252k over 10 years is pathetic bro. Like this is sooooo so bad why would you continue. Less than 10 weeks in and over 12k made, you’re doings doing seriously wrong I’ve already had 6 rides at $100 in those 10 weeks and you had 2 in 10 years?
This driver is in Minnesota or Minneapolis. Every market is different. I am in LA. where were spread out. putting 200 miles on your car in one day is possible. But 200 miles paid every day is impossible. You can get close. But even in a busy market like Los Angeles. You are talking driving 10 hours a day in constant motion. In other words. . where are you pick up and then drop off. When you drop off your next ride Hass to be right there. Granted five minutes away. Every single drop off Hass to have that happened to you. Where you’re literally already got the next call and it’s right there a minute away or five minutes away. And that Hass to happen for the next 10 hours. We’re talking back to back ,back to back, back to back ,back to back ,back to back. No other way to do it. it would be hard to believe that you were getting either back to back 50 mile rides or 25 mile rides. Again it depends on the market you’re in. Not every city state has the same activity. Same goes with the money per ride. Pre-Covid I could do three rides in a week that were 90 miles each. And it happened to me regularly. currently in this economic climate I’ll be lucky to do one a month. Remember we’re talking paid miles. That’s the miles that there is someone sitting in your car. Not you driving around to get to a spot. Not driving back home or to a store or whatever else you got going on. And the most important part of this whole thing. What market are you in compared to what market is he in.

I've never looked at my total stats but I've been a rideshare driver for 6.2 years. Funny thing though - Uber lowered the amount of time I've been driving on their platform. I started with Lyft and added Uber about 6 months later.

Yeah I only made 36k last year (not counting expenses), and still had to pay the IRS over $1,300.. over 25k miles on a car, gas is around 5$/gal and avg rent is over $1,900mth where live. (i dont pay that, I rent a room for half that otherwise I'd be living in my car).. Fast food now pays over 20$ where I live, so yeah, its sadly becoming more worth it to hang up the car keys and go flip burgers with the high-school kids.
I'd like to know where I am on the list of most rides taken by an Uber driver. 28,660 on UberX, 5688 UberEats. 1818 with Lyft. Uber has definitely treated me better than Lyft.
Thanks for this. You seem like a good guy. Are you going to school? Have you inherited some money? Do you have a send job?Because you really aren't making much money. How much was paid to the tax man? Have you been able to save for some money? Sorry, I found the data interesting but I feel kinda bad seeing those totals So good luck

Facts 💯
No,that's even worse.People do Uber,Doordash etc because they're tired of 9 to 5 jobs.

I'm curious , in all those 10 years you did not get a $150++ ride? Did you cherry pick these rides or accept them all?
In 2024 U/L, profit lies in the shorter rides. Chasing revenue is not a measure of income or profitability.
