Hi,,,actually i wanna pursue "MD in aerospace medicine" which i can get admission into the same in next month but i wanna know opportunities once i came out with MD in aerospace medicine,,,so if u have any idea about opportunities plzzz may i know from u,,,i have done MBBS(in INDIA) n cleared the exam to enroll into the "MD in aerospace medicine"(in INDIA) n i am originally from INDIA,,,,
I am dear friend I am .. I am trained in internal medicine and practicing as a internist but my heart is set on space medicine . I am on visa and it’s hard for me to get into a program but I won’t stop until I do 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@akkis3090 I'm going to be an intern next year and will be hopefully enrolling to become a specialist. Do you think starting by another clinical speciality (let's say internal medicine) and practicing for a while would be a good way of accessing a space medicine program?
@@laracroft6623 Hii , yeah . Actually they want you to train in IM , EM and other other specialities and have some work experience . So yea that totally works ..
I’m SO happy there’s an up and coming field for Astro Medicine!!!! I was literally thinking about it for the longest time if we were even in a place in which Space Medicine would be allowed to expand with people backing it! - So whenever they get that Moon base up and running you think they’ll conduct larger experiments on how medical applications fair? I think setting up a medical lab where future Dr.Crushers could test out things like mock surgeries would be vital to continuing the research. In fact if one were to have the lab be based on the moon, but was able to make orbital trips around the moon to still have the zero-G, but would be able to orbit around and come back down the moon base it would be far easier to run continuous experimentation in zero g around a smaller celestial body making it more possible to switch out supplies, refuel with greater ease/leeway.
Space born babies would jump like forgs? Can't we create an artificial environment just like as earth and subsequently do 1/6 gravity trainings I have read that Darwin once said survival of the fittest ?🤓
This is a topic that makes me feel alive.
