I found it to be a very unfair review of the Galaxy Tab. It seems like he barely looked at her for a while. That device is very worthwhile. He doesn't know that tip about the s-pen
The projector is pricey and unlikely to drop much in price and I can't really find much of a use case yet, so it might work perfectly but it still seems gimmicky as it doesn't have much use. The charging pad on the other hand solves a problem traditional pads had, I was always against wireless charging, as to me it didn't make much sense that you had to line it up perfectly each time, I used to think, well if that's needed, than you might as well connect a wired charger. This pad does the lining up for you. If anything, my only concern is that it is too small, I would make it the size of a bedside table, so I could just drop the phone anywhere on the table and it would still charge
@@DanielSultana it's $999 and you've got phones that are going for over $1400 these days. So I think the projector is perfect at its price point and usability. Something like that, if adopted by the public, will obviously drop significantly in price as technology advances, so we can only hope.

tbh, does it even matter how is the battery life on it? I mean you are practically using it when stationary, 80-90% times it can live like a plugged in device (a wireless charging pad for it would be super cool). So a battery life of like 2hrs SOT should be more than enough.
Interesting how Marques didn't highlight the battery life on the nifty gadget. I've never been so impressed with a projector. I thought it was gonna be a superfast hard drive bay before scoffing at which I was proven wrong rightfully so. I would keep my eyes on that.

The projector reminds me of those fake kickstarters that promised this, but clearly couldn't make. The fact that someone made this into reality is amazing.
I'm currently using the Tab S7, and although it doesn't have the AMOLED screen the plus version has, it is still a beautiful screen, and much more beautiful than my previous Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus. I've also managed to get it at a great price from Amazon for $499, which is why I opted to get the regular instead of plus. This is the best tablet I've ever had at such a great price, though the software in Dex mode is a bit buggy, but I only use it to play Minecraft on my TV screen via USB-C to HDMI, which this tablet is capable of, but the regular tablet mode is capable of many things, and am am a bit fond of the S pen, especially when using Sketchbook, one of the best free art apps out there.
When he starts explaining the concept of the projector, I was like “no way!” He proceeded to demonstrate how the projector work, I was like “this can’t be real!” I’m actually still in shock this technology is available today. It’s not just a thing in the movies.
@@bigmaxcc I agree with you, I don't really consider his videos as reviews, more like a showcase or entertainment or something. If I really want to find out about a product I'll look somewhere else. Like anything else, the view changes somewhat when you see it clearly. This is a 720p projector with the touch app and AOSP (Android, no google apps) for $1000.
Even though the fact that you can leave multiple devices on the same charging pad and have them all charged overnight is insanely helpful in its own right. Surprised no one is talking about it.
Definitely should've headlined with the projector! That's Tony Stark level tech and I'm excited to see what the future holds for that! I could see that being implemented all over people's houses in the futre as it gets cheaper/better.
I fully expect that projector to fit in my pocket 5 years from now. And if it doesn't and we just keep slapping cameras on phones then humanity isn't going that far...
Not gonna lie, I honestly thought about this touch screen projector thing. I knew it was possible by a sensor for detecting how much obstruction pointed to which place on the screen by the finger. It's still amazing how far we've come in Tech.
I remember seeing this video where someone has a necklace which projects onto a flat surface. That thing could be used as a touch screen. It was still in experimental development when I came across it.
That Hachi projector is really cool and really surprising, mainly because of how responsive it is. I might consider buying it. I have alot of flat surfaces that I'd love to see the projector be use on.

Things he missed about the Tab S7 - The SPen doesn’t need to be charged to be used - The SPen can magnetically attach to the top and side of the device - The SPen charges very fast less than a minute from 0 to 100 - The SPen comes in the box for FREE - Besides Android, the tablet also runs DEX which is similar to a desktop interface His past few videos doesn’t seem to be him reviewing things more like light glance overs saying the same details as every other “reviewer”
It's a nice tablet but overall i still think the ipad is better . The biggest problem of this one is Android . Not enough high quality professional apps , messy interface on tablet devices and tons of strange bugs and security issue . I usually hate Apple products and his market policy but the ipad is just too good . Even the cheaper one i think is better than the s7 only because everything work as intended from the start and you have tons of professional apps at your disposal . They should invest more in apps development and Google should make harsher quality and security controls on the play store .

I found it to be a very unfair review of the Galaxy Tab. It seems like he barely looked at her for a while. That device is very worthwhile. He doesn't know that tip about the s-pen
Not impressed with that charging pad, but DAMN THAT PROJECTOR!
@@starmorpheus i agree with you. its a good price, it has a whole phone plus a whole projector and the hardware to do the touch recognition build in, for less then a flagship phone. and there are no competitors yet wich means the price will most likely drop.
I'm sure Apple is going to take that charging Pad concept and will put it on steroids.
@@DanielSultana I find it really useful for keeping at home and in a backpack or suitcase, it's not a replacement for a phone of course. And as @Terox says, prices will drop significantly once competition arrives and more infrastructure is created
Me once I saw that projector: “the future has arrived “.
That thing is actually very old and has been available since many years in various forms. Usually as a mobile keyboard
Tony stark was right.
Same man that projected is so sick
It's been here for 6 years 😂
Same
I love how you choreographed placing the projector on the table, dimming the lights then casually swiping the projection as you were talking.
Not gunna lie, that projector make me feel like I live in the future.
How long does the battery last?
tbh, does it even matter how is the battery life on it? I mean you are practically using it when stationary, 80-90% times it can live like a plugged in device (a wireless charging pad for it would be super cool). So a battery life of like 2hrs SOT should be more than enough.
The future is now, old man xD
Interesting how Marques didn't highlight the battery life on the nifty gadget. I've never been so impressed with a projector. I thought it was gonna be a superfast hard drive bay before scoffing at which I was proven wrong rightfully so. I would keep my eyes on that.
The real cool thing is they made software use cases for it. Those kitchen and gym use cases were just amazing. Nice software final touch up

It's using TOF sensor and camera I guess
The projector reminds me of those fake kickstarters that promised this, but clearly couldn't make. The fact that someone made this into reality is amazing.
lol cicret bracelet
I think sony made one a couple years ago that didn't quite catch on
I'm currently using the Tab S7, and although it doesn't have the AMOLED screen the plus version has, it is still a beautiful screen, and much more beautiful than my previous Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus.
When he starts explaining the concept of the projector, I was like “no way!”
He proceeded to demonstrate how the projector work, I was like “this can’t be real!”

Things he missed about the Tab S7
- The SPen doesn’t need to be charged to be used
- The SPen can magnetically attach to the top and side of the device
- The SPen charges very fast less than a minute from 0 to 100
- The SPen comes in the box for FREE
- Besides Android, the tablet also runs DEX which is similar to a desktop interface
His past few videos doesn’t seem to be him reviewing things more like light glance overs saying the same details as every other “reviewer”
I'm using it right now. I thought it would be nice but I didn't know it would be this nice.
Because it is not a review. He said the reason it makes to this dope tech episode is the screen. He is highlighting the screen.
