I finally got art studio so I’m doing art works with painting and drawing and shooting videos with it. I already building my community about art works. What is filler? I think we call it something different in the US…plaster? Spackle? Joint compound?

Thank you for sharing your journey ❤. I was diagnosed with ADHD last year when I was 28. I also find it very hard to get going, so I really resonate with that quote! I have found myself in the throes of a plaster art hyperfixation and I just made a large ocean wave piece but it is cracking off of the canvas 😢. What compound are you using here? It looks like it stays wet a lot longer than the plaster. And have you had any issues with it cracking once dry?

Hi Grace, spray water on the back of the canvas, it tightens it up. I do tis all the time with my canvas when they are a bit loose. It works.

Came across your channel a couple of days ago and immediately fell in love with your work… I have a masters in fine arts and just like you, haven’t picked up a brush in long.. after 2006, to be exact… My question for you is: what would be your advice for someone like me?
