I love British trains because they are all just Thomas trains without the faces. Very nostalgic. Never been to Europe though
As usual not only is this a great video, but everything is just presented so perfectly, the vibes are immaculate. I feel like this is something I can return to and re-watch again and still have the same feeling the first time I've watched it. Excellent video and amazing lego presentations!

I go to the NRM every few months, but since it’s massively gone downhill/the renovations have messed everything up, I haven’t really bothered much. It has been a good source of models for me, as I’ve made several current and former York residents in Lego.
Nice! I'm looking forward to seeing it post-renovation
Could you try to (at least on studio) build the SM31 locomotive( the blue one) in narrow gauge? I tried it myself but I don’t have enough pieces.
To everyone who starts telling him to build things; you don't know how hard this can be, let Larry do things at a reasonable pace

I love a train layout with grand wide radius curves. As for the purple branch pieces, firstly I didn’t know they came in purple and secondly they are the perfect colour for me to build some jacaranda trees. In flower they are a thick and entirely leafless crown of magnificent purple tubular flowers. Their flowering signals imminent end of year exams in Australia!
I didn't know they existed either! That's really cool to know you have plants like that 😁

Did you notice the Flying Banana (GWR diesel railcar) also featured in both your visit to the Railway Museum and one of the Lego versions on display?
(We've got a Shinkansen, too. But it stayed home for this show.)

Idk if one of those Class 08s is a Class 13, I noticed one of them is missing a cab and the only cabless 08s I remember seeing were the front section of the Class 13 diesels, said class of diesels were used at Tinsley marshalling yard to prevent grounding

hey larry, i have an idea. imagine if you could make an even smaller set of lego trains to go alongside your small ones. you should make the narrow gauge engines. they would be so tiny next to your models

British trains are so elegant and beautiful, while American steam engines have no personality and look so sloppy + industrial. The UK really cared about the technology and made some gorgeous things out of it.
