This reminds me of all the translucent PS1 cases that were all the rage in the late 90s. I never bothered recasing my PS1 although I did add a modchip.
Okay that looks really good! Love to see some LEDs placed on the inside though! Make it Glow!
Some silver decals of the Sega and Saturn logos would look pretty cool too!

You're still missing that cover on the backside. You could also try bleaching the yellowed case now that it's not being used

Awesome conversion, I want to do that to my Dreamcast. I want mine green if possible. Also glad to see your disc system is working and maybe in the future you can spray paint the 3D printed part blue / reprint a blue one?
Ebay has them. I bought a black DC case from an Aussie seller for around $100. They are NOT cheap, but ARE well made.
@@TexasHollowEarth thanks for the recommendation. I’ll have to look into it, I already bought a green controller and green VMU. Just looked into the seller, not a bad price. Have you seen the Dreamcase that’s all aluminum? It looks good too and if I can get it painted, I would be totally into buying it.

I love all your stuff wicked brother I love my sexy side and still got it with the four megabit ram card I had a soda a wire to it so I can play the one megabit games back in the day and I changed the casing on that thing into a transparent gray one love you stuff thank you for the videos I can't wait to get me a casing probably a green one have a good one brother
Do you know if this works with VA1 model 1's at all? I have two USA Model 1 units with top shells that have broken screw mounts so they don't really stay together well.

Buy a Japanese one, much cheaper. And with a an action replay cart you can play all regions.

I think not, Saturn and DC are not brand new on ALi-Express.

You should have just left the old shielding out. The shielding defeats the purpose of a see-through case.
But, you could put a pi or other hardware in a cool case like this, put a cd drive motor in it and power said motor on an adjustable speed switch, and put a disc in it for aesthetic… and have awesomeness…
I have sweat looking white Japanese Saturn. So not impressed.

The best case is the original case. An ugly blue translucent case is not an upgrade.
