    I still use this video in 2020 to explain the attacks of opportunity to my new players since we play Pathfinder.

    This is the best explanation of attacks of opportunity that I have gotten so far! This is so funny!

    Happy to see you guys making vids again! Keeping the videos to 3 minutes is a good idea! Cuts the fat and makes the jokes punchier and funnier. I'd even recommend trimming this one to 2:30.

    Yeah, like I said, we figured that one out a little late... Sadly... This response was purely to whether or not the thug could possibly have attack Brian when he entered the square next to him.

    So many giggles

  • @Necronner

    Also remember that it did NOT provoke an attack of opportunity when he ENTERED the square next to the thug, only when he tried to escape without using five foot step.

  • @RogueAgentJ
    @RogueAgentJ 11 лет назад

    But you can't provoke more than one attack of opportunity from a threatening opponent for the same action. That second hit must have been provoked by him standing up from the prone position.

  • @RollingHigh

    Well, if the thug threatens the square diagonal of him thenwex did provoke when he left that square and entered the one next to the thug.

    Attacks Of Opportunity were an interesting mechanic until an entire round became a series of non-stop reactionary domino effects. Glad they dropped most of it for 5e.
