Yesss! I've recently tried painting the back of the canvas with water combined with white acrylic before and it's really made a difference! Really appreciate you taking the time to comment ❤️
Dear Grace ❤ I immediately had to subscribe after the first Minutes of this Video. I totally agree with the others: Authentic, serene and super encouraging for us beginners!!! Also your comments on what you liked and disliked and showing us how you erase the pattern to start all over... makes me feel, like I sit next to you 😻💖
Judy this is such a kind comment ❤️ thank you so much I really appreciate it!! It can be scary to make these videos, and I'm grateful for the feedback 🥰
Ahh thank you so much, I really appreciate that! I'm trying to make calm videos that are enjoyable to watch, so I really appreciate that! Are you an artist?
I'm so doing this. I just started working with texture. I've been doing fluid art for 2.5 years and I'm going to try this maybe tonite. Thank you for this. I live your videos
Wow! I love the way you created this on your canvas. The colors from dark to light really stands out. Can’t wait to see more of your videos. See you in the next one. Cheers. 😎😎😎🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
Hey, Grace. I watched and felt a little confused about one thing. Is it really necessary to do with top start down to bottom? Have you ever tried to reverse it by starting from the bottom?
If you did it in reverse it would mean it would overlap differently, you could do that but it wouldn’t create the effect I was looking for with waves going into the distance :)
Admire your patience... I get so damn frustrated with trying to maintain consistency. I have the same texture tools. Why did you trim the one you were using? BTW---I love Henri's work!
Ahh thank you so much ❤️ no one describes me as patient 😅 I found that the edge of the comb I wasn't using was causing problems to the pattern I was creating and I heard it can make a big difference to cut the edge off! Also I trimmed some of the combs on them to be a little shorter as I found the ridges were too deep. Don't be afraid to experiment, see what happens 😍
Hi Grace, spray water on the back of the canvas, it tightens it up. I do tis all the time with my canvas when they are a bit loose. It works.

The colors are gorgeous. Blues are def my favorite & teal! Says the blue paint brush holder. 😂 Your voice is also soothing.
Ahhh thank you so much! Haha I was waiting for someone to notice the blue paint brush holder!
