Speeding down the mountain on my bike last summer, through the green and stil a bit cold forest in the morning, with this song in my ears - one of the happiest moments of my life, seriously!
Finding my way back to this song is just what I needed right now. Part at 1:00 and forward is so powerful and filled with emotions, it makes me excited for what life has in store, I wanna get up tomorrow morning and be the best version of me I can
Duuude same here. Flatout 2nd through top of 6th run on an on ramp to an open section of the I-5 was so satisfying. Felt like i got my eagle globe and anchor AGAIN😂😂
This song is unreal. If this don’t doesn’t put you in a good mood, idk what will. Well, I’m sure you could think of many things lol, but you get the idea.
In the official tab there is only 29% of the frettboard used (42 notes out of 144 on a 24 fret 6 string guitar) for this song. 42 different fretted notes to achieve this masterpiece. Aaron is simply an amazing musician and his music is on another level. Definitely works magic with so many little. My favorite contemporary artist by far.
I'm not usually one for instrumental albums, but this is going to be one of my favorite albums this year. I can't stop listening to this....those melodies!! The tone is phenomenal!
Tones are perfect and amazing use of sound stage, strongest release so far and if your track record is anything to go by, they will only continue to get better! Great job
What an irony, this album is so good I can only describe it by saying I have no words, through music a lot of feelings are born in every single one of us, same thing that happens with emotions it's such a complex and beautiful impact that you can't completly define it with words, there's a quite famous quote out there that says "Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything" and that is so true, music is amazingly beautiful, it brings joy to our souls in a unversal language which I'm glad to be able to experience. Keep it up Intervals!
+Michael Ragan Definitely intentional. The hi-hats come first and then some splashes do come in shortly after, so you guys were both right. Its Travis Orbin though, literally every hit that fucker makes serves a purpose.
+Michael Ragan Definitely hihats. Travis Orbin is a clever guy like that - he will put something in, like striking the slightly-open hats, on a drag-beat after 2, in a four count, and make you wonder if it was a mistake, until you hear him repeat it live because ... you ready for this? It's how he wrote it on paper. And since he plays FROM sheet music, and since he's an amazing drummer, this is the sort of little extra "simple can be more" nuances I love about him. Travis Orbin can do crazy impressive stuff with his feet at 13/16, but he can also add in little simple things (like a hi-hat smack) somewhere that it stands out with artistic flair.
+Drink Juice I was referring to a joke made by a friend of mine towards Aaron a while back. Aaron replied with the definition of tact. pretty funny stuff.
Finally! Listened to all the songs, you're a beast man, thanks so much! :D Been waiting for this in particular and i'm glad it turned out to be one of the best, so many emotions and twists nice!
All the songs on this album are soooooo damn good, but this one, this song is just something else. Ughhh, the song writing improvement on this album is mind blowing. Album of the year right here!
Top Quality, so surreal sounding and perfect, needs to be considered as a longer take and more bass and drums hey idk I feel this song could go very far
Jesus Chriiiist. This is undeniably the best Intervals song ever! (In my opinion, of course) The feels just hit right in the heart, and the riffs are just hnnng. I'm gonna get this album so hard.
+Joel Moore your profile picture suggests you're of the age range 12-14...how does this qualify you to have great taste in music?? Are you a musician, could you even replicate half the riffs in this song? If not quit trolling, shut the fuck up and let people that actually have great taste in music comment about the music they enjoy.
The first time I listened to this album I was surprised that another song came afterwards, especially with that "middle of the album" sounding riff. But I'd say the Plini solo toward the end of Libra makes it a solid finisher
So I just heard this Intervals tune since I've heard the last with growl, and fell so much in love again (as anno with The Space Between) that I went on buying and came back to like each individual track - and ready to go to see you live in Newcastle in couple weeks time !! SO STOKED!!! Well done you!!
It's so awesome seeing all the little instagram guitar snippets Aarons been posting for months finally turning into top class tracks, that lead melody is gorgeous
So glad Marshall decided to go instrumental again. Couldn't listen to AVW until the instrumental release. I have absolutely nothing against clean vocals, but it was like giving Scale the Summit a vocalist. Both bands being equally talented in my opinion, but neither necessitate a vocalist.
I'll be blunt, overall I'm not a gigantic fan of the EP as a whole. But this song in particular is absolutely one of the best Intervals songs I've ever heard. Got chills listening to it! Good job Aaron.
+Rob Angst are we listening to the same songs though?Everything he writes is highly melodic and has some of the nicest melodic voicing's I've ever heard in composition.
chris b Took another listen to the whole album (I was training when I played through it last) and I see the melodies now. Dumbass me. I suppose the lighter tone the whole album takes is just different. I prefer the heavier older stuff, but this has its place and is quite gorgeous, like smoking weed with your buddies, not exactly going for a deadlift PR.
This album is one of my favourite albums ever. Every track has something extremely special about it. Will be playing this album off & on through my entire life, or until Intervals releases something better.
This reminds me of the end of Mordecai, if BTBAM decided to completely go to town instead of keeping it mellow. The phrasing on this entire album is phenomenal. Intervals, I love you.
is intervals back to being an instrumental band again? if so i'm glad! their music never needed any vocals! this is definitely one of my favs on the album! standout song!
Speeding down the mountain on my bike last summer, through the green and stil a bit cold forest in the morning, with this song in my ears - one of the happiest moments of my life, seriously!
I used to have a five mile bike ride to and from work. This entire album made the trip work.
That sounds amazing for this
I’ve been practicing at gym with this song and I’ve never felt so energetic and awesome lmao
Seriously! Just got back from a ride to the skatepark on a nice spring night. Best damn mood jams.
sounds like bliss brother, ride safe 🤘
can't believe this is 5 years old. where has the time gone
Listening to intervals
9 now 😛
Wow, this one is definitely a standout track. Amazing album so far.
I think they all standout lol
chris b True, this is just one of my favorites
Fable, Libra and Meridian are key tracks imi
Wow, this is one standout comment. great words so far.
Oh man, I've been listening to this album since it was released, and I still get chills every. Single. Time.
This one of my favorite winter 🥶 songs. I don't know why it just reminds me of winter.
Finding my way back to this song is just what I needed right now. Part at 1:00 and forward is so powerful and filled with emotions, it makes me excited for what life has in store, I wanna get up tomorrow morning and be the best version of me I can
I'm so happy The Shape of Colour is instrumental! Now the story it puts in my head can be different every other day I listen to it.
Man, I NEED to hear this one live. This song is just so good for the soul. Uplifting.
This song feels like victory
best track on the album imo
Agree;)
lol no way that goes to Libra. Plini fucking also owns so motherfucking goddamn hard.
@@NessNT yes libra i think is still superior
Thanks Lyle
1:00 came on when I hit the highway on ramp, most epic acceleration I have ever done
Whenever I listen to intervals I punch it haha
i think at 1:33 i'd punch it
Duuude same here. Flatout 2nd through top of 6th run on an on ramp to an open section of the I-5 was so satisfying. Felt like i got my eagle globe and anchor AGAIN😂😂
So glad i finally found it, heard it in a Lyle Rath video. Lovely!
Absolutely beautiful
One of the most beautiful things about the music is the happiness that it's giving to people, just read the comments for proof! 🤘
This came across my Pandora station when I was driving home, through what was left of Hurricane Matthew. Literal tears. This song is beautiful.
This whole album is gold but this is definitely the best one.
This song is unreal. If this don’t doesn’t put you in a good mood, idk what will. Well, I’m sure you could think of many things lol, but you get the idea.
So much emotion, despite the absence of vocals. That chorus absolutely blows my mind every time - LOVE!
How epic level is this?
+Jason LovesABR Vegeta it's over 9,000!!
+chris b Nah mate it's over 9.000.000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+chris b haha
I loved that serie, Memeball Z
+Hubert Rapinat This is one of the particular instances that requires it : divided by zero !
Meridian my favorite song
There is no song that makes me smile and jam out like this one does, it touches my soul
He nails the balance between technical and quality songwriting, not showing off the whole time. Each song has a good feel to it.

Well said! :)
ur mom gay
This song sounds so adventurous! It's definitely my favorite, can't wait to see you live on the 28th.
I remember hearing the main riff on his instagram, i just let those 15 seconds replay on and on... so damn good
The wammy part... My ring tone for several years. It takes me a while to answer because.... Listen to it!😂
Those random hi-hat hits at 0:18 threw me off guard.. I wonder if that was intentional. Amazing album btw! easily my favorite Intervals release
+Michael Ragan I don't think those were hi hats, I think that might have been either a splash or a sorta china. I'm leaning towards a splash though
+trigga2295 Nah I'm pretty sure it's an open hi-hat. Either way.. still interesting haha
Lmao yes very xD
+Michael Ragan Definitely intentional. The hi-hats come first and then some splashes do come in shortly after, so you guys were both right. Its Travis Orbin though, literally every hit that fucker makes serves a purpose.

It sounds like victory, as my cousin put it. I'm obsessed with this track. Damn!
We're gonna make it, bros.
Can't wait for the tabs to be on Ultimate Guitar!!!
ever heard of songsterr? much more worth your time
+Drink Juice I was referring to a joke made by a friend of mine towards Aaron a while back. Aaron replied with the definition of tact. pretty funny stuff.
NIKKOxTHExNARWHAL i could tell it was a joke but i was sill advising songsterr just in case you didnt know
Finally! Listened to all the songs, you're a beast man, thanks so much! :D Been waiting for this in particular and i'm glad it turned out to be one of the best, so many emotions and twists nice!
+Andrea Gaetani Seriously!
It reminds me of a guitar hero game where the cute anime character pops up and is like "GOOD JOB!"
This song...with this I believe I can be or do anything. Thank u so much
Dethklok Radio on Pandora by SiriusXM. It sounds nothing like dethklok but I’m so grateful I’ve discovered this track and this band.
Jesus Chriiiist. This is undeniably the best Intervals song ever! (In my opinion, of course) The feels just hit right in the heart, and the riffs are just hnnng. I'm gonna get this album so hard.
The drums are just absurbly good, as with everything in this track
Incredible instrumental track. Intervals is an underrated band that needs more exposure! Love you guys
I've just got to this album and this song makes my eyes wet. Can't wait till the borders are open to go somewhere with this
To all of the people saying they don't like this. You have no taste in music. This is fucking awesome!
+internetwarrior666 Maybe you just have a shitty taste in music compared to them?
This is your response.
+Joel Moore your profile picture suggests you're of the age range 12-14...how does this qualify you to have great taste in music?? +Joel Moore you didn't, but if that's not what you meant why say it in the first place? great comeback though kid
No taste or different taste?
this cd is just perfect in every way great job Intervals!
Awesome gents, one of my new favorites! Excellent work all around...Rich Sayage at Savage Classical Guitar
I really like Libra, but I feel like this song would've been a better album finisher. I am a sucker for melodic fade outs!
The first time I listened to this album I was surprised that another song came afterwards, especially with that "middle of the album" sounding riff. But I'd say the Plini solo toward the end of Libra makes it a solid finisher
@@shanepartridge2744 I think that this was originally meant as the closing track but Aaron changed it last minute for some reason
So I just heard this Intervals tune since I've heard the last with growl, and fell so much in love again (as anno with The Space Between) that I went on buying and came back to like each individual track - and ready to go to see you live in Newcastle in couple weeks time !! It's so awesome seeing all the little instagram guitar snippets Aarons been posting for months finally turning into top class tracks, that lead melody is gorgeous
amo esta canción!!!!! es una de mis favoritas
I love your music and the energy you give on this songs, keep up the great work.
Mom look at this band I found on youtube! Their lead singer is an electric guitar!
So glad Marshall decided to go instrumental again. Couldn't listen to AVW until the instrumental release. I have absolutely nothing against clean vocals, but it was like giving Scale the Summit a vocalist. Both bands being equally talented in my opinion, but neither necessitate a vocalist.
I 100% agree
+Jacob Lynch Well said. The instruments convey the emotion and message of their songs all on their own. The vocals kinda got in the way.
My favourite so far!
See you in Fort Worth boys, since I couldn't figure out the website to order physical CDs I'll be buying the whole discography. Can't wait!
This song is life-medicine.
i'm fucking bawling this melody is so good
This song is fucking awesome
Heard this song on a twitch stream and I just had to find it. Glad I did!
this is my favorite intervals song. stay instrumental!
❤
I've replayed that fade out almost 10 times now
That start up at 1:17 fills me with so much hype.
love the atmospheric vibe in this song
When goes into the main melody bit at around 1:30 and holds that minor 2nd...that shit hits me different, ya feel?
Definitely my fav. track off the album. Great work.
1:02 , Yes please! Love that part.
Lovin' that Selkies chord progression!
This is my favourite from this album. Great album :)
this is the greatest song my ears have ever I love all intervals this is the top shred core
I'll be blunt, overall I'm not a gigantic fan of the EP as a whole. But this song in particular is absolutely one of the best Intervals songs I've ever heard. Got chills listening to it! Good job Aaron.
Jason LovesABR Oh okay!
+Jared Wilkerson I'm inclined to agree. It's just not as hard hitting OR melodic. This one though kills it.
+Rob Angst are we listening to the same songs though?Everything he writes is highly melodic and has some of the nicest melodic voicing's I've ever heard in composition.
chris b Took another listen to the whole album (I was training when I played through it last) and I see the melodies now. Dumbass me. wow what a track. Absolutely loving this Aaron!
very impressed with this band.
Outstanding guys!
awesome aaron
An absolutely amazing album
I can't stop listening to this.
WHY I HEAR THIS SONG ONLY NOW ??? Love the part from 1:02, masterpiece
By far the best on the album. This album as a whole actually took me two playthroughs before I liked it
Maybe the verses of 3:00 could have been recorded with the green Suhr? What at tone damn...
This music remember a Djavan's song called "Lilás"! Really it's very similar!
Perfect. Classic metal feel, complex riffs, upbeat attitude, I'm in love. Meridian, will you marry me???
So good.
This album is one of my favourite albums ever. Every track has something extremely special about it. Will be playing this album off & on through my entire life, or until Intervals releases something better.
reminds me of some uverworld song, nice track.
The minor second in the chorus is genius
absolute masterpiece
This reminds me of the end of Mordecai, if BTBAM decided to completely go to town instead of keeping it mellow. The phrasing on this entire album is phenomenal. Intervals, I love you.
Monster track!
TONE
Song is so awesome
love it, feel good song af
This song right here
is intervals back to being an instrumental band again?
if so i'm glad!
their music never needed any vocals!
this is definitely one of my favs on the album!
standout song!
Beautiful S2
