- DIY Textured Wall Art with Silver Leaf/ Simple DIY Wall Art with Spackle!
In this painting I am doing a really fun textured piece of wall art! This is so easy, anyone can do this at home for their own piece of wall art! I used modeling paste and a texture tool to create various shapes across the stretched canvas, and then used acrylic purple and beige to finish the larger textured portions. I then used silver leaf to fill in a few of the half arches. Leaf and glue I used are linked below!
Modeling paste: amzn.to/3wHnrn2
Spatulas: amzn.to/37mTeRG and amzn.to/3xCyAaT
Silver leaf: amzn.to/3PlLSyW
Leaf Adhesive: amzn.to/3wnWPIS

Was this on a canvas ? I find wood is easier to sprread ttthe plaster even .. Tthanks .. I love tthe design and the ccolors ...
Yes this one was canvas but I do also work on wood.
Im really curious how to decide which product to use. Because in this video you are using modeling paste and in an other video you used lightweight spackling. I want to try for the first time but not sure which product you think works easier ? And also for a painting like this, how much ML are you using? Do you need a Litre or maybe have enough with 250/500 ml?
I don't measure precisely do I don't know how much you'd need but I add about 1/8 t0 1/4 inch of paste on the canvas. There are a lot of different brands of texture paste so I am using different ones to see what I like. Both work well but you can try whatever you have available where you live.
What kind of tool are you using for those lines?
It's a spackle texture tool: amzn.to/3mZvJ5d
What is it you put after you structured the modeling paste? Right before the colors?
Glue for the silver leaf.
i couldn't figure out if you use adhesive before gluing the leaves or after the process
Adhesive before adding the leaf.
@@amandasstudio Okay, thank you 😊
What type of glue are you using? Thanks
I have it linked in the video description
Can you tell me if you seal these with anything after they are completely dry? Also, how do you finish off your sides?
I have not sealed them but you could use a liquid or spray varnish. I am leaving the sides as is.
Que materialnes el que gotea?
Modeling paste for the texture, glue and then silver leaf over the glue.
What type of paste are you using?
Modeling paste, I linked my items in the video description.
Alguem sabe falar que massa é essa?
This is modeling paste.
Hi, What is the recipe and ratios of this paste?
This is just straight modeling paste, nothing added in.
