I've took up capoeira a few years ago and yeah, it has made me rediscover the joy of moving your body with intensity and creativity. Something we tend to lose when leaving childhood behind. Be safe with your back. Having good leg flexibility will avoid violent stretches on the lower back when you kick. I had to work on that daily since I was initially very stiff. Also, I work my hip flexors mobility and strength daily and it helps a lot to stabilize the hip joints during kicks. Capoeira motivates me to get in better shape all around ;) Sometimes it's frustrating because you feel like you're fighting against your body, but there is always a short daily routine that will solve it!

Those elbow raises can put a lot of pressure on the elbow bursas. Easy to develop a case of elbow bursitis if done of hard surfaces (a frequent bboy injury). You can redistribute much of the pressure off the point of the elbow but laying down the whole edge of your forearm and pointing your fingers.

well it was easy for u , I done all exercises well except elbow rise,where I took help of other hand ,bcoz my arms r not that strong enough so I have done all 40 but I'll count them as half and head to elbow I fear that my neck could broke ...So my
