This is hands down the best recipe I’ve tried!! Thank you!! Ive been on the hunt for a good recipe for years! I even halved the recipe and they came out perfect! 😍😍
What kind of flour do you use? I think that may be the problem with mine. If I roll them thin they become brittle and hard but if I leave them thicker and smaller than they are soft what is the problem?
I Love flour tortillas,I started making them at age 12 and I never stopped cooking 🧑🍳, I can cook anything but watching your videos I’m learning so much more while managing my weight 🙏♥️
I NEED HELP. Ok so I’ve tried from scratch tortillas. Using oil/lard cause that’s what I was told to so. Anyway, those attempts came out thick(even if I roll them out super flat) hard, ugly and no flavor. So I gave up and bought a prepared flour. Paloma white wings. They come out better but now they taste a bit better, soft but still are thick. Any suggestions why??? Also, the prepared Paloma white wings flour only states to add the flour and warm water🤷🏻♀️ what am I doing wrong??? And also, THEY DONT PUFF UP😭 should I add something else to the prepared flour??
Ok once you told Nelson when he bowed and waved his arms that’s to much, well the hands cupping the face at the sight of tortilla puffing up That’s to much 🤣🤣🤣🤣
☝🏻💁🏻♀️I can get the dough beautiful and the tortilla thin, but NEVER in a circle, ALWAYS shrinks before it gets in the pan, AND mine don't puff up either 😟
I can see using the melted bacon fat after cooking bacon for some yummy breakfast burritos. Not sure buying coconut oil can be justified. Haven't heard of avacado oil.
Send me a dozen tortillas with buttery flavor and make them sick fluffy to Pueblo Colorado Ron Ron FedEx from overnight you make delicious food always a fan of beer for 6 years come on😢😢😂😂😂😂❤❤

Mine came out too dry. Should I add less flour or more liquid of some sort? I live in high elevation with very dry air.
Beautiful tortillas ♡ Lard works too👍

of tortillas?
😋😋
Recipe please ❤️
At what heat should we put the tortilla on?
It should be hot. On electric stove medium high to high. On Gas stove medium to medium high. In my personal experience this has worked great!

Will this work with olive oil?
I haven’t personally tried with oil but have seen it done before. Let us know how they turned out if you decide to try it.

I like both thin and a bit thicker type of tortillas. Depends on what recipe I am using them for.

Same! No matter how many times I do them they never puff up like that 😭 I'm thinking these RUclipsrs add something else lol or I'm just a bad cook 🤣
@@snowchips9596practice practice practice. It’s like making biscuits. Nobody makes really good biscuits, except grandma who made them every Sunday.
Are u letting them rest enough?
I have used coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil or lard in place of the butter with great results.

the tortillas I buy at the store are even easier.
