So, my name is Bronson, and a friend of mine, who watches this show, decided to nickname me Bron Swanson. I had no idea how much of a compliment this was until now.

I really love the fact that he went to and loved Scotland. It means he's not absolute in his beliefs, which he seems to be at first, but no matter how much I respect Ron, I respect him even more for the fact that he is actually open to new experiences.
Of all the countries, Scotland is the country someone like Ron could appreciate. It’s beautiful, rugged, and wild. For someone who isn’t from there, with a personality like Ron’s, there’s something about a place like Scotland that would truly speak to him. Scotland is often thought of as a “manly” country, too. To your other point: He is, of course, more open to new experiences over the years, due to Leslie. Due to his wife and his kids. One could argue all the important women in his life helped make him more open minded, and sometimes even (slightly) more emotionally expressive.
I think it would’ve been hilarious and/or horrifying if he dropped the note, Tammy 2 found it, and recognized everything on it. That, or a scene in the finale where’s described that Ron’s cause of death was loosing a fight to boar, that’d be some great irony.
