Thanks to Marta Cortesão, I am able to find ideas for my research to seek Life outside Solar System. A simple talk, that drives me to understand a little more about how Life emerged in the beginning. 😇

Some astrobiologists think that we might not recognize alien life if we found it. If that is true, could things on earth be alive that most people think just undergo chemical reactions like crystals?
It is not unthinkable, as there are many different definitions of what life is exactly. A virus for example, it can not replicate without a host cell and does'nt really have metabolic processes, therefore under one defitition it would not be considered alive. If you take the ability of growth and replication as a defining factor of life. A Virus very well might be considered as beeing alive, because oncce it has taken over a cell it can replicate its own DNA. So because of the lack of a clear definition, there could be a lot of things we have not found yet on our planet. I am no expert however, so please take my word with a grain of salt ;)
I wish to become an astrobiologist. Maths is tough for me. So can I avoid Maths and take Science (with informatic practices) in class 11 and 12 and then a degree in biology to become an astrobiologist ?
You get more time on your own to master math in college. I have a friend with an astrobiology degree and they did do college math, though not as much as a physics degree would require.
Very interesting discussion. I am always open to comment on my RUclips channel regarding microbes in low/zero gravity. Thx. Also, Space Medicine and Biology Visionaries on Facebook.
Library of Oral Health in Microgravity Space medicine? As in finding vaccines or cures for potentially harmful microbes in space? I've always wanted to be a medical scientist and astrobiology has always been a passion of mine. Is there a career choice that includes both of those?

There is only one small problem with analogizing our Planet with any other as far as how life emerges. We actually dont know how life emerged on this planet. Its far more complex than any human mind can grasp.Perhaps one day A.I. will figure it out for us.Maybe.
Yeah, but it doesn't have any water, oxygen, magnetic field, or any sort of ingredients for life, for life to occur you need the right chemistry and conditions, and the moon doesn't have any of that.
We dont have evidence that biogenesis happened multiple times and our kind of life is the only kind of life to have survive do we? If we do, then maybe
i am also very much interested in astrobiology. in mumbai we have research institute called INDIAN ASTROBIOLOGICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION [IARF]. they are providing an international diploma course.also there is anoher university called amity university . Amity university for astrobiology.
Pick a university with strong departments in at least 3 of the subdisciplines that form astrobiology and get the person in charge of your university/college to sign off on a custom degree plan that you design.
michael cintron I feel kinda bad tbh. Can you imagine having such a limited worldview that you can't and don't want to even imagine life existing elsewhere in the universe and ignoring blatant evidence? With how massive the known universe is, how can anyone even think to believe that we're alone? My future profession literally depends on aliens existing lmao.

Wow what are your ideas and research? Have you published any papers or talks on the same yet? Please share more info if you can

What if the aliens we can't find are from the planet we can't find - and our little bug eyed buddies don't want us to find it? 🤔
We’re going to find life out there🚀❤️

Where are u from?
nope
The most fantastical subject👌

Such what?

Wonderful
Wonderful! 👏👏👏
Motto: look for water. I think some text prefer Europa planet as well and Mars.
In this pristine biosphere that is so perfect for life, should we not have multiple unrelated species on earth if life was common elsewhere?

I have same doubt 😭😭😭
Yeah u can .. just pursue a degree in whatever subject you like ..astrobiology is connected with all sciences

I want to be a 'astro biologist' or 'astro physicist'.. Love 'space' very much..❤❤
Which one is good?? Astro biologist or astro physicist

Subjective. You don't know if you're in a simulation, therefore, the starting point is irrelevant
By the way moon is also in the goldilocks zone

Thanks to let me know more about my filed
Doesn't the fact that biogenesis is only known to have happened once here on earth "kind of, sort of" provide evidence that life is extremely rare?

Unless God intended for there to be life on other planets, then Earth is the only life containing planet in our universe. ISAIAH 45 verse 18.

Oh!....But God is no limited creator....as Jesus said to a mystic of the Catholic Church, Maria Valtorta, there IS life on other planets!...
Yeah um that's not what Isaiah 45:18 says...
@@lizardqueen99 hey, did you get a degree or something ?
You misinterpreted that verse. It merely regulates a flase concept of growth and expansion
