  • So the grass took about 7 days to germinate. What you see here is about 7 days on from that. Plenty of germination. I am very interested to see how thick the rye grows and to know if I'll have enough coverage to hide the brown town during winter.
    Thanks again for watching :)

    Keep going mate, Finally I’ve found a RUclipsr that’s starting from grassroots. like you l have just started experimenting with ryegrass and I’m liking how my grass is progressing. However There’s not much information about ryegrass for beginners. Your Channel has already answered quite a few of my queries and I’m looking forward to the progress in your yard over time. It’s also giving me encouragement to keep going on with my yard, Thanks again And good luck, i’ll be watching👍

    Good video mate. I'm melbourne based and my couch is hideous through winter. I might do a different couch or this rye if it turns out good.

      Thanks mate. The rye has been great fun this winter. As my first attempt there is a lot of room for Improvement. Better than watching the couch go brown thats for sure

    Great vid mate, You have given me confidence to do an over sewing project next winter. I'm a bit luckier, live up in Brissy but the cost to spray it out is a bit of a killer....Monument's over $200. Keep up the awesome vids mate. Cant wait to see how it goes after the Scotty hits it.

    Lawn's coming along nicely mate, well done. Missed the dishlickers, are they barred from the new lawn? All the best, Brian.

      Yeah mate, they were banished to the house for a fortnight, big tough Kelpies didn't seem to mind though.
      Hopefully it holds up to their usual shenanigans

    Can you scarify the couch in March and load up on Rye overseed?

  • @v8soarer1991
    @v8soarer1991 3 года назад +1

    Give it till you first month of growth.
    Then over seed again, roll it in with the reel roller.
    Mine has Buffalo, kikuyu, Couch
    Buff just dont bother, Kik was average, Couch came up the best in my rye overseed for this year.
