Imho, they could have make this a "regular" trim at $200k with the track focused "performance" trim having smaller 60 or 65 kW battery and carbon fibre through the whole chassis - not just the cabin - and lightweight interiors for like $450k, in which that would still be a highly competitive price compared to other megawatt scale electric hypercars. Because this current spec literally weighs 2.5 tons. Too heavy to be considered a track weapon. Make it 1.9 tons at least. That amount of power for a $200k range is still insane nontheless. Although C8 ZR1 is also that.

Why not focus on that rather than the tricks it can do? It's like building a space shuttle and then showing off to the world that it's got a built in toilet.
