Picked up this set recently with discount, and found that I had the wrong sticker sheet and misspelt destination tiles, customer service was great and are sending me the correct stickers and tiles which I received today, and can now finish building.

The first one I was expecting a decapod... At least they got some of the valve gear working!

Rebrickable has alot of good train designs as well! I like the bricklink moc section but alot of them are “for display only” dont have the studio file attached unfortunately.

I want this set despite it being $300 and knowing it is kind of more complicated to motorize it but trains were a huge part of my childhood so that is why I’d get this so it symbolizes that. For $300 it would’ve been nice to have either a motor or make it so it runs smoother on track and makes it easier to motorize though I’ll admit that but has 8 figures

Lego robotics goes back to 1987, when it started with the 9750 interface A under the DACTA label. Before RCX we also had interface B. A was programmed with mostly 8-bit home computers, B was more targetted at the early DOS PC audience.

I would say lego never made a great train set. The few that comes close are not powered.

The teacup with a lime could be referring to an espresso romano or maybe tea.

You're reaching so hard on the bar/alcohol part, and limes are very common to find at bars as they're used in many different drinks.

Any train Lego do MUST have the 1x3x4 train windows pieces, and the 1x2x3 train windows with train glass because these are pieces that are so rare and frighteningly expensive now. We need new ones.

The Thomas one would never happen even if it gets enough votes the fact of the matter is Mattel owns thomas they also own mega blocks LEGO is a direct competitor this would never happen. Plus thomas fell way off now lol

That Stephenson's Rocket model is SO COOL! :D The tender would need some modifications since it uses an obsolete LEGO piece, but it would be a great model to have, and a nice tribute to steam locomotive history. And also - Yellow train wheels!
