Beautiful ending to one of the best movies ever, "A Time To Kill". Starring Matthew McConaughey and Samuel Jackson, as well as a host of other great actors and actresses.

Dunno about best friends, but at least they'll learn a little bit more about each other, so the barriers their parents grew up with will be softer when it's their turn.

We're trying. We're actually closer to realizing the dream than we have been at any time in the past. We sometimes forget as we continue to address systemic inequality, that a lot of progress has been made, and to celebrate the victories we've had even as we demand more. For the first time, a majority of Americans now stand firmly against racism and racial inequality. America is probably ahead of europe in terms of countering casual racism, because we talk freely about it and call people out when they're being problematic. europe still struggles to do that at times.

Sam Lim yeah it was supposed to, but it wasn’t. Those men were gonna walk free. Put yourself in the father’s shoes. Really think about the time period in which this film was set. This was a time when not only did black people get wrongfully accused of crimes they did not commit even if there was no evidence to prove they did, but crimes committed against black people was looked past even if there was all the evidence in the world just because they were black and to them they black people didn’t matter.
