Best harmonies in the game
Check out Parcels !
fleet foxes
@@malamikigio Fleet Foxes as well, just a different style of it
Oof four years later and I come back to this. Amazing.
Same! I love these guys!
Megaton Mile is a great song in so many ways.
Literally the most beautiful sounding band on this planet. I don't know what it is about their music, but I just love it so much. They are amazing
I guess it's kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good website to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Kasen Gabriel flixportal xD
@Donovan Atticus Thank you, I went there and it seems to work =) Appreciate it !!
@Kasen Gabriel You are welcome :)
It's those harmonies! Not many bands have multiple lead singers haha
Is it me, or is this the most polished and beautiful live session ever?
Every session on KEXP it's something really special...the sound engineers are the best in the world...the are truly amazing
Man...those harmonies in Garden of Elysian 😩😭😭
Lyrically some of their most popular songs are just genius, the imagery is absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe they aren't more popular.
They are pretty damn famous in the US!
It's criminal.
Last year I fell in love with this band. Was going through a lot at the time and these guys pulled me through. I listen to these guys every day and it has opened my mind up to this genre of music
They have a new album planned to release this year.
How did this band pull you through? Nothing about their music or what it stands for is about pulling someone through depression. Just curious.
@@htown5835 Art is subjective. Maybe the music just makes them feel a certain way when they listen to it. Maybe it eases their mind, and relieves stress. I’m sure some people feel relief after listening to Cannibal Corpse too. There’s no wrong way to feel art.
@@TheMrReed0011 100% agree with you. Well said.
Time Stamps:

Most beautiful, soothing band ever!!! Whoever doesn't feel these guys clearly have no souls!!! This is what Heaven sounds like! GOD sent divine energy from these incredible souls!!! Much love and blessings from Canada!!!
Saw them in Orlando last night...If you ever have the opportunity to see this band live, snatch it. I've never had such a transformative experience before. Will forever be waiting until I can see them again.
I agree their live performance is a work of magic…saw them in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday night - electric, awesome!
Best band ever ..
Gosh I love them. I enjoy how they all participate in singing, it's not just 1 guy ♡
I always come back to this
So cool seeing Thom Yorke on the drums
lol if only
haha thought you were serious when I turnd video on
Good joke!
Tap Dancer is just my absolute favorite.
I Love Tap Dancer And Someday Now Such Similar Songs Amazing Work
Just discovered this band and realized they played live 20min away from my house a month ago😩 I hope they come back
This seems like such a tough gig, no audience, no second shots, no touch up or levelling! Cheers fellas!
I’m watching this on my phone at home with a beer and my phone in the same hand, and the line ‘when am I gonna lose you?’ happened... just as my finger clumsily pressed the power button on my phone and closed the app right at that moment 😂😂
Kelcey out here really doing EVERYTHING at the same time
Am i the only one who gets depressed by "When am i gonna lose you", and gets motivated with "Cafe Amarillo"?
When am I gonna lose you is my sit back and enjoy the beauty around me song!
I listen to right down the line all of the time
You can tell this was the last album they were truly excited about, because now, playing a live set, it’s always a mix of (predominantly) old songs with (some) new songs. Here, however, when Violet Street was new, it was all Violet Street.
What an absolutely phenomenal band.
agreed!
That guitar at the end 👌
dang WAIGLY sounds so tight they've really perfected it for live performances
Damn, these guys never disappoint...sounding so good as usual
Great music, great performance, great people. So talented and humble @local natives
Mai m'avorreixo de veure aquest vídeo. Molt bon punt per KEXP. Tan debò vinguin els Local Natives a Barcelona. Són uns músics espectaculars!
Favorite band at the moment and likely for a long time. Their harmonies are entrancing
I love when i see a Jazzmaster guitar in action... great taste!
So much talent
They are amazing live....!
Great band! Good to see them on.
These guys are in their prime right now. This is so damn good.
Lovely performance.💚
They're so good live!
Starry Eyes over "When Am I Gonna Lose You".
Live some local natives
Ryan must really love that shirt, with the palm leaves
He wore it at the chicago show (12.14.19) and I lost my fangirl shit
Love you guys
My fav band! ✊🏾🥰
I'll bet you didn't know this, but that's Thom Yorke of Radiohead on drums.
definitely a look alike. I am not sure about this music tho.
The vocal collaboration is truly unreal.
If you aren't crying by the end of this, do you even feel?
beautiful
About damn time guys. Thank you
loving the new stuff from this band
How are these guys not the biggest band in the world Rt now?
such a great sound
Owhhhh mahh holy crap they play megatron mile as second songs. I don't know why this song is my current favourite from lyric and sound of instruments
come to Brazil!
please!!! 💕
please come to New Zealand
Wish I had KEXP in Portugal...
so good thanks
they say this is their best album, but its so hard to beat gorilla manor and hummingbird in my opinion.
yeah this is easily their worst album lol. Still good, just not as great as the others.
duce mx Gorilla Manor will always be a top 5 album for me. To me it sounds like summer the entire way through. While I like the other albums, I don’t feel I could listen through the entire thing over and over like gorilla. Listening to Camera Talk while on a school trip in Italy was amazing.
this album is hot trash
Fax
I’ve been a fan since Gorilla Manor and I would say Violet Street is categorically better.
Damn
I remember the first album like it was a few weeks ago.....geeez
Los Angeles!
18:00 goosebumps
Garden of Elysian 💕💜🎶
They should have more views.
😻INCREDIBLE!!!
Legend
AWESOME❤😎🎸🔥🎶🎵🎶🎵
awesome guys
❤️❤️❤️
I wish they would play Shy live eventually
can't wait for that drum solo
Shy is amazing live! I wish it were on here instead of tap dancer
@@1stargazer12 I search for it on RUclips all the time but no one ever uploads it, yeah I wish it was on here instead of tap dancer too
💚
great stuff
Great side project of David Gueta / Luca Modric in the drums
Did not care for Sunlit Youth, but oh man is Violet Street a good album
It's weird how music touches different people. Sunlit youth is my favorite by them. Omit fountain of youth tho haha
hermosos
Lil' Clash-tribute at 5:07?
that note at 23:00 :O
oh hell yes
Very reminiscent of 10cc. 'I'm Not In Love'.
Kevin Cole hosted this?
This sounds like two different styles of music put together. OutKast could sing the When Am I Gonna Lose You part. Hey Ya! Sorry Ms. Jackson.
beautiful
my man troy took a shower that morning
Careless or Unkind?
The chorus sounds like OutKast or Gnarls Barkley could be singing it.
YeeHaw
Fleetwood Mac reincarnated......
Kind of Midlakey sounds at times?
I guess I can see it with the heavy harmonization and all but Local Natives definitely have a more Southern California sound that lends itself to that summertime listening. I guess the tropic feel didn't translate in Texas, but that's okay too. Midlake's aesthetic would I guess be more of a late autumn, heading into winter; Local Natives have that gleam of spring and summer
They’re awesome! I think it needs a little more drumming tho
I thought it was a woman singing before I saw the video.
Better than sex
Not their best work. When Am I Gonna Lose You is probably the best on the record.
agreed 100%, probably my least favorite LN record
For me it’s easily their best album. Every track is fantastic.
@@RichBurrell Agreed.
Love this band but man this set was kinda sucky
There's such a thing as too much falsetto.
❤️❤️❤️
