To be honest more people are going to look into Plini after the Doja Cat performance, that's prog metal being put right in the spotlight which doesn't happen often if at all.
Yes. I was never even angry that they used it. I was angry that they did not even ask plini's permission. Now that it has million views and much criticism THEN they actually start trying to right the wrong. Well better late than never

I JUST realized he uses the same melody at the end as he does in the somber solo earlier on. But the second time around it's totally triumphant. Been listening for years now.
I'm assuming your talking about the sharp transition right before the hook reprise? Guitar. Looking at Plini's tabs (on sheethappens), its a couple dead strums and then hitting a natural harmonic like your life depends on it.

The prog rock/metal/djent movement is elevating everything. The musicians are raising the bar in every way & it's just exploding into something wonderful.

can't believe after three years of obsessive listening i still hear new things in every song on this album. took me three years to hear that big 5:4 in the outro
Little message to musicians or nerd: Have you remarked that most of Plini's songs , or Plini's "vibe" come from the Lydian mode. It is obsessing... This song and the record are wonderful
Yeah it's very interesting (and beautiful) ! The verse in this song is really pure Lydian (at least the first part of it) as well as the last climax :)
I'm not the kind to proclaim every half-decent pop song 'awesome'. Instead, I save the word 'awesome' for songs like the ones Plini has been putting out. The perfect combination of rhythm, heaviness and melody in his compositions is a testament to his creative genius. As Vai proclaimed, the future of virtuoso guitar playing is secure.

I am literally in tears towards the end of the song. Your music brings meaning to my life! Amazing...
This song makes me feel like I'm gliding along a moving sidewalk, gradually making my way through a beautiful wasteland of increasing grandeur and entrancing destruction.
2 years ago I said this was the best song ever made. After listening to this song for the first time in 6 months I realized this is still true. I've never been more confident in such a bold statement before.

That bass tone changed me forever.
They played this live the other night. The bass sounded just as good in the room. :D So good!
I'm extremely jealous. I've yet to see plini live One day!
The amount of groove in this song makes me so happy. Troy Wright is a great addition to your music Plini. Absolutely beautiful
What about Simon Groove on the bass?
He already played on The End of Everything
That was Marco Minnemann ^^^^
He is talking about the bass player.....
Kevin Wade did Troy record live drums or is he just the touring drummer for plini?
