That chief steamer is game changing. Unlike the McCullough you can run continuously and when it’s getting low on water just fill it without having to wait for it to cool to open. Just be careful heating APC on plastic doors cause it’ll burn sometimes. Id just use steam on everything lol
Bob, you have got to check out the vacuum extractor attachment for the Chief steamer. If you thought your rig with your shop vac was good now, wait til you try it with steam.
You want it to look more perfectly matte doing a deep cleaning as you are bringing back the oem finish. It looks dry bc your removed everything to remedy this simply apply a conditioner. Ultima makes an amazing easy to use one that can be used for all surfaces. This will darken and add a smooth feel.
You'll love the Chief steamer, had mine 2 years. I run tornador blow gun, tornador max, and steam machine at the same time. My process is chemical via tornador max, detail brush, steam (rinse, flush out cracks and crevices), the tornador blow gun wth towel to dry. I can get around nasty vehicles really fast
That sounds like a lot of fun, I have a Tornador max as well I’m going to have to try that along with it. What was the best soap to add into the Tornador for you and what strength?
@@ChemX I’d honestly just use water or something super mild. The tornador atomizes so finely that the chemicals you use are being breathed in and even get absorbed into your skin.
@ChemX can you use this device with your snake oil? In the colder weather, I can't use my pressure washer at my house. And truck stop washes don't have an interchangeable tip to put foam cannon attachment on. Please help be much appreciated as my semi is dye for another b er application of your snake oil. Love that stuff.
If you open up the ac vents , run the steamer into one vent and it’ll push it all through the others. Or push it into the one under a seat and it’ll run through it all.
I just bought the IK electric pump from your website I can’t wait !!!!! Also I freakin love your heavy duty man it does wonders underneath my lifted truck
youll be fine with the steamer around the knobs and switches. i use it and then hit it with a little air and never have issues. just cant camp around them. have to keep moving.
how would you clean the IK foam pro 12 pump sprayer's main body? would you remove the air connector, the pump/handle, and the air safety valve and then shake the main body with clean water inside? thanks and more power to your channel!
Thanks yeah I’d probably pop the pump off, I have never cleaned the inside other than rinsing it out it stays clean, outside gets dirty tho and I just rinse it off
You should wear a mask when you’re kicking up that junk with the tornador 😵💫 Better yet get the tornador velocity vac I love mine. It’s a tornador combined with a shop vac so you’re vacuuming all that junk at the same time your kicking it up. Plus you won’t have the problem of the dust moving back and forth like you mentioned around 4:24
In my experience the best way to wash engine bay with disconnected battery. First of all if cleaner or water get into electric connectors, fuses, bad wires etc it would not start corrosion because without electricity it is wery slow process, may need years to see some insignificant oxides on open wires, and i think that you wash cars way faster) Second there is non waterproof parts like starter and alternator. My personal method is disconnect battery, use more concentrated cleaner, wery good rinse with low pressure and then blow all water, especially from spark plugs and coils.
As soon as the weather breaks I'll be putting in my second order this time I need some of that awesome sauce, that snake oil smells so good and it sheets water like crazy 🤘🤘🤘
That first compressed air sprayer was gross in that you didn't wear a dust mask or eye protection. Second is why would you not vacuum first instead to draw out as much dirt, dead skin cells and God knows what nasty stuff.
I am def getting that foamer! I would suggest wearing a face mask when using the air blower to blow out the carpet and seats as you can see all the micro debris flying around lot of that is skin, hair partices god knows what else! ...i would not want to be breathing that in. Just sayin.
The battery will run for about an hour of continuous use. Roughly 4 hours to charge. I just bought one without the battery option. I’ll just pump after each panel, or use my air compressor or portable tire inflator. Didn’t want to add anymore weight or cost. This pump sprayer is right around $130. Add the battery option and it’s $250. I wanted something that would foam a vehicle, but also be portable. Electric pressure washer still needs a power source. I take my car to a car wash bay, but the pressure washers are a bit too powerful and the soap mine offers is too harsh. I wash with a 2 bucket method because of that. I’m hoping I can get most of the foam a pressure washer and foam cannon would offer, but all the portability of a pump sprayer for when I’m washing my vehicle not at home.
This is the one I bought here, showed up in literally two days I was mind blown, they seem like great people: chiefsteamer.com/product/chief-steamer-155/
You have some baller equipment, big kid shit. I’m still in the minors & use lil kid shit like the McCulloch it work good for me. Nice set up & garage. Now following
Man you’re gonna chalk out all those plastics by going so hard on the steamer lol chill!! Even my shitty little McCullocch steamer has done damage to the older cars/used trucks
I literally dont do anything special too clean an engine bay. Soak down in apc, scrub, pressure wash, let dry while washing the exterior and wipe it down with dressing at the end. Literally EVERYING in your engine bay wont be hurt by a little bit of apc and some water. It lives in the elements, rain, snow or otherwise.
Man having an electric sprayer that never needs pumped sounds like heaven..
I wonder if it uses more or less chemicals between foam and non foaming?
That chief steamer is game changing. Unlike the McCullough you can run continuously and when it’s getting low on water just fill it without having to wait for it to cool to open. Just be careful heating APC on plastic doors cause it’ll burn sometimes. Id just use steam on everything lol

Oh man I seriously have their web page open right now I’m pulling the trigger on that😁👏💯❌
Dont forget to re grease the hinges. Cleaning them is necessary but they will need more grease or they will creak
There’s def a need to condition after steaming stuff ends up dryyyyy

Yep, I use a simple hack to make my IK Foam Pro 12 Sprayer work automatically by adding a cheap small $40 portable tire inflator.
That has crossed my mind too I want to try that actually
If you open up the ac vents , run the steamer into one vent and it’ll push it all through the others. Or push it into the one under a seat and it’ll run through it all.
as the person that works on the truck, i thank you. thing was filthy under the hood.
I just bought the IK electric pump from your website I can’t wait !!!!! Also I freakin love your heavy duty man it does wonders underneath my lifted truck
Good stuff. Getting pretty close to the plastics with that steamer have you ever melted or faded plastic pieces yet?
youll be fine with the steamer around the knobs and switches. i use it and then hit it with a little air and never have issues. just cant camp around them. have to keep moving.
You can use a drill brush on those floor mats it's quicker.
Is there not a risk for shortcircuit? I always thought that it was risky to spray anything with water over the battery even if it is disconnected.
I used to run a Lincoln a Hobart and a millermatic locker in my car high school days🤣awesome video guys 👍Aloha from Hawaii 🤙🏽😎🌴
Try wrapping a microfiber towel to the end of the steamer. It will help pick up the filth when steam cleaning seats and/or carpets 😉
That’s a bad ass shop/setup. Nice job on the Tacoma 👍
Oh man! It was worth the wait! Awesome work!
Hearing someone say they haven't cleaned the seat covers while I'm over here washing them every week! haha
Man the brush in the drill, gonna have to try that!
pressure washing the electronics of the engine?
You want to use an extractor on the seats and rugs
how would you clean the IK foam pro 12 pump sprayer's main body? would you remove the air connector, the pump/handle, and the air safety valve and then shake the main body with clean water inside? thanks and more power to your channel!

How much for that steamer you put in the trash can?
I’d like to buy it from you if you don’t want it anymore.
Where did you buy the blue brush from minute 5:35 I need new brushes
I couldn’t help but noticed how much I love the wheels on your jeep could you please tell me the name of them, they look awesome.
Hit the door jams with the pressure washer at an angle .
You should run a brush attachment on the steamer instead of just blasting steam, makes such a difference.
Use a waffle weave towel for the windows for clearer results.
Use some 303 interior dressing
Great video. You should do videos / series like this one of washing employees vehicles and getting theire reactions to it
How loud was the compressor? Quiet enough to use early morning and not disturb anyone? Thanks for the video!
Around 80 dB so it is disturbing.
If you receive a rally big box, I have posted my Shogun from the UK. Awesome work guys, you got a new sub!
I would like to see you detail a fire truck with all that diamond plate
Those AC electronics ever going to work again?
Would you recomend it to us ik e pro 12? Since we are new on opening our car wash in the philippines? Thanks some tips and advice? Thanks
Can we talk about the Nissan battery in the Tacoma?
You should wear a mask when you’re kicking up that junk with the tornador 😵💫

Any chance you could talk the fire/ems or PD to let you do one of their rigs?
If you happen to live in Sweden, Finland , Norway and Denmark you can order the iK E Foam Pro 12 Pump Sprayer from Sipomax in Sweden.
Do you have a video on washing semi fuel hauling trucks? I drive them and would love my company to get this set up. Our trucks get dirty.
you already have a pump sprayer? Also, regarding the mobile shelving in this video, where did you buy it? I would LOVE to buy one. Or build on. 5:18
how do u manage water spots, after your done washing
Spray (or foam) your door jambs with your Heavy Duty. Then blow them out with a pressure washer. You’ll be surprised how little water gets inside.
Toyota approved 👌🏻 🙌🏻
Bob, what is the Brand of your Watch? Thanks

I’m thinkin engine off, battery disconnected, I agree strong but minimal amount of soap and I’m gonna try my steamer to rinse on the next round🤔
You never want to leave degreaser on the engine very long before you rinse it off
Bob, is the air compressor available as an add on for existing IK sprayers?
Yes
Awesome. You're like a kid at Christmas buddy
I don't know about steaming the electrical switches.
13:42 Link to buy this brush ?
As soon as the weather breaks I'll be putting in my second order this time I need some of that awesome sauce, that snake oil smells so good and it sheets water like crazy 🤘🤘🤘
hey where can i get the chief steamer ? any links please?? i also do detailing in suriname.
i also use the mccullough.
I grabbed it from his website directly it was chiefsteamer.com, not sure if he ships out that way tho but worth looking I love mine
The best unboxing ever!! Seriously man.. that wasa proper one 🤓
Lol this was fun 😁👏👏
@Chem-X this was very fun for me lol😁
Hi bob, can you do a video using the m12 handheld sprayer
Ohhhhhhh, no foam on that tho?🤔
@@ChemX oh sorry didn’t know that
I want some of your soaps in New Zealand
Im glad you have a mask on, with all that dirt flying around in the air 😅 but anyway gratulation with the Foam Pro 12
You open stuff like a Maniac.
Why did tow a way your old steamer
What did you use on the tires and rims?
Is it the sprayer that creates the foam or the product inside? If it’s the product what is it?
It is the combo
Fun video 👍🏻😎 Till the next one.
I know their sprayers are terrible, but this is good?
That first compressed air sprayer was gross in that you didn't wear a dust mask or eye protection. Second is why would you not vacuum first instead to draw out as much dirt, dead skin cells and God knows what nasty stuff.
Love from India 🇮🇳

How much running time on the spray pump with the battery?
The battery will run for about an hour of continuous use. Roughly 4 hours to charge. I just bought one without the battery option. I’ll just pump after each panel, or use my air compressor or portable tire inflator. Didn’t want to add anymore weight or cost.

Oh! Lol and the steamer is killer for engine compartments ! No need for spraying with water and risking electric or water issues
Did they use the steamer there? They used the foam sprayer, the highpressure water and the Tornado.
So did the radio still work?😂😂 .. Great video
Lol yeah unfortunately I don’t think we gave Seth the excuse to grab a new radio just yet😂🤷♂️
Does the sprayer come in with the battery charger?
The battery charger with its pump is extra, appx the double prize than the sprayer itself.
Badass shop! 👍
Supposed to leave the change behind that’s a detailers tip
You have great content, would be awesome if you got some construction equipment or other machinery in the bay
He already does, check out his older videos....
Bruv I'll have that steamer 😭 I'll put that thing to good use.
Glad that wasn't my truck.
What shoes are you wearing in this video?
Carhartt force sneaker boots😁
Nice work. 👊🏻😎🔨
Thank you!
Steamer Link? Have u?… i looking for it i couldnt find
This is the one I bought here, showed up in literally two days I was mind blown, they seem like great people: chiefsteamer.com/product/chief-steamer-155/
1 year after using steamer on drivers side - looks like a chia pet from all the mildew 😂
You clean one area, then all the dust and dirt goes to the other clean area..🤣🤣
Always always disconnect the car battery!
Good job
Seats are a tad dirty eh?
What is your website called
chem-X.com bud😁💯❌
You have some baller equipment, big kid shit. I’m still in the minors & use lil kid shit like the McCulloch it work good for me. Nice set up & garage. Now following
Make a Milwaukee m18 adapter and I'm in.
Ohhhh🤔
Of course, a $2500 steamer is gonna work better than $150, but most people aint spending a 500+ on a steamer, especially in their garage
Guys eye protection you don’t want to end up getting your eye scraped or worse!
Be a man Ken! Shut up with safety first. You can be safe and not have to wear a bubble wrap suit and glasses.
Man you’re gonna chalk out all those plastics by going so hard on the steamer lol chill!! Even my shitty little McCullocch steamer has done damage to the older cars/used trucks

Woaw 🤩 👏
I clean the inside of my Tacoma once a week and wash it 2 times a month. she is always clean😂
NEVER EVER SPRAY HIGH PRESSURE WATER ONTO YOUR ENGINE, PROBLEMS WILL SHOW UP WEEKS LATER IF NOT INSTANTLY.....
You never said if the radio died or not
It survived
Dirt Bikes are cleaner then the inside of that Tacoma
not then, than
Again you need to watch Mitch the detail geek on proper auto detailing.
I will tack it
Love you suff
Sprayers are made in Spain battery is from china
Yessir iK is pretty nice I gotta say I’ve always had great luck with em too
