Very nice! I have been using swivel casters and your attachment of the ball rollers made me revise the way I thread the zip ties on the casters' base. I am now threading the zip tie between the casters' base and the QJ beam; this way the zip tie does not interfere with the swivel rotation.
Thanks for posting this. I was looking for a no drill solution that would also not involve using the magnets to keep the center part attached to the rest of the body.
I tried this mod and it works but the metal balls mark up regular concrete. My drive way was starting to look kids were drawing on it with white crayons. Scratches everywhere. Little to no marking in my garage as the concrete is a higher psi and smoother. Now looking for another mod.
when the bearing are secured in place and you have placed the jacks under the car will the jack move out of position in that they will move so easily prior to jacks lifting? When the jacks are raised could jacks move a bit in that the jacks are changing position slightly?
Great idea! Harbor freight sells the wheels and also sells stainless steel zip ties that won't break.
Smart, efficient, effective, just great. Thank you.

Great idea! Thanks for taking the time to explain this solution.
Thank you for this! I used this set up except fastened the smaller bearings with 3/16” aluminum rivets instead of zip ties, works great.

Did this to mine today, works great 👍 thanks for the idea and video
Great idea and video! I might experiment into using an adhesive or even a flat magnet to attach the rollers.
Thank you from California !!

I have tightened the zip ties as best I can, but any rash in the cement floor flips the castors to the side. Any thoughts to prevent them from moving?
Hello and thank you for the great video! What is the width of the mounting holes in these so I know what size zip tie to get?
nice tip. fwiw there are metal zip ties also.
Can use heavy duty double sided tape in addition to zip ties.
Youre awesome! Going to be doing the same soon
Great information
So, the rollers on one end lift off the ground when the jack is raised, but what about the rollers on the other end of the jack?
The other rollers also lift off the ground when the jack is raised.
very clever. thanks!
How many inches does this add to the height when the jacks are fully down?

As jack lifts up, the bearings are lifted off the ground. I never noticed the jack moving as it is lifted. Is pretty precise.
What size zip ties are these? They look beefy which is nice.
They probably came from Lowes or Home Depot. They sell some zip ties that are nice and wide.
I like your method! How much height does this add when collapsed?
The base is about half inch off the ground.
Harbor freight has them for like 70 cents each
@TechyRC have a link? i dont see them there
@@goodfellavapor8792 so theyre a buck each, but looks it says on their site that theyre in store only.
They make s s zip ties
TechyRC below said that too. Maybe I will finally try that.
