April immediately asking to be Ron's best man is my favorite part of this becuase even though its a joke, you can tell she genuinely wanted that honor.

I don't know which came first but I do know her dad (in real life) got married and she was his best man. So I don't know if art imitated life or if life imitated art. But either way she has a knack for being best man.

The canoe that Ron says he built that's in a few episodes is a canoe that Nick Offerman actually built. Nick is such a multitalented and interesting individual that the writers and show creators kept taking things from Nick's real life and just making it part of Ron. The woodworking, the sax playing, even that very specific brand of scotch are all things Nick actually does or likes.

He also said that she seemed like a Hansen to him earlier in the same episode

I just kind of assumed it was a joke about Chris Hansen.
The second Diane jokingly revealed her middle name was Tammy, it was also the exact moment Ron and the viewers knew that she was already the final Mrs. Ron Swanson.

Not having a significant other in your life is perfectly acceptable whether by choice or not. I’m 24 and have never been in a relationship to this day, and I’ve never felt bad about it because there’s absolutely no reason to feel bad. Like you said, just live your life like you normally would. If you meet someone, good for you, but if you don’t, no big deal. It’s not worth being upset about being single when you can live your life to the fullest by doing whatever you want whenever you want, and people need to realize this. I personally think it’s extremely powerful to feel comfortable with being single, and I’m sure you would agree. No one should ever falsely assume a person’s sexuality or feel sorry for anyone who’s single if they are content with themselves and their lifestyle.
Andy is literally the whole reason for Ron dating Diane, becoming and father and marrying Diane. Who knew Andy could play matchmaker for Ron Swanson by scribbling "Ron likes you" like a teenager "liking" a girl

Everyone talks about Andy and Leslie, but seeing April so happy, smiling, and with even a shine on her eyes is the best part about all of this. Her emotions are so logical and well-acted
