i had a g70 and the genesis has been my favorite car still. had a tlx. model 3 LR, 440i. but the g70. thing was a beaut. i got the 3.3t when the car was new to the scene. was fun gapping people who had no idea what the car was. especially the 86/brz boys.
It’s nice to see they eventually added the glass shifter to their vehicles. I briefly worked for Hyundai as an NSG Technician back in 2020-2021. They were trying to add that touch to different vehicles and even had me install it on a Palisade. Although if I recall correctly it was an audio control knob at that time. Hope they got that wind noise concern down specially after they stole a Mazda engineer to help them out.
Genesis finally becomes luxury. I still remember the days people used to make fun of it. I used to own a Genesis coupe great car but plastic were terrible. I miss it

I bought this car after Tiger Woods limped away from launching it off a mountain side. I worked for the company that made all the safety equipment in it and it awesome. I own the 2021 model and Genisis hired the guy who made Bentley's SUV - and it is a mirror image. My model doesn't have the scent thing, and I'm glad but it is pure comfort. Only thing I don't lie about my model (2021 Prestige package). The 22" wheels is obscene. Even in comfort mode I feel every bump and they are hella expensive to replace. Also no spare tire so pony up on you roadside coverage.

100% agree. In terms of performance they're not quite there, but everything else for sure. I grew up with BMWs and have owned my G70 for a year now. Absolutely no comparison between it and the all the BMWs my parents had growing up. BMWs feel like cheap cars to me now after owning my Genesis. Whenever I visit my parents and drive their BMWs I'm like ew, this is terrible and feels so cheap and doesn't have any features on it lol.

Absolutely true. Our family car is a mid-size SUV and I personally respect that it is a heavy vehicle which wobbles more than leans into corners. I therefore don't speed around and throw it at corners expecting everything to be okay. One SHOULD drive with caution and ease when they choose to go BIG. Well that's what I believe anyway...
It’s a Hyundai, save your money and buy something that won’t fall apart in two years. 80K can buy you a decent alternative like a Lexus or even a Lincoln.

And its really good, because the noise cancelling is made by Samsung, and most of the electronics in this car are made by Samsung too.
It's pretty established now. 20k cars got them. Can be a hassle if you want an aftermarket speaker system though.

10 year/100k mile powertrain warranty. I believe the German competitors is half of that but with a much higher price tag. So it's totally worth it!
