Thanks for watching the video
let me know if you have any questions or video suggestions :) Спорт
I'm relearning my tre flips and I also noticed that the more vertical the board gets the better the rotation is.
Thanks man.
Been thinking of getting back into skating for mental and physical benefits.
These kinda videos make me wanna see if I can get what I never could consistently before .
Blessings and good vibes your way brother.
Oh cool yeah you just gotta ease into it. But yeah I wish I had RUclips tutorials when I was young haha... good luck to you ... most importantly have fun !!!
I recently got a new board been the best decision ive made in awhile
Dude your Ollie tutorial and this one are so good! 50 year old skater here getting back into it one trick at a time. Man scooping forward is such a game changer! It’s literally the only thing I haven’t tried. Can’t wait to give it a spin😂❤🧙🏽♂️
Super informative and helpful. Much appreciated this was put out there.
I've just subscribed! I like your videos ,they are very informative. cheers to you guys
Oh thank you I'm glad it helps !!!
Amazing video man, this definitely deserves millions of views over the tens of hundreds simple just scoop the board tutorials out there. 🎉
Great tutorial Ted!! Video quality is looking crisp!
Oh thanks Daniel!!!!
I landed my first tre in 10 years today. I scooped towards the nose but instead of worrying about my front foot flicking, i made my scoop foot get the tre at its most vertical point then i just lift my front foot up and it flips and rotates better than i ever could before
Very interesting facts. Tre flip is for some of us a passion and all depth details are fascinating.
One other fact not very popular and I see you're doing too is that the board does not rotate under your body but deside. When scooping the body position (shoulders / hips) are making the board moves between 5 or 10 inches ahead of your chest. That allows you as you said to scoop forward. Otherwise your deck will hit your legs
Yes... I still haven't completed my tre flip ... I am actually working on what you're talking about...
really good tutorial man and you are right most tutorials in youtube never mentioned about these 3 facts. when i tell people how to tre flip i usually let them know which direction they need to skate the tail and to which direction they need to flick/extend the front foot.
Yeah I think most people somehow figured out without really understanding the trick... which confuse a lot of people
*scoop the tail
changing from a 8.125 to a 8.25 (maybe more concave) DEFinatly makes the board flips more, I had to relearn pop-shuvs cuz they would land primo. I battle it real hard.
I have not yet learned tre-flips, but I guess i have landed maybe a couple doing *failed backfoot impossibles.
The only pressure flips/ foot position I learned is for hardflips.
This is really forward scoop too. and the front foot getting out/barely assisting.
I have yet to master and actually land, on purpose, a tre-flip... many skaters have this tricks unlocked early it's mindblowing!
Thanks for the advices man good jobs with the tuts!
I recently got back into skating after like 15 years. I used to ride a 7.5. The guy at the shop asked how I landed on it. It finally clicked why a bigger board is good. I need a large area to land.
I used to ride super tight trucks that tip is really helpfull
Oh I'm glad it helped !!!!
Thanks for making this video man I've been scooping wrong like you said. I always land too far on the nose.
yeah i had to fix it for very long time and just now im getting it correct like maybe every 5 tries
Thank you very much, what do you mean when you say shoulder-width trucks, are you talking about a long or narrow wheelbase, thank you
Nice mention of Ronnie. Legendary for sure, met him twice and was the coolest dude ✊✊
Great video
Epic tip! Believe me I've watch at least 10 videos on this trick and still haven't got it. The tech deck is a great way to show how to do it. When I 360 flip on a tech deck it flips with a heel flip instead, which makes more sense to me. How can you put pressure on your toes and make it kick flip. On my real board, I get close then complicate it in my head and then get no where near. They typically do a 360 shov which you pointed out. I’ll let you know when I stick it..could be years.. But someday I will! Land a 360flip
You got it!!
Board width is everything. It determines your foot placement
Can you do a how to pressure flip video for us old 90's guys... Maybe a wood vs everslick demo....thanks guys
Skating 39mm since 93'
Ted and I can't do them but we've got friends who can 😂😀
Ugh, I never liked the pressure era
Super easy. Your back foot goes into the back pocket of the board, dead center in the concave, your front foot does absolutely nothing, It's all in your back foot...you press down with the tip of your toes in between that concave and what makes it flip is actually jumping up, the pressure from the tip of your toes and jumping up Causes the board to Flip, try to stay dead center. Good luck
🔥
mantap ❤
I've never heard anyone mention board width either 🤔
I haven't tried treflip on different width of the board I been just skating size 8 for a while now so I can't tell
Im becoming a Scientologist to improve this particular flip
Hmmmm idk if scientology would help skateboarding but let me know what you've discovered
Зришь в корень! Спасибо бро, все по делу
what 'bout shoulders? I need to fix that 'cause my shoulders go into body varial
If can post somewhere and let me look !!
!!!
Thats could explain why fakie tre flip is much easy , because the scoop is backward.
Yes and our other video one fakie tre explains that
if yu can do toe push ups you can treflip
what is toe push up???
@@2FTSK8 i mean to say if you have strong toes especially big toes you have the micro muscles to flip the board. i noticed when trying to do it late in age again. my toes got tired.
@@williambo5989 oh I see... for me my ankle got really tired real quick and I can only try tre for like 30 times and can't do it anymore
Yea, another unmentioned little fact - not only the pop but that little back foot toe-flick with the ankle AFTER it pops. I always had trouble with that part of the technique
after a certain age you got to have those ups. almost levitating in the air hang time.
I landed it almost every time for a day and lost it
Why do you think you lost it?
Change your board......change your trucks.....wtf 😂
If your set up is no good ... Treflip would be 10 times harder... Seen people never make it cause they follow the trend n buy bigger boards
