- Hey guys! It was finally time to breakdown my kit and change out my drum rug. My old one had started to rip and tear where my pedals were and overall just needed to be replaced. This is something a little different for my channel but I hope you enjoy this video!

Meinl should give you a free replacement rug. I just use a regular wool throw rug for years at home, never wore out.

A friend had gone through 3 different rugs under his drums since they would shift and curl and get annoying ridges in them, but for some reason he always ended up having the same pattern. I asked if he bought them in bulk 😂

Never knew a drum rug was a thing. But I play trumpet, so....
U guys don't have a rug for that?!? 😮 lol jk yeah drum rugs are big. Most importantly, they prevent the drums from slipping away while u wail on them. Also, they prevent the drums from scratching the floor (but who really cares about THAT, right?
