damn, is that why i refused to change in the locker room when i was in middle school PE? i never considered that was connected to my sexuality, but in hindsight that makes a lot of sense.
OMG EVERYTIME IN THE LOCKERROOM. Im bi and its always super akward in the locker room when the girls are like in underwear and all that and in my head im just like DONTLOOKDONTLOOK DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONT LOOOOOOOOOOOOOK!!!!
I’ve had a long journey, trying to discern what my sexuality is. Sometimes I would feel more lesbian, sometimes I feel more bisexual, but I knew I wasn’t straight. At the end of the day, after exploring, and really thinking about things, I’m proud to say that I’m openly bisexual.
The thing that annoys me most about being bisexual, is when I tell one of my straight friends they always ask the most stupid question: *So your lesbian?* Ok update, the other day I told a straight friend I was bisexual and they actually said (again) “but you like girls..so your not bisexual” and it took me like 45 minutes for them to understand that I like both genders like bRuh

It's only conspicuos to you, because you know why you are asking. If you are uncomfortable just asking out of the blue, you could say something like "Hey, I read this news article about ... (e.g. some protest conserning pride or homophobia). What do you think about this/gays ?"You can even in good conscious say you are not gay, if he asks you to say it first. I obviously don't know about your situation, still I'd highly advise to find out what he thinks. If he isn't homophobic: great, you get the burden of that fear off of you. If he is homophobic: consider getting rid of the burden that is him & his hatred. Being with someone who hates you (even if they don't know) is not a solid/good foundation for a shared future. Of course, be safe. Wether you come out is your decision and yours alone. Remember that whatever happens, you are valid. Your happiness matters. A great deal actually :)
“Unless he’s Kim Taehyung, I’m not gonna date anyone just because they’re gay” Literally just because someone is a certain sexuality, DOESNT MEAN THEY LIKE THE WHOLE FRICKING COMMUNITY!!!
me coming out to my mom really be like, Me: Mom I'm bisexual, i like men and women... Mom: oh don't worry sweetie you are just confused, it's just a phase in the teenage life. My brain: I hate it here.
Bisexual Coming out in front of parents: Dad: Is fine with it and says its only my business who I like and who I dont. I can talk about girls I like w him. Mom: Is ok with it and promises she´ll tell no one. Well she did tell her friends so she appears more tolerant and when I confronted her she said: Noo I didnt tell no one and then got mad at me. Also she forced me to come out infront of my grandma. Grandma: Complety tolarant and cool with it.
My step dad was cool with it. My mother on the other hand paniced immediately told my step dad and threatened to tell my grandma about me dating my trans boyfriend who wasn't out to his family yet. A few months later my grandma asked why my mom thought that I liked girls and I denied it because she's really homophobic. A while later while my mega religious and super homophobic aunt came over when they were talking about one of my aunts grand daughters, who is one of my lesbian friends, they were talking about how her Grandma was defending her sexuality (like a good family membe) my mom just casually "lets it slip" that I'm into girls too... I think my aunt didn't hear it or ignored it. So I kind of relate to you.

I laughed so hard at your video. Relatable. Thank you. I basically fall for personality regardless of sex. There is a term for that I know. But I prefer just saying that phrase. When I told my parents. My mom actually said: '''You only were in love with girls when you were really young and this other girl you liked didnt like you back. Wasnt it just a phase? Just experimenting?'' ''Arent you just ''angry'' with men?'' ''It is better to date a guy if you want a family.'' My dad kept running around the room trying to do anything but listen. -_-; I confronted him because we had always been very close. So I said: Did you know? And my dad said: ''I had a feeling''. But he just wouldnt look at me nor talk about it. My dad ended the conversation with ''Nobody has to know. There a stereotypes about people like you out there.'' I know... It could have been worse. But still.... I have been eating the flesh by mij nails for a while (a nasty subconcious stress thing I do). I didnt know why. Then I reflected upon it. Oh... This is why. Funny because it stopped almost right after I figured it out. So I want to talk to them again. However without my brother present who I havent told because I am not ready to tell him yet. I am going to. My parents are currently occuptied with other personal stuff and me too. So I can wait. But I am going to talk to them again. Definetly. If there are people with healthy tips for my next conversation with them. It would be welcome.

AAAAAAAH i hate it when people say that, like if you're straight that doesn't mean you're in love with every person of the opposite gender you see, it's the same for bisexuals and gays and pansexuals and everyone else.
I think a struggle that all lgbt people go through is their aunt asking "how's your (insert identity) phase going?" and yet it's going stronger than their marriage.
Ikr like my parents always go on about me getting a 'boyfriend' when they legit know I'm bisexual and then they have to quickly add: 'or girlfriend' or I have to do it for them and it's SO annoying
actually, you could be both. aromantic relates to not being interested in romantic relationships, demisexual relates to ‘ doing the thing ‘ only with people you get to know. though, i can see why you may or may not have been confused. anyways, if i’m wrong, let me know; i’ll be fine with changing or deleting this comment!
Yeah exactly, if we’re in a heterosexual relationship, doesn’t mean that we’re straight and if we’re in a same sex relationship, doesn’t mean we’re gay. Either way, we are still bi!
Me: "I'm a lesbian" Society: "are you sure??? You MUST like men to some degreeeeee, nobody is 100% gayyyy, one day you'll find the right mannnn, lesbians don't exisssssst xoxox"
I mean, yeah. Someday you ARE going to find the right man. He's a bro. You two are bro's. Thats it. Gender and sexuality don't matter when you find them, you two will be bro's. Maybe your gf can be a bro too! And that, ladies, gentlemen and all ya'll, is all we need from someone we don't like as a partner. Be a bro, not a bitch. (I'm agreeing with you, OP)
Society says the same to bi people - assume they really just like men. So bi men are presumed gay, bi women presumed straight. Just adds in more of that sexist patriarchy that there clearly wasn't already enough of 🙃

@@sicksadsociety5658 There is nothing wrong with labels. Personally having the "label" bisexual exist made it possible for me to realize that was a thing a that its normal. I do get where you are coming from tho because sometimes labels feel forced on people. My thoughts are never let anything pressure you into anything. You dont have to have a specific label just tell whoever asks that your just trying to figure yourself out still and that you dont know yet.It is fine to not label yourself and it is also fine to know what category you fall most comfortably in if any. The human race is always learning new things so if you dont feel like you fit into any category why not have fun and make up your own. Just make sure youre not being offensive to any group of people while you do so. :)

When I was younger one of my close friends told her friend that I was bi. Her friend asked her if she was comfortable around me and if it was weird sitting next to me, and even asked if I'd hit on her just because she was a girl. Also had an incident hanging out with friends outside somewhere (as teens do lol) a guy kept threatening our friend (younger than us only bout 13 or 14) because he was gay. I was so mad I went up to him and reminded him he was threatening a child and it didnt make him look cool. I then told him I was bi and asked if he would beat me up for liking girls. He said no that's different. I couldn't believe it. I told him he'd have to go through me if he wanted to beat on someone for being gay. Luckily, he backed off.

I am Bisexual, EVERYONE I MEET IS LIKE "being Bi is just a front for being gay/lesbian" I'm so sick of it.
The thing that annoys me most about being bisexual, is when I tell one of my straight friends they always ask the most stupid question:
*So your lesbian?*
Ok update, the other day I told a straight friend I was bisexual and they actually said (again) “but you like girls..so your not bisexual” and it took me like 45 minutes for them to understand that I like both genders like bRuh
Mine asked my why I don't flirt with her. Like wtf. I'm not into you that's why

I’m bisexual but I don’t know how to tell people because I have a boyfriend and I don’t know if he is homophobic 💗💜💙
If a friend won't accept you as bisexual then he/she/they (sorry for anyone not included) isn't the person you would want to be with you
Ask like his general opinion of the matter

You dont have to have a specific label just tell whoever asks that your just trying to figure yourself out still and that you dont know yet.It is fine to not label yourself and it is also fine to know what category you fall most comfortably in if any.
