Iroh is 36 at this point in the show. Korra is 17 and Mako and Asami are 18. It’d be kind of weird if iroh were to end up in that triangle 😂
Agneta Steam I mean, I think its a percentage thing. Tenzin is like 26% older than Pema but Iroh is 50% older than Korra
Khalil Gordon iroh is more than twice korras age as 17 + 17 is 34, thats not 50% my dude. Its 100 and some change.
Quick maths... Back to school with you
Honestly why should it matter how much older they are to each other, as long as their legal adults who cares about their age at this point if they could care less and are happy for each other i don't see any issue to it as with Tenzin and Pema despite their age gao.
They all look like 20 lol
"What is the unique bending of air bending" they're asking the future questions :p
Rinku San lol flight...
AL reacts come on dude. Dick move man. Dick move.
SuaveGemini I don’t think the norms read comments anymore lol too many spoilers
Rinku San It’s not even unique style of airbending. It’s not even a technique, it’s literally just pulling air out of someone’s lungs.
PrismAnime I believe he's talking about Detachment, or Flight.
funfact: the greatest bloodbender is actually mr krabs from spongebob. (voice of yakone)
ARE YOU FEELING THE BLOODBENDING MR KRABS????
The enemy cannot push a button if you disable his hand!
And the kid-versions of the two brothers are both played by Aang
xzacutionar damn it you beat me saying that.
xzacutionar the greatest metalbender of all time is the crazy teacher from i carly (lin beyfong)
xzacutionar wtf lol
The Avatar takes bending away using energybending.
Amon takes it away by using bloodbending to permanently block the chakras.
Permanently ! Didn't Korra give it back to them
@@aniket8350 Permanently except for blood and energy bending.
*THE ULTIMATE CHI BLOCK*
Jesus Denmark k
lmao epic
The key to how Amon takes away bending using blood bending is all in the chakras. Remember ATLA season 2 episode “The Guru”?
*Edit*
What I meant to say was the whole connection. In the avatar world, the chakras could mean something different than ours. What the Guru said was “The sixth pool of energy is the light chakra, located in the center of the forehead. It deals with insight and is blocked by illusion. The greatest illusion of this world is the illusion of separation.”
:
They’re implying that in Amon’s technique. Especially because he targets the center of the forehead. But he uses his blood bending to “shut” the chakra.
Jessica Cortez I always headcanoned that he cause a miniature blod clot in the part of the brain that controls bending
my head canon was somehow yakon getting his bending being taken away by aang somehow diverged that ability to his first of kin who he had years later atleast this is what i thought when i was younger and the season first came out
but its most likely trained bloodbending/chi block
Nope, it's just like chi blocking only the blood bending makes it permenant instead of temporary.
Jessica Cortez Chakara's are spiritual its not inside the blood or body.
Buddhist people believe in Chakra's and i know its not in the body or blood so what you are saying is bullshit.
Aang getting his chakras blocked because of physical damage was a season long plot point. And both Ty Lee and the Equalists block them repeatedly in both series.
Tarrlok said it himself on why he was still inadvertently acting like this. For both him and his brother, their past and upbringing still held a grip on them and shaped them to this day. It wasn't until he was thrown in that cell by his brother that he had time to self-reflect on everything he's done.
From the start, Tarrlok and even Amon most likely had pure intentions for what they wanted to do but because of their father, it was perverted in a way. Someone on Patreon said it best, their story is indeed a testament to the effect abuse and crime can have on the lives of young children.

And what adds more layers to Amon was his literal layers of his physical identity. He got surgery like his father and even lightened his skin. He put make up on his face and he wore a mask. It’s such deep rooted self hatred. He’s had a miserable life. Poor guy, his actions aren’t excusable haha not saying that. Just understandable.
aeris44 Not excusable but yes, understandable and just plain sad.
I just want to let y’all know that you’ve made my stay in a hospital so much better! I really enjoy watching these and reacting with y’all!
Jack .Reed Hope you get well and arr enjoying their reactions as much, if not more, than we are. Hang in there.
Jack .Reed Awesome. Stay strong brother! Keep hope alive, you are somebody
Feel better soon, friend.

How are you now bro,I hope you are better
Tarrlok's family is so tragic, and probably the most tragic family in the entire Avatar series
True
AnimeFreak21 Fire Nation Royal family in ATLA says hi
The Avatar kinda the same Tbh But atleast they had Iroh Tarrlock family had no one like Iroh
Have you met the fire nation family?
@@Mika-qb2dy yeah but they had endless servants and were literal ROYALTY, and in their eyes they were right. idk they're both bad lmao
The conversation between asami and mako is basically "I care about you, but I'm with Korra"

I'm with Micky and Nahid. Amon is somehow using bloodbending to achieve the same result as the Avatar, but I think it's more like a long-lasting form of chi-blocking. Whenever Aang took bending, he would always place one hand on the person's head and the other on their heart.
Mayhemm007
I suspect it's a chakra thing.
Yes it's like the best lvl of chi blocking.
I always assumed he was using blood bending to cause a mini stroke in peoples brains to block off the parts of the brain which control that form of bending
Amon blocks Chi from the inside with Blood Bending. The Avatar does something else that you will learn in a future season of Korra.
l50I50l lol
It hurts me when Suraj and Micky complain about the radio voice guy. Support the radio voice guy!
KnowYourHistory what is there to complain about? Smh. He's great.
I love his voice, but I see where theyre coming from. It does take a lot of the seriousness away.
they don't hate the guy, they have a valid point, its in dissonance with the events
Relextor Only if you find certain dialects comedic.
KnowYourHistory he’s annoying after a while tbh

Guys I just realized smth, noatak and tarrlok were like Azula and Zuko. Noatak was a prodigy(azula) and his father always pushed him to do his absolute best(he also mastered bloodbending at 14 like azula). His father pushed him in order to gain the revenge he wanted, kinda like how Ozai manipulated and trained azula to be a weapon for his plans. Tarrlok was regarded as weak (like zuko) and was going to be taught "a lesson", and when Noatak left, their father's only wish was disregarded as he saw Tarrlok as nothing more than a "weak" bender/person.
Ozai was an even more horrible father than Yakone in every way.
Young Noatak (Amon) has the same hairstyle as Korra, not sure if that was intended or an accident
Yeah what he said.👆
ThatAussieGirl Yeah I know, I just pointed it out
(Sorry for my English)
When the producers, or the animator, I don't remember, were doing Noatak Hair, they realized that was the same as Korra, and decided to keep, to do like if was a traditional hairstyle from the South Water Tribe.
Vimi M. Nice thanks for the info
Vimi M. It's actually pretty cool.
I have to say, I really like what they do with Tarrlok's character throughout this season. He serves several contradictory roles in the narrative, but it still all somehow works in service to the themes of the story.
I've just noticed that every season except 4 has a minor antagonist who's at odds with the major antagonist and presents a theme in opposition to the main one. It's part of why I think Korra is a more morally nuanced series than ATLA.
Hmmmm...
Season 1:main antagonist:Amon (is at odds with minor antagonist Tarrlok)
Season 2:main antagonist:Unalaq (is at odds with minor antagonist Varrick)
Season 3:main antagonist:Zaheer (is at odds with minor antagonist Hou Ting)
OMG
Imagine if General Iroh got a scar on his eye during the explosion
Nah it’s good to keep zuko unique
Amon takes bending away by using his bloodbending to break the energy(chi) pathways, or meridians, in the body. This is explained very well in the Hello Future Me video titled "How Amon removes bending THEORY," with confirmation from the show creators. The bloodbending also helped him in fights, which is why he seemed so impossibly skilled in combat.
It doesn't get expanded upon much more, but yeah, "Ultimate chi block" would be an accurate way to put it. Where'as Aang's Energy Bending removes one's bending ability through the spirit, Amon intercepts the biological factors of bending, whatever those might be. So instead of blocking the flow of chi, he severs it.
You could assume maybe that someone could repair it through Bloodbending, but no one would've ever thought of it or tried it, and regular Waterbending Healing probably wouldn't do anything if he metaphorically made the cut clean enough.
I loved this episode and all the backstory; Amon wants everyone to be equal. And it's easier for him to take bending away, considering that he can't give it to anyone. If there's no bending, everyone is on equal footing. As for Tarrlock, his motivation comes from his father: In his efforts to be better, he still ended up on a slippery slope. Can't wait for the next episode! (:
Name one instance where it was shown that Amon actually cared about equality. Because we never see what his motivations are.
*shrugs* Okay... He's DEFINITELY all about equality...under his own thumb. He has spent this WHOLE SEASON making BENDERS unable to bend, just like NON-BENDERS, therefore putting them on EQUAL FOOTING: If he had his way, NO ONE would be able to bend, not even the AVATAR, who he CLEARLY stated is the MOST POWERFUL person on the show: "The Avatar took away your bending, what's more powerful than that?"
Not to mention he and his group are called EQUALISTS. If he just so happens to be the only one left standing with all the power after his crusade is done, then that's a bonus for him (since he's CLEARLY got a thirst for power).
Tarrlock even says it in THIS episode: "Even back then, my brother everyone to be treated FAIRLY and EQUALLY." The WHOLE SEASON is the instance.
za21 What? We legit got Tarloq narrating the roots of his motivation.
aeris44 Another character expositing about a character and telling the audience what that character's motivations are is not good writing and does not tell us what Amon himself actually believes in.
za21 Disagree. Tarloq is just telling it thru his perspective and how it affected him in order to help Korra. We have already seen Amon express his dissent of benders thru the season countless times. That would honestly get to a point where it’s spoonfeeding. His backstory just reveals the details and the origin of his motivation. Cuz in what situation would he reveal his backstory to Korra? He’s trying to put on an image and the point to defeat himself is to reveal his hypocrisy to his followers. It would be odd and make no sense for him to admit that in the context of the story.
I don’t feel we need to literally hear a backstory from the character’s own mouth to be considered “good writing.” The pieces are already there to put together and most of them actually (for both Amon and Tarloq) have always been there and *that* is why we consider it good writing.
V: ''nahid said whos the best invetor in the world?''
Z: " Hiroshi sir''
V: '' DO THE THING!!"
Lol
One of the best things to come out of season 2 The infamous V.
I can’t wait for that
This episode is so dark, sad and emotional. It's such a good episode it's finally the backstory of amon which everyone is waiting for and I think they did a good job
I literally felt every emotion you guys did! So excited for the finale!
The way Amon and Aang takes away bending are different. Look at the way their stances are when they do it.
Aang does it by having one thumb on the person's forehead and one thumb on the chest. That's how the Lion Turtle taught him. It's more SPIRITUAL. Also, Aang as the Avatar can take and give back a person's bending.
As for Amon, he does it by having one thumb on the forehead while gripping the neck/shoulder area with his other hand. Amon's way of taking bending away is just an advanced technique where it messes with the blood flow of a person's body to the point that it disrupts a person's bending. It's more PHYSIOLOGICAL. The reason why people have not found a way to "heal" this and get their bending back is because no one has ever encountered it before and so don't know what to do about it.
When he said “poor Asami” I thought he said “Korrasami” and I almost flipped my shit.
Whenever I learn about Tarrlok's and his brothers backstory, I always am so glad that Amon protected Tarlok from their dad! But, he shouldn't have just up and left his brother and mom, at least not with Yakone. Maybe convince them to leave with him? I don't know, but it's still really sad that the two brothers ended up following in their father's footsteps while at the same time trying NOT to do so.
That part always seemed strange too me
This is a great episode in Korra while there are definitely disagreements between fans about his origin but I think it’s handled really well. On top of that the music was my favorite in the series second only maybe to the music during Suzuki and azula’s fught in the atla finale. The music is “before” by Jeremy zuckerman and I listen to it all the time
I think this is the best thing they could come up with.
Lmao who tf is Suzuki?
Suzuki is my favorite character 🤓
Suzuki is best character.
Suzuki FTW !!!
Damn that hit. I'm listening to them talk about Aangs children, and they mention Bumi is probably an air bender. It really shows how human Aang was to expect Bumi to be an airbender, and be disappointed afterward. Now its unique bending, definitely choosing flight
4:28
Ohhh...poor Asami. For some reason I thought you said korrasami.
Dunne N' dusted lol so did i
Korrasami? What are you talking about? Don't be crazy. Why would that be a thing?
Dunne N' dusted yes because korrasami is a thing.
Our last hero
Nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more!
@@ourlasthero51 it actually is
don't forget, Yakone was training them to kill Aang, because Aang was only 40 when taking down Yakone, and the boys were born a few years after. also, Noatok calls the avater "he".
What's fascinating about the whole family's story is that, despite hating their father, the abuse they suffered under him still shaped them as people. This is similar to how real-life abusive childhoods can warp the way people grow up mentally. For example, Tarloq feeling all control taken away from him, both physically from the bloodbending and mentally from his dad controlling their lives while forcing his expectations on them, made him desire power, control, and most of all, agency in his own life. A lust for power in his adult life that was born from an utter lack of power in his childhood. A beautifully tragic backstory :(
Funny how your bending can be completely spiritually removed and you can still pass on the bloodbending genes.
Not as much plot happened this time, but I always appreciate backstory, especially a villain's backstory; and it sets up the next episode well. Great reaction, thanks for sharing!
I just love the backstory. I Just love that fact that he is a hypocrite. It is so easy to come with some reason for him to hate benders and have been xyz. But the fact is, it so much more compelling to have him a hypocrite and have his power be the bane of his being, a necessary evil to solve his problem. Due to episode limitation I would have loved to see the inner workings of the bending blockage and his personal thoughts but I'm fine with what we got.
It also makes SPOLER
The idea that when tarrlock kills them both, amon realizes what he is doing and accepts it.
I think Taarlok had the "gain power within Republic City" mindset ingrained into him to the point where he couldn't stop it. Like, yeah he knew taking over by force was wrong but aftee heading 'take over republic city' again and again for so long, he just gravitated towards it
Aang did not use bloodbending to take the bending away. Amon does this. But the result is pretty much the same.
Korra went all little mermaid when she pulled general Iroh out of the water lol
Omg Zukos son (or grandson idk) has his voice I’m gonna cry
Colonial Rat
Many people complaining about his voice...heck it,I don’t care cause I’m a person who appreciate Dante’s talent
Can someone explain to me why people always talk about how it needs to be made into good live-action? The animation is what makes it what it is. It's perfect how it is, and shouldn't be made into live-action because that ruins the feel of what the show is. Animation like this is capable of doing what live-action can't. It looks better, and is more beautiful to look at. The action and fights and magic/bending are all better done with this animation than anything they could do with shitty cgi.
10:54 wow I didn’t realize that aang was the voice of young Amon and tarlock whatever but now I finally hear it
The lion-turtle specifically described what it taught Aang as "energy bending." Amon, like Korra, has little connection to the spirits or energy, so his method probably bends something within the body to block that energy, whereas what Aang can do moves the energy itself and can probably heal whatever blocking is done just with a bodily manipulation. Regarding chakras, it's also interesting to note their different hand placements when taking bending. Both placed their thumb on the target's forehead, but Aang places the palm and thumb of his other hand at the top of the person's chest, whereas Amon grabs them by the side of the neck from behind, possibly to put his thumb on the back of the neck.
"Korra, this isn't a mission you should be handling alone."
"She won't be. I'm going with her"
(Queue the disapproval from literally everyone who watches the show)
Mr. Krabs is Tarlokk and Amon farther. I knew Mr. Krabs had dark side.
Avatar Roku korra touched his money
Alannah Steuer You mean Aang touched his money Korra wasn't alive or born at that time
Avatar Roku yeah lol
Avatar Roku He also played Hades in GOW3
No mater how many times i hear this story my heart breaks.
As some one is an older brother to one younger brother that's how it is,
It's just two of you, all you have are each other.
And this story is just so sad of how well it portrays being a brother.
I do realize though that in TLA, we don't get to see much blood-bending. Even though it is dark and evil, we really get to see what it does and how powerful it truly is in this show.
So many fanfics, hope the series continues eventually.
One I would like to see is the story of how the Avatar from the fire nation (100 years after The Legend of Korra ) has to deal with the consequences of the evil actions the world believes the previous Avatar did, his life in the hiding and how he/she tries to uncover the truth and finds the way to redemption..... Or something close to that.
A fun-fact note on the names of Aang's and Katara's kids:
Kya was the name of Katara's mother, and Katara named her daughter after her mom;
Bumi was obviously named after Aang's friend, who became King Bumi of Omashu;
Tenzin is a deep-cut about Aang's friend, mentor, and foster father, Monk Gyatso - Gyatso was named after the real name of the Dalai Lama, which is Tenzin Gyatso, and so Aang's son took the other half of the Dalai Lama's name, Tenzin, and between Aang's foster dad (Gyatso) and Aan's son (Tenzin), we get the full name of the Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso. :)
It’s been two years and I only just found these. I love your guys reactions!😆
It's friggin Zuko without the scar!!!
Bloodbending lobotomies
What Amon is doing isn't strictly the same thing as what Aang does when he takes away bending, he's not energy bending. It's also not a form of chi blocking as that's only temporary, eventually the chi will break the obstruction and keep flowing. Energy bending severs a benders spiritual connection their element, cutting them off completely. Theoretically, what Amon does is use highly advanced and potent blood bending to shut down the part of the brain that allows benders to use their abilities. It's less a spiritual severing and more a scientific form of locking. The connection is still there, they just can't access it.
They are in the middle of a war and Macko still Macking, ultimate Fuckboi
Mako Not everyone is going to like a character...Opinions shouldn’t really make you “sick”
Lmao ya'll upset our boy Mako tryin to get some during war? You guys obviously don't know Korra booty is a necessity 😂
ThatAussieGirl That’s the thing about opinions. They are subjective. They don’t care what you think is “smart”.
ThatAussieGirl No, I just think it’s stupid to say everyone else’s way of thinking is invalid because I don’t like it. They have just as much a right to say what they want as anyone else. Why do you care so much what other people say if you believe you’re right?
ThatAussieGirl stop cheating it's disgusting
Oh my gosh! I am so hyped for next week. I cannot wait to see your reaction!
Can't wait til they get to Wan and Rava
Darryl Jack shhhhhhhh xD
'You are a wise and noble hobo' For some reason, I just love that line xD Those indeed are the first ever airplanes in the Avatar universe. Yeah I thik Korra needed a minute to aclimatise(?), to see what is happening, what kind of threat it is and how id works so she can counter-attack it. I do love how mature the characters are handling the love triangle overall. Asami was never mean to Korra, neither Korra to her and I really love that they choose to portray it like that. If they do a love triangle, please do it like this (or like the one in Lost Girl. Love that show
3:50 "Harmoniously Converge"...if that ain't the greatest foreshadowing I've ever heard!! wow!
The score that is used during the backstory of Amon is so beautiful.
The next episode is going to be even sadder
Oh dam always hits me in the feels
karl jonson same its going be even more sadder at book 3
It will be just like the good old days.
Avatar Roku I like the Avatar theme too
10:54 none of them notice aang voice
I cannot WAIT until the next episode. Their reactions are going to be amazing!
Amon is using the chakra points to remove bending
This episode was great, can't wait till the season finale next week, there are a lot of moments in it that would make for some awesome reactions! And the week after that is the beginning of my favourite Korra season :)
9:51 In the words of the Shyamalan: "What a twist!"
it was mentioned in the last airbender that to control bending in located in a part of the brain that also controls chi.so in theory, he uses blood bending to either cut or block the blood vessel to that area, similar to a stroke
love the reactions and the hard work! keep it up normies! and if ever have the time, come over for a meet up in the netherlands some time XD. greets, major fan
Can’t wait until you guys see the finale and the next season!!
The way I see it, Amon seems to be permanently blocking the Chi within a person that allows them to bend, with Psychic Bloodbending. He's not really taking it away, it's just being permanently blocked.
Can’t wait to see your reaction to episode 12
There's one thing I regret with the Equalists story, we dont see enough of the discrimination of the non benders by the benders. There's one time where gangsters of the Triad threatened some merchants, but after that not that much. Some characters said they or their family were attacked by firebenders but never show these moments. Plus technology has evolved in a way non benders are even better equiped than non benders of TLA who could still kick ass. So I wish they showed more instead of telling.
No your argument could be easily countered by the fact that Hiroshi Sato is one of the city's richest and most glorious men because of everything he invented, even though he was a non bender, the same could said about Cabbage Corp with it's president not being a bender. He made a flourishing business out of technology. And are all the people of the council benders ? Because after all Sokka was a councilman even though he wasn't a bender, so wrong point. And the problem I have is not that the inequalities are inexistant, it's that there not shown enough, you don't see republic city and the first thing you observed is "the non benders are treated like trash". It has never been said in the show that non benders suffered from unemployement at the expense of benders. The ghettos of Republic City even have benders living with non benders. The only thing said about the treatement of the non benders citizens is by the equalist supporter who does Amon's promotion in the street "For too long, the bending elite of this city have forced nonbenders to live as lower class citizens!", ok but what did they do exactly ?! In a more ancient society like in TLA I could understand benders taking a more important spot, but the industrial and technological revolution, there's more chances for a non bender to integrate properly into society. Again all the technology you see has been created by people's minds, not bendings like Varrick for example. If the creators wanted to make us to appreciate Amon's fight, they should have shown explicitly how much non benders suffered from their treatement, just like we saw how much the Fire Nation caused a lot of suffering around the world, or even the separation of classes in Ba Sing Se. And to finish why the hell would you give the job of redirecting lightning to someone who's not a firebender ? Why would you let a non bender be a doctor if the waterbenders provide the best healing ? Let's be honest if someone is fit for the job he gets it, you won't give a man with handicaps issues a job on a construction site just to say "Hey we provide equality you see", the guy can bring his skills for another job more adapted to him.
Thank you, Micky. I was worried y'all weren't going to put together how Amon's ability works.
Yakone was voiced by the same guy who voiced Long Feng in Avatar, Clancy Brown. You can tell he's a great actor because he's only in a few episodes in each series but is very memorable.
It's a lobotomy via bloodbending. He and many of his followers are chi-blockers, so they have to be very familiar with the nervous system. As a bloodbender, Amon is able to manipulate and even sever nerve connections, including those within the brain.
The creators confirmed it was bloodbending and it had to do with chakras/ Watch the Hello Future Me video on this, but I'm certain that Amon reads the chi paths of the individuals and knows which paths are active and related to bending, so he uses bloodbending to block those paths
Subscribed on Patreon to get early access but still somehow manage to watch here also. :)
The LOK video game was a wasted opportunity and just an overall disappointment 😢
Sam is Dead Still played it though, I had to
Actually enjoyable... for the first few hours only tho. it was very repetitive. But the animated cutscenes were great
What are you talking about? I loved the video game. At least we can play in Avatar State.
Sam is Dead Bioware needs to make an Avatar video game
I wanted to see more on the consequences of Korra (spoilers) keeping the spirit portals opened and having to deal with her rash decision on that and dealing with the mess she caused but instead it's just one scary guy that comes out of it and Korra defeats him and other then the airbending stuff and the magic vines we don't see Korra understand that her rash actions can damage the world.
Aww, no reaction to the "How does Hiroshi find the time to keep making new, evil machines?!" line xD
I disliked Tarlock in all previous episodes, but this one put a new perspective on his actions and made me feel sorry for him.
In the flashback they didn't show the 'big lights' but there was a glow, Which Amon doesn't have. Tarloq said that Amon was using Yakone's Psychic bloodbending technique
Omg i'm waiting for this video for such a long time
Kisses from Brazil
I would say that it is just the ultimate form of chi blocking by using blood bending.
That’s why he could walk through Bloodbending, because he was stronger.
And in the flashback there wasn’t the red and blue lights, but Aangs eyes and arrow did light up.
The planes are based off of air nation gliders and mixed with fire nation technology and most of the tech are based off of something in other nations and mixed with fire nation technological advancements
Omg when your looking thru the playlist and you don't see them reacting to season 3-
(LIKE WHY NOT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SEASONS!-)
I CAN'T WAIT TILL NEXT WEDNESDAY
Is it me or does young Amon sound like Aang, like the voice actor
it was tarrlok
Amon did in fact use blood bending to permanently block the chakras, much like how Aang was learning to open them to fully control the Avatar state and ended up locked out of it till his fight with Ozai. Also yeah everyone has chakra, in the Avatar Universe. However no healers (including the renowned healer Katara) could fully fix this block.
The way I see Amon's ability to take bending away is like chi blocking, but with blood bending. Something so deep that normal chi blockers would never be able to reach
Oh, I wrote this before you guys started talking about it. You guys got it. Lol

absolutely nobody:

rana w the bassnectar tattoo... respect.
really should have done a combo review along with the finale. its just one more episode after all
Avatar Aang learned Energy Bending from the Giant Lionturtle at the end of season 3 of ATLA. That's how he was able to take away Ozai and Yakone's bending. Amon learned to take away bending as an extension of his blood bending. They're probably different.
Hardcore ATLA and Korra fan. Love your videos! Can't wait for you guys to get further along in the show!
I just found out how Amon was able to take away a persons bending ability, by disrupting the chi flowing through their body. This is likely thanks to his knowledge of blood bending and chi blocking
Wow Suraj good R Kelley impression .
At Avatar: The Last Airbender it was shown multiple times that the body and the spirit are connected, so it makes sense to take bending away with bloodbending. It most likely has something to do with the chakras.
What do you mean ‘Even Aang couldn’t have done anything against those planes’??? You don’t think the avatar state could’ve wiped them out???
TheSiddiquiBros I think they were talking on Aang skills alone. Not including the Avatar state. That doesn't count. If you are comparing the previous Avatars using the Avatar state is what all of them could do.
The ultimate Chiblock is a pretty accurate description, I think. That with maybe some Chakra stuff mixed in.
interesting fact, 10yrs after Noatak/Amon ran away from him family Aang died and Korra was born
Was totally totally thinking the same idea as Nahid, was thinking like a hippie earthbender then a Mad Max firebender.
It made sense to do the attack first then find out about the main bad guy's past
