Ben, The SWA on that first cable you shortened is corroded rusty , you should have replaced the whole cable. Great video though 👍 nice easy little job.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying there is anything particularly wrong but I could see that the armer is rusty moisture being drawn in some most likely at the end where it was wrapped in red tape,probably not enough to be a problem yet, but it could be in time. but if you’re tests are as expected then it probably fine . But personally I would just replace it . Just To cover myself..
