Great video Brooke! I wish this was a top ten or twenty. Great picks. I would have loved to hear you jam Hot For Teacher or anything by Neil Peart. Keep 'em coming!❤😊
That was a great video Brooke !!!! They are all great songs. One of my faves is.. where eagles dare from Iron Maiden. But your right, there are a billion to pick from. Have an awesome day!!! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Great picks, as soon as you said the tom groove was the chef’s kiss, I knew it was Tusk! Such an underrated song. Plus when that bass comes in…. Oh sooo good.
I love your work!! Your choices are awesome, as I've come to expect from you over the years. Please keep these coming when you have the opportunity. Rock On Rock Angel!!!
That's a very good choice but the drummer is actually Lee Kerslake. It's very common to think it's Tommy Aldridge because he's even credited on the album. Both of them are great. I really like the first few albums by the band that was supposed to be named "The Blizzard of Ozz".
HELL yeah. I'm proud of myself for recognizing all of these within a few moments. I don't think it's possible to make a top 5 drum intros list without Rock and Roll I really wish I had *any* musical ability at all. I'm so glad that I'm getting my kids into music at an early age... and that I've finally bit the bullet and started taking lessons, no matter how embarassing and frustrating it is to be a beginner at 46. All of which is to say: I absolutely love listening to musicians work their magic! Thank you so much for making the world more full of music!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! It’s great when you interact once in awhile. Loved all the choices. Although when you said Fleetwood Mac I thought for sure, and was hoping, it was going to be Hypnotized which also has a great intro. That being will you PLEASE post a cover of it. As always you’re amazing.
Loved them all. Especially Rosanna, I really like the video Jeff made explaining how he mixed several grooves to come up with that classic, Fool in the Rain being my favorite of the mix! Rock on! 🤙
Now that was a fun video and I enjoyed you talking to us about your favorite song intros which by the way your picks were classic hits to the max, now I will say the one intro you played i said to myself that’s Toto but I just couldn’t remember the song until you said it was Rosanna and I sad to myself i should have known that anyways this was a great video and you did an excellent job on all the intros, catch you on the next video Brooke peace ☮️ out ✌️
Hello There Brooke.. Very Good to See & Hear you & hope you're doing Great as well...Anyways, Have to say I Love all of your selections & along that, My fav was Zeppelin's "Rock & Roll"...They always Stand Out & also Aerosmith's "Walk this Way"...Anyways, Again...Nice Going Player!!!!! *******
I remember when Tusk came out. There was something about Mick Fleetwood working with a college marching band and that was the impetus behind how that intro came into being. Cool video Brooke. Nice to see some of your insights on drumming. As always, good to hear from you again, too.
Been following ya since you were abt 13 and its great to see how you have progressed. It warms my heart to see young people playing the music I grew up with being a child of 1960.
...and I can't go without mentioning the enduring drumming in the Melissa Etheridge song, "I Could Have Been You" Would love to hear/see you play that! Love your talent Brooke C
Some of my favorite drum intros Brooke. >>>> When the levee breaks, Take the money and run, Rock and roll, The Spirit Of Radio, Anthem, Lakeside park, Face up,
I loved this style of video from you. You should do a lot more like this. Great to hear you actually talking. That's rare in your videos. You did a fantastic job. Great video. ❤
Hey Brooke, love them all but the Deep Purple intro really rocked! Love your drumming so much! Wondering if you will be in a band again - loved you in Plush. Keep on rockin'!
NEEDS MUCH MORE COWBELL Brooke! LOL. Seriously though...........being a huge RUSH fan,I'd LOVE to see either Jacob's Ladder or Natural-Science! Keep on ROCKIN IT Brooke!
To see your choices make me hopeful for your generation young lady. Not to mention your technique is very smooth. Ron Wilson's wipeout is always one I play when reminiscing.
Would love to hear you do anything from Overkill… they are a little heavier than your normal from what i’ve heard, but I know you could definitely handle it with no problem!! So many choices!😉
Great to hear your voice...and i am sure the list is incomplete but there is nothing stopping you from playing and explaining why certain tracks are unique...
"C H A S I N G S H A D O W S" - Deep Purple . . . Driving, Tribal, Relentless Syncopated Groove. Appreciate your personable engagement with listeners. 🫧 Thoughtful, expressive commentary...adding deeper dimension to presentations 🫧 Keep IT Goin' ~ Jay
I waited for the drum-intro from "American band-Grand funk railroad". And there is something else I wish you show your drumming to a PORCUPINE TREE-song. You are fantastic !!!!!
Pain Killer and Hot for Teacher! 🔥🤘🏻❤️

Right on, I was thinking Where Eagles Dare as well. 🇨🇦⚡️
Great five! No way to argue any of your choices!
Above and beyond reproach ‼️‼️ You are the rock Goddess ‼️‼️🎵
Great job! You have the Rosanna down perfectly. Most don't give the ghost notes their proper due.
That's why I love Brooke's drumming, she gets all the little subtleties and complexities that most people don't notice
Actually Rosanna was slightly wrong, she added an extra bass drum.
@@mikkeykottak And missed some ghosts on the snare too
Great picks, as soon as you said the tom groove was the chef’s kiss, I knew it was Tusk! Such an underrated song. Plus when that bass comes in…. Oh sooo good.

Nice list, Brooke! I’m a huge fan of The Ocean by Zeppelin, even though the is playing with him, Bonham just commands the song right from the jump.
You are truly talented and really beautiful
Tusk was the first Fleetwood Mac song I heard and the only one I knew for a while. My brother loved it and played it over and over.
