- I completely underestimated this puzzle. The difficulty is incredible! It took me hours to solve it and yet it was great fun. Also, you are rewarded with something really beautiful. Overall there are 10 different wooden puzzle designs available.

Ah, Mark... I live in the north of England. I've heard about this so-called 'Sun' thing, too, but I've never seen the darn thing. I reckon it's a hoax, a fake, a phoney, just like Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and the current President of The United States of America.
I'm not an engineer - I'm just a rationalist/ realist/ atheist/ cyclist - so how do I go about discovering what this alleged gigantic ball of hydrogen (or whatever) looks like? Go outside? It's England! It's foggy! And cloudy! And dark! And raining!
There's no such thing as Sun, whatever the flat-Earth, flat-jigsaw conspiracy nuts may claim. ;-)

@@EleanorPeterson It is the bright white part of the sky on slightly less clouded days, but it does not at all look like the puzzle so it is not much help.

Seriously, it's absolute INCREDIBLE how the pieces are shaped and fit together. I would actually buy an LED plate and glue that thing on it.
I do jigsaw puzzles often and I'm pretty fast, 7 hours for a jigsaw puzzle like this is a REALLY good time, especially for someone who doesn't do jigsaw puzzle often
That final piece is always sooooo satisfying

But when I heard "Kickstarter campaign" I already knew it will cost a fortune to get a few planets 😅
It's almost always cheaper to get it in the kickstarter. Things like this a very very expensive to make, because of: 1. All the intricate pieces so different from normal puzzles (means someone has to literally make a program for the machines to make from scratch or near-scratch, for every planet), and 2. Those pieces are not thin pieces of cardboard like most jigsaw puzzles. This is a super high-quality puzzle. Materials are more expensive because it isn't just a thin sheet of cardboard (which is also cheaper and easier to cut out pieces for).
It is expensive. I nearly cried when I saw it cost almost US$600 for the complete set, and settled for $30 for the moon. But it is absolutely worth it because of the quality and considering the cost of production. After the kickstarter it will be more expensive, and for most (if not all) of them it says by how much

I like these type of puzzle's. I am not one to try to put it together all at once (spend 7 straight hours). I like to take my time and do a little at a time until it is complete even if it takes me months.

I got the moon, and I have a lot of fine motor control. I may not be able to do it, but shoot, I'll have a piece of art without being able to solve it anyway

Sehr schönes Puzzle. Mal ein klassisches mit interessanten Teilen zum setzten. Ich hätte warscheinlich auch ca 6 bis 7 Stunden gebraucht. Für ein normales 1000 Teile Puzzle brauch ich 6 Stunden. Dann bin ich fertig. Mit diesem hast du mein Nerv getroffen. Sehr schön. 🙂👍

What a beautiful puzzle. The hardest jigsaw puzzle I've ever done was a large all black puzzle with very similar pieces, just different enough that they wouldn't be able to fit with the wrong piece but were not very distinct. That puzzle took me 18 hours.

Someone needs to make one like this, but it's a pizza with a ton of absurd toppings. Could be really fun for kids to solve, and the different toppings would make sorting the pieces a little easier.
