When I heard about these ingame cinematics that were going to be in WOD, I thought they wouldn't even come close to the classic cgi blizzard cinematics in terms of epicness. It was after I watched this one that I realized I couldn't have been more wrong. This one caught me so off guard that I think my mouth was open for about a minute after it ended.
If you did the quest, you know how long it really took Drek'thar to prepare. It is amazing to see, considering he is blind, what an elemental shaman of this level can do. When he is finally ready, raises his hands and the sky goes into a black vortex, along with the music... gives me goosebumps every time.
I love the moment when this one Iron Horde orc tries to backstab Ga'nar but fails. The pure terror on his face when Gan'nar is turning to face him and then smashes him into the ground with roar - the whole cinematic is superb but this one, short moment I could watch looped without end.
After I lvled up to 100 I went back to Thunder Pass, and I saw a lone frostwolf trying to dig out his Partner....that was so sad....almost made me cry....
Calling "Garrosh" a hero made the whole comment have no value for me. I'm a Horde player and long time fan, but I strongly disagreee with both your statement and you attidue.
BEst fucking cinematic Blizzard has ever made. All is perfect- Ga'nar sacrifice for the horde, family. The fury with which he fights for which he hold dear. That he accepted Durotan as his brother and chieftain in final moments of his life. Drek'thar shattering the mountain with the most epic music into it
+lubo pazitny Ga'nar: "Durotan, this isn't a choke point... it's a meat grinder!" Draka: "And yet they still keep coming" Ga'nar: "I know, that's the best part!"
MyViolador Some quests before Thrall summoned a whirlwind and then told us that he was exhausted.. He explained that the elements didn't respond to his call as they do on Azeroth. "I can hear them but they speak in a different language". I haven't reached the Nagrand part where he kills garrosh, but i suppose that it would have taken a lot more effort for Thrall at that moment dunno..
I haven't played WoD though I'm interested to know if Durotan was happy to see Thrall as a grown up orc and chieftain of the Horde, how does he even react because this time traveling back to Draenor shouldn't be possible, does he think by seeing Thrall he sees the future?
He did not knew that he will have a child at this point. And i think that Thrall actually never told Durotan that he is his son from Alternate reality ( i did not complete Nagrand questline so it is possible he told him there but i dont think so)
Thrall decided to never tell Durotan so that there was no bond between them for when thrall had to leave Draenor. Grommash however does find out Garrosh is his son from an alternate world. However Garrosh is already dead by this point and Gul'dan tells Grommash that Garrosh was his son.
ZainsGaming This is on the alternate Draenor (now Outland in our timeline) the Horde and Alliance had to go to in the Warlords of Draenor expansion. It’s set 30 years in the past behind our own timeline as well. Much of Thrall or Go’el’s family is still alive in this alternate world. The female Orc next to Thrall is his mother, Draka. The male one in the Wolfskin is his father, Durotan. The male Orc who sacrifices himself is Ga’nar, Durotan’s brother, and the shaman is Drek’thar, his alternate timeline and younger version than the one on Azeroth.
Am I the only one having the issue here that Thrall was right THERE standing and chilling and doing nothing? During the brother talk If he had rushed in right after the small waves I presume they both could have summoned the elements sooner and not let Thralls Uncle die...
Schizhophreny Anny at that point in the story, Thrall could not use the power of the elements in Draenor, he was really only able to start using them in Nagrand
The reason he couldn't is because the elements on Draenor were more....savage. They were called Elemental Furies, the Furies had no elemental lord like on Azeroth so they ran themselves and were harder to control because of that independence
Dimensionmaster05 Thank You for explaining that :) makes more seance... thou I still would have thought Thrall of all orcs to at least try and do something... it was kind of his family at stake...
they would have been overrun no matter how long they all tried to hold the pass. Ga'nar sacrificed himself so his family could escape. He died the death that all orcs would want to die. His sacrifice didnt go in vain
No he didnt die for no reason he died holding of the iron horde if he didnt they would have stormed in and start killing thousands but he held them of to make sure they all get crushed
If warlords did one thing PERFECTLY, it was the quests and the cinematics, so damn good.
Ga'nar mah nigga
The truest portrayal of a fury warrior ever!
That fucking primal grunt at 1:05 gave me goosebumps
Never forget - Ga'nar 2015
Never
Never

i know this comment is old af, but my favorite is the talador finale absolutely, its so epic :P

Norbert Pásztor :,( reminds me of that sad futurama episode where Fry's dog waited for him at the same spot for decades until he died of old age.
same feelings here :(
I hope they add Ga'nar to Heroes of the Storm.
that made me cry...unbelievable grown man working every day with suffering and death.... they know how to tell the epic moments
Lok'tar, Ga'nar! For family! For the Horde!!
Ga'nar is so amazing. I love his story, and the spirit he has throughout the FFR questline. Lok'Tar!
The level of epicness is ....
69
+jim jay is OVER 9000
No... it's ??+
Moments like these is why alliance could never measure up to the horde.
lok'tar ogar!
wow, srsly calling somene an idiot because he got something wrong on a game lol you belong on the internet
How are those words measuring up now? *cough* Varian *cough*
Calling "Garrosh" a hero made the whole comment have no value for me. I'm a Horde player and long time fan, but I strongly disagreee with both your statement and you attidue.
TWO WORDS FOR ALL OF YOU THAT SHUTS DOWN ANY ARGUMENT ABOUT ALLIANCE BEING BETTER:
BROXIGAR SAURFANG
Also Garrosh was a hero, the hero in fact, in Northrend.
Lok'tar indeed Ga'nar. I'll carve another cut in Garrosh for you.

+lubo pazitny LOKTAR OGAR
+lubo pazitny Ga'nar: "Durotan, this isn't a choke point... it's a meat grinder!" Draka: "And yet they still keep coming" Ga'nar: "I know, that's the best part!"
god damn, that music!! i need to find it!!
tell me when you do please
it is "khadgar's plan"
Best Cinematic they ever made :`( . Right in the feelz!
Ga'nar is a freaking beast man. That's a real orc there
RIP Ga'nar 2015-2015 nvr forgetty
Ga'nar, such badass
Does anyone know the soundtrack in this video? Especially the part after Ga'nar's charge.
its a part of khadgar plan ost, this epic music is also in talador finale
Late to the party, but here you go: ruclips.net/video/QJfZqIyDs0U/видео.html
@@mezz9159 you are just in time!
LOK`TAR!!!!
Your place is with our people, protect our family, Chieftain.
The look on Durotan's face when Ga'nar said "Chieftain" hit me in the feels harder than anything else.
I can not wait for the Warcraft movie.
Ga'nar; the epitome of Orcish badassery and why I can't wait to reroll Mag'har when BFA hits.
anyone know the music and qhere i can find it?
Why is Khagar's theme playing in the background when it's all about the orcs.
+mitrooper Because
So wait, it took Thrall 10 seconds to summon lightning to strike Garrosh, and instead he stands back while Drek'thar spends a whole minute trying?
Thrall is the most powerfull shaman compared to Drek'thar
yeah but that raises my question: Why is Thrall not closing the passage off, or at least helping Drek'thar?
TheDeralte i dont knowl, because he's green?
MyViolador Some quests before Thrall summoned a whirlwind and then told us that he was exhausted.. He explained that the elements didn't respond to his call as they do on Azeroth. "I can hear them but they speak in a different language".

A lightning bolt that can pierce flesh is not equal to a lightning bolt that can shatter a whole mountain.

If I remember correctly Thrall never says that he is their child.
Thrall decided to never tell Durotan so that there was no bond between them for when thrall had to leave Draenor. Grommash however does find out Garrosh is his son from an alternate world. However Garrosh is already dead by this point and Gul'dan tells Grommash that Garrosh was his son.
Squiggle Wiggle Where were Thrall´s reasons specified? I do not recall that they would touch it anyhow.
Can you get the song playing in the background on iTunes?
Say what you want about WoD as a whole, but leveling campaign was absolute peak of WoW - This cinematic and one with Blackhand were soooo goood
It's Sarumaaaaaaaan!!!
AS BROTHERS!
I quit WoW several years ago, who are these Orcs?
I do recognize Thrall.

like a boss!
In terms of killing characters this expansion was like GOT :DDDD
This music!!!? Soundtrack name?
music?! :3
"How its dream way to die?"
Me:
Dafuq i teared up...
Am I the only one having the issue here that Thrall was right THERE standing and chilling and doing nothing? During the brother talk

Schizhophreny Anny at that point in the story, Thrall could not use the power of the elements in Draenor, he was really only able to start using them in Nagrand
slicemup9 ... ok... didn't know that... what was the reason for it?
Schizhophreny Anny
For some reason he couldn't hear the elements very well on Draenor, it wasn't really talked about in detail
Ganar IS badass
I think hes not dead
LOK'TAR!!
I understand why Valen died. Black star would kill everything. Here he just die for no reason...
***** It was idiotic. They could have just held beyond the pass until Drek'Thar cast his spells and then finished off those that had made it past.
Plus its Orcs go by Lok'tar Ogar. Its honorable to die in battle
they would have been overrun no matter how long they all tried to hold the pass.
If Thrall is Green Jesus then Drek'Thar is Red God. I have yet to see Thrall doing anything half this badass.
nazgren100 Nagrand brah, kicked some serious ass there.
Stun and lightning bolt, versus bring down a mountain pass... not really a competition.Look how long it took Saruman to do the same thing in FOTR!
Wielded the Dragon Soul. Clearly you don't fully understand how the nickname came to be.
