- Amazing DIY Pink and Gold Wall Art with Gold Leaf, How to Make Your Own Abstract Art
I think this is my new favorite style of abstract art! I get so inspired by other artists on Facebook and Instagram, and get so many wonderful ideas to try out. This is by far an abstract style that I am going to continue to do! I use white, pink, beige, gold and gold leaf to finish this off. I spent a lot of time blending the colors and then adding another layer of the pink to make some areas darker. I finished it with the gold paint and gold leaf for a really nice pop of metallic color!

I like the metallic. Can't remember did you do a combo of textures and metallic over those textures in a past painting.? I am going to try the metallics in a smaller piece and see how it goes, maybe this is truly "shiny object syndrome". Thanks for posting the video.
Thank you! I have done some gold leaf over some of my texture paintings, but this is the first style like this I've done. I did not add any texture to the canvas first, but I am working on one with texture before doing the acrylics like this for a future video :)

Love this. Did you use the metallic gold paint as the adhesive base for the gold leaf? I didn’t see any glue go down. Thanks.
I added glue but forgot to film that part. You can also use the paint though too while it is still wet.
