Once again you provided Great Information with this comparison. I enjoy the detail that you go into. Great help, Great video. Looking forward to when you tare down the x530 engine. Keep up the good work!
Hours on the x530 in this video has a little over 300 on it. Much too low for a catastrophic failure. I purchased used and after having it for a while I saw signs that it was neglected. I’m hoping to take the motor out and see if I can fix it. If not, I may replace it if I can find a good deal on a new motor.
I haven’t noticed any difference in power but it does seem to run smoother. That could be because it’s new though. The battery tray looks to be the same size but the connections are different. The older x530 has heavier terminals and connectors compared to the newer x590. Could change the connectors but I’m not too worried about it. Maybe when it comes time to replace the battery.
I have never messed with the PTO on any of the X500 series tractors. Someone else commented that it may not actually be the engine on my 530 that is the issue, but possibly the PTO. That’s where I will start once I’m ready to begin working on it. Unfortunately, can’t help you out with your 590.

Good job! Well done. Thank-you.

Does it have more power and mow faster?...I agree with you on the battery. Can you fit the 51R in the 590?
