In this painting I am doing a really fun textured piece of wall art! This is so easy, anyone can do this at home for their own piece of wall art! I used spackle and a texture tool to create various shapes across three wood panels, and then used acrylic paints in white and light pink to finish the textured portions. I then used gold leaf to fill in the smaller half circles. Leaf and glue I used are linked below!

I use a spray varnish to finish these.
also, did you mix you paint with gesso or is it straight acrylic paint from the tube?
I just use the paint straight from the bottle. This shade of pink/purple I mixed with white to create the lighter shades.

This is gold leaf. I use glue to adhere it to the painting.
How did you get the spackle to pillowy, fluffy, mashmellowy?
That was just the texture right out of the container!

You can sand it smooth once it is dry.

I am using acrylic paint and I use a spry varnish to finish the paintings.
