Congratulations Mr Puzzle! You explained it incredibly well, better than I could have done myself! I hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks a lot for that great puzzle challenge Felix! Brilliant design! 😁👍
Looking forward trying your next design. Considering your personal rating is 9/10, I can't imagine what will deserve your highest difficulty rating. 😱🤔
😜😀
Well done on the design Felix, simple but very effective
Superb! Both of you.
Felix, I'm willing to bet if you had some custom engraved, as a numbered limited edition, they would be well received.
Brilliant. A plus for the effort to build a 3d printed top to show us better the solution
He must have a nice 3D printer, or at least they've evolved nicely, because 3D printed items used to look pretty terrible, but his piece looks like consumer grade quality. I would never guess it had been 3D printed at home.
@@OrthodoxAtheist This quality 3D printing has been available to consumers for a number of years though.
@@OrthodoxAtheist Consumer 3D printers have definitely come a long way. By contrast, the industrial 3D printers like the HP Multi-Jet fusion are absolutely bonkers. 3D printed plastics that can lift cars are straight up nutso (but awesome)
@@Calyx 5 or so years isn’t a very long time unless you’re like 12, it’s hard keeping up with all the new technology
Do you know what the funny part is? I have no intention of buying any puzzle that you demonstrate, but because of the way you talk and explain these puzzles I come back every time. You seem like a sincere cool guy. You radiate coolness. That's the reason why I keep watching.
Gerhard van der Wildt are you me?
Plot twist he uses a translator to talk for him
Did you know that puzzles are an anti-aging tool? Scientific studies have shown they keep your brain cells deteriorating .This is probably why small children love doing them so much , because their brain is thirsty for data !Obviously it cannot be too hard otherwise they will give up before solving it .It has proven to make people smarter than not bothering .
I’m considering buying this one and I’m conflicted on whether or not I should watch the video
If aliens someday invade Earth and hold our planet hostage until a human solves their alien intergalactic puzzle, Mr. Puzzle would save us all!
😂👍
And then they zap up his brain and upload the data contents for their future evil puzzling deeds.
So, it is interesting how this spectacular puzzle will work without gravitation
@@mekugi61 Well it wouldn't work at all. It would depend upon how strong any gravity available was vs the weight of the ball bearings but other than that you would be knackered opening the Titan sphere.
P
What a journey and satisfaction to solve it!
Still doable or too difficult?
From what country do you come? I cant inditify your accent.
If i remember correctly he hails from Germany
You made it so it's definitly doable.
Mr.Puzzle - NOTHING is too difficult for Mr.Puzzle. ;-)
I like the approach you took to the solution: logical thinking, weight, manufacturing technique, materials, cost to build, the designer etc.
When you get the note pad out it’s serious!
Brilliant solution and video. Very well presented. Possibly one of your best videos. Not because of the difficulty rather your presentation and explanation is very interesting. And the logic tree you theorized. I love cerebral challenges.
Happy Summer & puzzling!!
Pigeon Dragon - near the center of Germany. There are many different German dialects. I spent almost 2 years there, sadly I don’t speak German but when you travel around Germany there are noticeable differences in their language and English as well. Wonderful country and people as well. 🇩🇪
Such a good idea to print a piece so we could really understand how the puzzle works! Great video! :)
Came here from Chris Ramsays channel, he wasn't kidding when he said you did an excellent job explaining this puzzle. Great video!
Thanks! 😁
I was really intrigued for this video because of the 3D printed piece to allow better sight into what was occurring within the puzzle.
Great explanation and show Mr.Puzzle!
Fish Tacos that's because mr puzzle is the man! I've not watched another Chris Ramsay vid since I found this guy! Mr Puzzle is MR Logic, unlike Ramsay who just guesses and bashes and flukes his way through puzzles
I came here from Gordon Ramsay's channel.
I came here from Ramsay Bolton's torture chamber.
11:56 - when puzzle solving becomes a freestyle rap...
Gold!!
Lolol
Woah
oh wow i can't unhear it now
Most anticipated video of 2019
Congratulations! Your solution and explanation was flawless. I especially enjoyed the fact that you created that printed piece to illustrate the design. Considering the difficulty you had solving a device with the simplest amount of components, I believe this has to have been one of the most elegantly designed puzzles I have seen come across your desk.
When you know the solution, doesn't seem so difficult. But until you know it, good lord. I enjoy so much this episode. The way you explain the puzzles are very satisfying and in this case, the way you explain all the process is so nice and understandable... And, of course, the piece you made for us to see the mechanism. As always, well done!! That's why I enjoy your vids so much.
That's not at all what I expected the inside to look like, which is great as I love being surprised like that. I thought it was going to be some sort of hidden maze but ball bearings in a track does make a ton more sense.
Using a 3d printed model to show how it works is such an elegant way of explaining the hidden mechanism. I also really appreciate how you took the time to break down the steps of your problem solving technique; I've already found myself adopting those steps in my daily and work life but to have them bullet pointed like that is even better. "Keep on puzzling" takes on a whole new meaning when I think of it that way.
The word you want for "spinning machine" is "lathe". :)
Yes!
Yes! You can buy or make ball making attachments for lathes.
I love it when you say your introduction in a really upbeat happy tone, in fact it's one of the best parts of your video. It puts me in a good mood to watch your puzzle-solving skills which I admire and respect. And when you say "keep on puzzling" at the end it just kills me I love it!!!
Glad you were able to solve it! These videos are so much fun to watch
>external tools banned
>therefore can't use a magnet
Oh, silly you, you eat the magnet, by which it becomes an *internal* tool and you absorb the magical power of magnets!
There's people who implant magnets into their fingertips.
@i am trash till we make a wooden one for him.
Robert Mendez a wooden gun...
It may be internal, but not inside the puzzle
The system isn't ready for neurons this dense.
I love the 3d help. Never seen someone go through the time and effort to full explain a puzzle with a 3d printed replica of it. Awesome vid
This is the best Mr.Puzzle video so far in my opinion! I loved the explanation of his thought process
Any puzzle you can use logic and reasoning is a good puzzle. Good work figuring that one out!
It must be very gratifying for any puzzle designer/maker to have their work so thoroughly appreciated. It's fine if people buy something and just 'fiddle' their way to a solution, but it must be so much more satisfying to have someone like Mr Puzzle delving deep into the logic of the process so that people like me who are less involved in 'professional' puzzling can join in vicariously. :-)
The level of effort Mr Puzzle goes into to explain how it works. How can someone not appreciate his dedication!?
Loved the journey to the solution just as much as the solution!
Amazing that you printed a custom top so we could actually see the solution. Really enjoyed the step by step explanation as well. 👍👍
This is a totally brilliant puzzle. Saw this on CR's channel, and he mentioned you had an explanation video so came on over to check it out. I love all the subtle details, and the fact from the exterior it's totally symmetrical and sealed. To quote CR from another video it's like, "Here, have a ball. Small children and dogs play with them." *hours later all the adults are still playing with it* :D
I love it when you explain the mechanisms of these puzzles!
Awesome! We've been waiting for this for a month! Hehe. Congrats on completing it - onto the video!
This is one of your best videos ever!!
you solved another imposible puzzle and even gave us the perfect explanation to know how you deduce and solve every puzzle.
It's so clear how you explain the solving method, thank you Mr. puzzle
WOW when I thought your videos couldn't get any better you drop this awesome VIDEO. That's how you tackle a difficult PUZZLE. I love seeing the hardest puzzles, almost impossible, being solved. Boom you did it. WOW
I clicked back to 00:00 just to hear that happy "Mister Puzzle" part
I like the end! KEEEPPP ON PUZZLING
I think Felix really designed a smart puzzle. I hope he'll make more puzzles.
Love the juxtaposition of complexity and simplicity! Your videos are terrific.
Thanks!
That was very impressive! Thank you so much for sharing your thinking/logic process.
That 3D printed half was SO GOOD. Made it so much easier to understand and see.
This was amazing and cathartic! The solution was explained beautifully! Thank you!
Best episode in quite a long time, and not just because it was 5/5 difficulty. The way you explained your methodology of how you reached the solution was incredibly well done, and was more valuable than the solution itself.
Great demonstration! Thank you!
I freaking love you Mr. Puzzle. Thank you for this. It truly shows your experience and expertise.
That is a great design. Mechanically quite simple, but very difficult to figure out without seeing it.
Holy guacamole! I can't even begin to imagine how Mr. Ure thought of this puzzle. I can understand how Mr. Puzzle figured it out because he laid out his methodology step-by-step, but still, his ability to conceptualize what is going on inside a heavy, opaque metal sphere is mind-blowing.
That was absolutely magnificent. Thank you Mr Puzzle!
Beautiful explanation (and thanks for the 3D printed part), and one of the most simple and elegant puzzles ever (both in design and idea). I think this is what makes a great puzzle: simple rules and task, seems impossible to solve at first but once you got it very easy to understand.
Love the explanation and the cut out. So much easier to see what is happening!
Excellent!
I was looking forward to this video.
Thank you
Love the explanation of the mechanics of the puzzle. I'm glad you went above and beyond with an extra prop to get your point across.
After more than a month, now I can finally go to sleep.
So you solved it.
Well done 👏👏
Crazy puzzle. Thank you very much to show exactly what happens inside.
This is a perfect explanation video. I've never seen a clearer explanation of anything, puzzle or otherwise. Chef's kiss.
i was hoping there was a little goblin inside holding on to both pieces and you have to electrify/heat/freeze the puzzle to kill it and release its grip, oh well
😂😂
very clear explanation of method to solution 😃 👏👏👏👍
Absolutely perfect explanation of how to solve this. Thank you
I love these kind of videos from you. 3D printing just to help us understand is awesome!
"Stucking"....The only person in the world allowed to use that word in such a way and get away with it 🤣 Love your work!
I think it's still unsolvable even after your explanation 😂😂 so coool, congratulations! ❤️
I just watched a few of You videos and this one was by far the best. Great approach and explanation. Do more like that.
Real cool. I liked it, quite clear, well done.
you did a better job explaining this in English than I could have and it's not even your first language.
Dang that’s a crazy hard one nice job!
Excellent Mr. Puzzle. Thanks for detailed explanation and your perseverance.
I really liked this episode! Thank you Mr Puzzle for your explanations both of your method and the puzzld and even taking the time to make a prop.
Thanks!
dude you're at the top of the game. great walkthrough for people wanting to do high level solves for themselves but just don't know where to start, and an astonishingly easy to understand explanation of this puzzle with that 3d printed piece. mr. puzzle goes the extra mile
It's not necessarily "confirming" your "theories" but more "supporting" your "hypothesis". Great video anyway ^^ just a fellow German language nerd
Fantastic dedication Mr Puzzle!!
Watching you solve enough puzzles, I was able to figure out your approach, but it's still nice to see it laid out simply and plainly for us to understand. Great episode!
This is why Mr. Puzzle is here: To solve this puzzle so I don't have to.
Imagine a giant version of this puzzle where the ball bearings are actually two normal sized Titan puzzles.
😅
I'm glad you figured it out! Love your content!
Very nicely explained. Thanks
I love this german or skandinavian accent. Such wholesome english;)
It is a very hard German accent ^^ my fellow Landsmann has used this as charme however :)
Chris Ramsay conquered his nemesis “Excalibur” and Mr.Puzzle conquered his nemesis “Titan”
That's awesome Mr. PUZZLE.
Very cool. Nice clear explanation. Wonderful
Sometimes 2 balls can give you lots of trouble 😁
You mean... Like a unwanted child for example ?
Well, there's an easy solution for that one : 14:27
In fact, there are 3 balls 😉
@@Shakads Brilliant!
Also this might be my favorite puzzle so far. It's not a 500 move burr puzzle, it doesn't require anything to be known ahead of time, there's really only one bit that needs solved, but doing so requires INCREDIBLY careful thinking.
I agree, also one of my favorite puzzle from now.
@@Mr.Puzzle I also think a great part of this video was breaking down the thought process. I know people like live solves, but seeing the step by step of how you can think your way through is more captivating because it shows off how much art goes into creating these things.
Been waiting!!! Congratulations and thanks for sharing 👍🏼😊
Thanks, Mr. Puzzle! Your careful analysis using information gathering techniques was excellent and well explained. And, of course, these steps brought us to an internal model that ultimately led to the solution! I love your videos, and I watch all the time. Keep on puzzling!
mr puzzle seams to be a puzzle makers worst enemy
Even with him explaining my small brain could not keep up. This man is on a level that rivals god.
That was beautiful. I love seeing your brain at work.
Thanks, I enjoyed your logical thinking and explanations. Great puzzle and well manufactured.
Would it also have been possible to, using the first "stuck position" as a reference point, place your thumb where the hole is to keep note of it (this spot being found by rotating the entire puzzle until gravity causes the ball to fall out, telling you that the hole is at the bottom), then with a full rotation, place the pin in front of the hole (the placement of which is marked by your thumb) to keep the 1st ball in the hole, and then rotate the entire puzzle around until the 2nd ball falls in the hole?
I realize this method requires about 15 degrees or so of guess work, since it's hard to tell EXACTLY where the hole is by the ball falling out due to gravity, but this is where my head went with the solution and i was just wondering if that would have worked?
Solus I wonder that as well. Seemed like it could have been solved very quickly.
so clever. You did an amazing job. Well done.
Wow you explained it so very well, I appreciate the effort you went to do that
great method and explanation to solve the puzzle, and how to approach problems in general.
Imagine if it was oiled and the two halves were tight so you couldn't hear or feel the balls moving around. it would only be solved by chance if ever.
I appreciate your spoiler brakes but don't worry because even level 3 hanayamas cause me trouble. So this puzzle would be truly impossible for me
Very clearly explained & defined ; plain & simple 👍
One of the best videos on yt, great job!
Your problem solving method reminds me on a very difficult problem of philosophy. If we see reality only through our eyes, and our senses always limitating what is really the case, we only know that we expect and how it could be connected by a trusted and reliable result of trying the right way. But the really real realiy is not what we conclude by our methods - the results are part of what we can´t see. If you have to choose between two teapods, for which one has the better design, the problem remains unsolvable if you are in one of the two teapods. And that´s what we´re doing, as long we perceive reality through our brain. We see only what´s inside our minds. Outside our brain it's literally the beyond world.
Give me more of that 😁😍
You are in the teapot. You have your Titan Puzzle in your pocket. You open it, you take the ball bearing, you smash the teapot you are in and you get access to the other teapot!
Haha Werbung/Advertisment. A German word that's actually shorter than it's English counterpart. 🤣
Zeitung and Newspaper is another example.
Fantastic Video, really enjoyed the clear explanations an that 3D printed item was perfect
Really loved the steps explaning!!! Very nice video!! Helped a lot understand how to solve puzzles from now on!!! Nice work!!
If I ever go to prison, I'm taking this guy with me to pull me out 😄
Did you make this video for Chris Ramsey? He needs the pointers lol
Loved the explanation!
Loved the 3D printed explanation. Thats brilliant!
remember the story of hercules, when his horse was tied up with a knot? Do that
All this shows is that I'll never get into competitive puzzling.
awesome job, mr puzzle. these 2 piece puzzles are less daunting. I am glad you do more than solve puzzles, you explain them.
Another masterful demonstration. That is why you are my go to puzzle solver! To help me put old puzzles quickly back together again, that freinds opened then could not close. Even though I have beat them all, some times you forget how you did it 2 years ago. Thanks!
