My friend, these cables that you show are for 110 volts, we have 220 volts here so they are more powerful, your outer coating is very soft, with us you can't cut them with such knives, you have to have a very strong machine, and sometimes they cut still not good, then don't forget if you find old cables that are dry and hard, you can only burn them

Thanks for the ideas but in comments you make common mistake of thinking that not being injured previously makes you less likely to be injured in future. Only takes one mistaken slice to cause nerve damage that changes your life. Plus your workmanship would improve, a 6mm drill bit shouldn't make an 8mm hole. Now to carry on hunting ideas which will scale from flex to 10mm twin and earth and 3 phase stuff.

Great idea, but to drill into wood, you should use a vise, not your hands. Imagine if the drill slips and you squeeze it while it's running; think about the damage it could do to your hand. When cutting with a utility knife, support it on a workbench, not your hand, and never cut towards yourself. If it slips, it can tear your hand and, depending on the force, even your wrist. Work safely, use Protective Equipment. Set this example for your audience.
    😱😳🤪
