I persevered and I was consistent and I was disciplined. And there the word of the day by Sydney after one minute of my realisation, “Perseverance ”. It’s like something clicked. I just know now that I just need to show up, no overthinking. Here’s to everyone who showed up even if they didn’t want to. 💪🏼
PERSERVERANCE!!! I too have dealt with death, twice in my family. First, my sister due to cancer and then my mom recently, from Alzeheimers. Sooo hard to find the strength to carry on. But you find it however you can. I/ WE/YOU can do it!! Believe and you can achieve!!
I want to say thank you Sydney for being respectful with your body. You are flippen gorgeous, but you dont use your body as click-bait like so many others do. I absolutely appreciate that my hubby can join me for one of your workouts or stretches without feeling like he's being poked in the eye with another woman's bits n pieces. And I love that my girls can hang out with me while I exercise with you, and I don't have to worry about them seeing inappropriate body/sex-messages. Love these shorter workouts. Much more accessible when I’m working from home and only have 1 hour for a lunch break. Avoids excuses of not having enough time during lunch to do a 40-50 minute work out, shower and prep lunch and being too tired after work to complete a workout! I’m behind the schedule as only started this week but I am catching up!!

I definitely connect with you about the loss of your brother. It's the greatest pain, like losing a limb. Eventually, you learn to live without the limb, but you always notice its absence. Thank you for sharing! For me, it was God who comforted me greatly in the years since her death. I don't usually comment on videos but I wanted to share an unexpected benefit from Sydney's workouts. Because of the pandemic, I have been working out exclusively at home to Sydney's workouts. I love to snowboard but as a result of the pandemic I had not gone for about 2 years. I recently went snowboarding last weekend for the first time in a while and was extremely surprised to see that my balance and handling on the board was superior this time around compared to when I went last. This seems insignificant, but I think that the well-rounded approach to Sydney's workouts and the focus on balance, unilateral training, and working those little muscle groups as well as the large ones SERIOUSLY helped. Thanks, Sydney!! :)

Sydney, so happy to have found your workouts that motivate and challenge, but don't make me feel inadequate if I have to modify a move. I've been working out for nearly all my life but my 50+ year old body doesn't move like it used to. I feel amazing after your workouts! I love that you are not gimmicky, your music is in the background and not offensive, and your moves are safe, effective, and purposeful. I've ditched my gym membership for good!! thanks, Sydney.

😎 I didn’t use sliders at all, just adapted or subbed out moves accordingly and it was still a GREAT workout. Sydney’s energy and chatter throughout is so fun and motivating in these archived sessions, I’ll definitely be doing this one again 😀

Those split squats!!! It has definitely been a while since we have done those, but I was able to push up to my 25 pound weight and get as many reps as I did with my 20's!!!
Recovering from covid and this was a great way to get back into working out. Struggled at times, feeling weak and short of breath, but Sydney's modifications and encouragement kept me going.
I try to do longer workouts but the reality is that a solid, intense 30-minute workout is what I can manage best most week days. This was a great workout! Thank you!

Great 30 minute workout. Haven’t done those split squats in a minute….struggle. Happy for the challenge.
😎 I didn’t use sliders at all, just adapted or subbed out moves accordingly and it was still a GREAT workout. Sydney’s energy and chatter throughout is so fun and motivating in these archived sessions, I’ll definitely be doing this one again 😀

Those split squats!!! It has definitely been a while since we have done those, but I was able to push up to my 25 pound weight and get as many reps as I did with my 20's!!!

Recovering from covid and this was a great way to get back into working out. Struggled at times, feeling weak and short of breath, but Sydney's modifications and encouragement kept me going.

I try to do longer workouts but the reality is that a solid, intense 30-minute workout is what I can manage best most week days. This was a great workout! Thank you!
