What happened to Tata in the export market? I quite liked the basic but durable Xenon ute that they previously offered in the Australian market. I would love for Tata to offer a decent pick up truck for the global markets. I wish the Indian brands were more present so that consumers don't have to look at Chinese brands to get value for money. Bring back the Xenon Tata!!!! At least Mahindra still offer the PikUp here.

Safari steering is hydraulic whereas xuv gets electronic type, Safari rear suspension is solid beam, whereas xuv gets multilink suspension, which transfers into better steering geometry with good ride, well engineered by mahindra, though Harrier has better road presence than xuv 5 seater
No matter what, XUV will out sell Safari due to better brand image, engine reliability, better service station experience and resale. Period Respect for Safari but past experience with it left a bitter taste

clearly XUV 700 is the winner without an iota of doubt.. Tata safari has one serious ergonomic issue, the cockpit is not comfortable for someone of 5'10'' and above height. The knees hurt after sometime as it hits the edge of the dashboard in the center. a big no for some of 5'10 and above height..

You forgot the most important factor., timelines.. people need the car in a month.. not in 18.I believe the reviews going forward should include tentative delivery timelines as well.. makes it easier to choose the right vehicle..

The Safari is a great car! But the XUV bettered it in almost every department. I'm sure, Tata is already on the job with updates to make it a more interesting fight.
Why cant tata, just fix the 3 issues that everyone talks about time and time again. 1. Electronic steering 2. bigger info screen with better user interface (i think the problem should be solved with better chips, which is not an expensive solution). 3. Better cams with 360 option.
Tata needs to work on the Safari's Infotainment system. 8.8 is too small. ADAS is quite to early for India. its use will be very very minimal in India. you also need to speak about the waiting periods for the vehicles

One thing is not compaired anywhere is term of availability.Xuv 70p has huge waiting with its first batch of production. Customers are receiving delivery dates of more then 6 months and upto one year. While safari booking and delivery time is 1 month. Many customers will go on safari including me

Fiat multijet 2.0 under the hood of Safari is a 🔥 Much refined, smooth, fuel efficient and silent too. The torque converter automatic gearbox in Safari gets and edge over 700. Ofcourse the movable second row seats and third row seating, head room and theatre like view in Safari scores. However the loaded features makes 700 scores in those areas.

Safari is ❤️ According to me, Safari has a mascular , rugged suv type looks, where xuv 700 looks like a mpv.... ofcourse the front look of the xuv is attractive but it is not attractive from the back & side . Now both the cars have their own pros & cons. Only the customer's requirements will decide which one is good for him/her.
That auto dipper feature should be mandatory in every vehicle. Even in city everyone puts on high beam unnecessarily.
Since there's an option of switching off that feature... I'm sure all the owners would keep that feature OFF... You know why...

Mahindra always omits rail mechanism for 2nd row. If 2nd row seats were fitted on rail , then 3rd row space could have been way too usable.

According to me, Safari has a mascular , rugged suv type looks, where xuv 700 looks like a mpv.... ofcourse the front look of the xuv is attractive but it is not attractive from the back & side .
Now both the cars have their own pros & cons. Only the customer's requirements will decide which one is good for him/her.
Both cars are good and proud indian product...i will definitely go for one of them in next year moving away from Hyundai
