I think Thao is right if your heavy invested into apples ipad app then forget about switching I am samsung fan boy. and I have to be honest the apps for the tablet aren't the best they are good but just not the best but you learn to find work around but other then that that Samsung All Day bro. you get at least 3 times more bang for your buck and every other area when it comes to the tablet. Samsung Dex takes the Samsung tablets into worlds the iPad can't even think of.

Although you cannot do everything and it isn't quite perfect, I do believe that you can pretty much replace your laptop at this point if you get creative with the occasional work around. I understand that there are simple ways to get Visual Studio code to work and unless you are coding Windows forms using C# you can use a tablet for just about anything now. I can even print by opening a document and using NFC to tap and print to my color laser printer from my Samsung s20 Ultra 12GB. I imagine that I will be able to do the same using this tablet. I will also be able to sign documents, use Microsoft Office if I want to (I use Google Docs myself), modify .PDF's, etc. Working on and saving things in the cloud has changed everything. I even have Visual Studio code and Linux, Android store support, etc. on my Google Pixelbook 2 (2018). I rarely use my Windows PC for anything now. If I need my Windows PC I could probably easily find a way to remote desktop in. Anyway, take care.

I have the Tab S6 and ir works really well for basic use and school stuff. I will urge caution when using it on the go though, the stand isn't the sturdiest.
I got an Infiland case and it's awesome for the Tab s7plus. I have access to desktops in the library or at work in case I just want to use a real computer (there are certain settings in Outlook, for example, that are better to navigate through on PC.) But other than those few instances, the Tab s7plus works really well for school. The split screen and app pairing features, along with the screen, build, and expandable storage makes it amazing!

Yeah and they should ditch google. Its the reason i switched from the tab s6 to the ipad pro. Got tired of google always wanting to know everything. But I do really miss the samsung tab. Softwarewise and hardware samsungs tablet are way ahead of Apple I noticed. After switching I realised how much these reviewers hype up the ipad pro. Yes its great if you need specific apps like lumafusion, procreate, pixelmator, but other than creator apps, samsung is wayyy ahead. Byebye oled screen, dolby atmos, Dex, stylus that can actually be used to navigate and close apps...... i miss you all 😂
Finally someone made a Dex computer setup instead of clunky ole Windows I know I'm in the minority but Dex is just so intuitive and makes things way easier (I'm using my Galaxy s10 and tab s6)
@@Fantasmamuerto No I want to use a mobile device because it's way more convenient I don't have to transfer files or anything like that everything from photos to videos to accounts games phone calls and messages etc are just there and it's intuitive unlike windows the s10 is still plenty powerful and 8gb of ram and 128gb of expandable storage is plenty for at least 2 more years or so it's kinda like the Nintendo switch you're on the go doing your thing then when you get a chance to sit back at home (or wherever) with a monitor and some peripherals you're all set
This is just the most perfect Samsung DEX setup I've seen in my life. The USB hub is extremely useful, the keyboard and mouse are wireless and the huge screen really gives you the feeling that you're using a windows pc. This is a great setup if you wanna use an android instead of using windows since windows is extremely buggy while android is way more stable from my experience.
Why I didn't like this video along time ago is beyond me. The Anker Hub is something all tablet users should be interested in. Recently I was just looking for a cord to attach my tablet to a projector then lord and behold the YT Search Gods brought me back to your video. Not only that, I missed my headphones as a posed to doing all the swiping and tapping just to hook up to Bluetooth. This makes things so simple. Thanks Thao.

Nice video. I'm thinking about getting myself an upgrade on a setup consisting of a mid-range phone, high-end tablet which doubles as a desktop cpu through dex, and a mid-laptop. It's crazy how powerful tablets have gotten, and they kinda make laptops seem unnecessary. It's also crazy that it's possible to survive with just a high-end smartphone through DeX. Hi Thao! I just started with my first tablet (actually, it's more of my daughter's) and I got the Realme Pad since I'm on a tight budget. I was hoping I could get the same setup as you have but more into the inexpensive kind of version. I've scoured the internet for a compatible USB C hub but can't seem to find one. I can get the other stuff, like the TV, mechanical keyboard, and mouse but it's the USB C hub that's really kind of hard to find. Please help! I'm from the Philippines by the way. Thank you! Hello, thanks for a great channel, which I've only just come across. I'm looking to buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Tablet or the Apple Air 4 and appreciate your in depth reviews. The one item that looks like a real game changer is the ANKER USB C Hub which you use in this video, even though their website says its only for use on Apple Products. I notice that you do not show it in the 8 months later review of the S7, has there been any problems using it on the S7 or all ok?

Adobe did join samsung though? Adobe rush is available on all samsung devices and is more optimized than even on iPads and iphones
Check on samsung website. There are some of adobe apps that work good on tab and dex mode

Hi Thao! I just started with my first tablet (actually, it's more of my daughter's) and I got the Realme Pad since I'm on a tight budget. I was hoping I could get the same setup as you have but more into the inexpensive kind of version. I've scoured the internet for a compatible USB C hub but can't seem to find one. I can get the other stuff, like the TV, mechanical keyboard, and mouse but it's the USB C hub that's really kind of hard to find. Please help! I'm from the Philippines by the way. Thank you! Hello, thanks for a great channel, which I've only just come across. I'm looking to buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Tablet or the Apple Air 4 and appreciate your in depth reviews. The one item that looks like a real game changer is the ANKER USB C Hub which you use in this video, even though their website says its only for use on Apple Products. I notice that you do not show it in the 8 months later review of the S7, has there been any problems using it on the S7 or all ok?

By looking at your mouse, I would recommend getting a mousepad if you don't already have.
Deskpads are also an option, but its a look one has to like.

I love your vids. I am buying my wife the S7+ as a Valentine's Day present. She loves Apple, has an iPad mini and IPhone 11... I love Samsung... and after watching your videos she was convinced that upgrading her iPad to the S7+ was the best idea ever! Lol. (She originally wanted an IPad Pro haha)
