Great reminder of why I love these guys! Hummingbird was and still is one of my favorite albums.
Even though I love Sunlit Youth, Hummingbird is still my favorite album. I think it's when they were the most instrumentally dialed in. I especially love this bc this is fresh off finishing the album which they were very vulnerable when writing, lots of emotion, especially Kelcey. They are killing it right now and becoming so big, but this right here is special. Love this and the KEXP acoustic special (shortly after this was recorded)

About time this was released!
It was release in 2012 on Arte Concert website, but it was made available for 6 months only. We are slowly reuploading all of our Soirées de Poche now so that's why it's online again 5 years later. You're welcome.

I agree, but after seeing them perform the Sunlit Youth songs live, it's much better live than on the album

Blogotheque originally released this video in early 2013 around the release of Hummingbird. The previous link had been dead for at least 2-3 years, but they graciously uploaded the performance again today.

What does Soirée de Poche mean?
literaly : "Evening in a pocket" but here it means "Small party" or "Party to go" something like that :)
We say "Pocket Party" in English, but it's totally made up :)
