I just love watching you digitizing with such ease!! It's like magic!! Thank you for sharing your amazing skills! I've been struggling with digitizing work and you make it so much easier! Stay wonderful!! :-D
I just received my Brother 6800 runway. And today, my 2nd day with it, I did your "Rubber duck"- uploaded the .pes file and it worked perfectly. Awesome Tutorial, Kate. I followed along, step by step and ended up with a few glitches, but, eventually learned enough to make a pretty good little duck. I started with your #1 and am continuing with your program. Thansk. Yes, I subscribed.
I am so happy you were successful . I can not tell you the number of times a viewer will watch only one video then start asking questions that would be answered in the next lesson. You are going about it realistically. If you can suffer through most of the videos you will find your designs will always come out much better than you thought possible. I'm glad you are sticking with it. It is such a useful and entertaining skill.
One thing I noticed in the evaluations section of the machine purchase I made on Amazon; The Brother 6800 is highly rated, but I always read the lower ratings first. People were complaining about all sorts of things on this machine. I almost decided not to buy it. But, after I received it and read through the instructions, I realised almost all their troubles were due to them probably not following the instructions. These machines are complex and some parts are quite delicate. Fortunately, I have decades of experience with just such equipment and programs. I'm having a ball learning an entirely new skill. Again, your tutorials are awesome. What a Christmas!
Thank you ever so much. These videos are so extremely helpful. We are new to machine embroidery and because of your videos we are making it through the start-up process. Thank you.
+socalgal007 Teresa G Acuna Thank you for your feedback and for subscribing. It is such an entertaining skill that will pay for itself in birthday, wedding, baby and Christmas gifts alone. Feel free to ask questions or send examples to my web site for analysis.
Hi. Awesome video. You are my go to person for learning. I have seen your videos in open and closed shapes and lines. Ao why use manual punch instead of shapes? Also on manual punch how do you how how wide ti make too/bottom.. wish i could share my first digitizing from your videos
Thanks you. Manual punch is used when you want control of the stitch direction. For example think of a snake or a book worm where you want the stitches to follow the direction of the curve. I believe I have a video on that. To find my videos easier I have all 75 listed in order on my web site oleens.com.
Another fantastic video. Thank you so much for these they are so informative. Would you consider making one with regards to digitising freestanding lace?
+FairyElephant70 I have never done lace because I know it could never be as good as what I could buy from Sue Box. Why re invent the wheel. I have learned so much from her by just studying how her designs sew out.
Yes please - when i do lettering in a circle, and need to adjust it more [smaller] it sometimes jusps back bigger, also lettering in a straight line - if i click on a node to move it closer it moves more than one letter, frustrating - am i doing it wrong. Thanks in advance, Elaine
+Bbb Rrrr I do know that the software will not let you size text or other objects smaller than they can be sewn out. I am curious if this is the case. Please send the PES file to my web site and tell me what size you want it. It might make a good video to see how to get around a problem like this. Kathleen
Hallo ich hab seit kurzem die Sticksoftware Pe Desing 10 Ich arbeite viel mit dieser Software in komme noch nicht so gut zurecht.... Könnten sie mal in einem Video beschreiben wie man zb. Comics Nashorn, Hase usw. erstellt?

I have a SE-625 that stitches 4x4. How can I split it if the photo is larger then what my machine stitches at one time?
same question
Brilliant tutorial as always, thanks Kathleen.
