As a fan thank you for designing it, it has a special connection to my family as my great-grandfather was an engineer on the railways back when the Mallard was running. A stunningly beautiful train which you captured so elegantly in lego. Bravo

@@XenothGaming most welcome - touching to know it has that connection. It’s special to me as it was One of my favourite trains as a child.
An idea I thought of last week was a collab theme between Lego and the National Railway Museum that lets them adapt the UK’s National Collection in Lego. Each model would be the standard 6 studs wide and would ideally have a relatively low price. They could make sets of the most famous ones like Mallard or the Stirling Single, or obscure ones like GER No. 87 or Butler Henderson.
I had a idea of a sort of mudular loco. If you buy one you get a 2-2-0 loco. Like a rocket. You buy 2 sets and tpi build a 4-4-0 american And if you buy 3 sets you get a 4-6-2 express loco
The fans design the Ideas set. Lego turns their vision into a bad copy. Every single time. Lego ruined their own train theme, while the competitors show how it is done right.
That Lego mallard would be rad AF.
no we need Flying Scotsman 1st not that piece of seagull Shit
That is until Lego finds a way to ruin it like they did with the Orient Express.
I would be okay if they made the flying Scotsman with no coaches,as long as I get two tenders
and that LNER A4 IS what Spencer form TTTE is based on.
I’ve been wanting a Lego Mallard since I was 8.
As the designer of the Mallard, thank you for sharing this and to everyone who has voted ❤

Honest opinion: None of them a Narrow gauge, thus not cool. I'm surprised no body made a K27 in Lego yet.

Awesome video! And thank you for sharing my project.

Well..look what a bad job Lego did with the Orient xpress !. As a designer i would think twice too give Lego my work.
