In the book, Jamie was very weak when she was getting married to Landon. Even though she was in a wheelchair, she chose to walk down the aisle although it was very difficult for her. That’s why it’s called A Walk to Remember.
My favorite part about this movie was that Landon made the conscious effort to change his ways on his own. I feel like oftentimes in our romance movies, one person has to "fix" the other, but that wasn't the case here. Jamie didn't have to drag him around and beg for him to change, Landon took initiative because he was inspired by her.
I feel like this movie made me realize that movies now a days no longer focus on trying to make the viewer restore their faith in humanity… like the reason these movies hit us so hard, is because it makes us believe that people are redeemable, that people can be wholesome and have pure moments.
I’m so happy you watched this it’s in my core 3 tear jerkers . A Walk to Remember, Me Before You and The Fault in Our Stars🤍 honorable mention Five Feet Apart
Also that poem about what true love is is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
I hate to say it but she’s not the sister from Enough. Her name is Paz De La Huerta. She’s the girl that’s drunk and falls over in Lana’s Video Game mv. The sister from Enough is Juliette Lewis.
30:45 I love this line and I think Landon becoming a major part of Jamie’s life can be interpreted different ways. On the one hand, it’s unfair that Jamie is just falling in love with Landon when she only has little time left to Iive. But also, I can’t helping thinking that maybe God brought Landon and Jamie together so that all her wishes come true before she dies. Her #1 wish was to get married in the church that was a special place to her mother. Together with Landon she had the opportunity to make that wish come true. This movie is so sweet and sad. 😭
You reacting to her voice, have always loved her singing Only Hope from this movie. She also sings in the movie Tangled, the Healing song is beautiful and a favourite of mine too 😌 I agree with you about these kind of movies as well, that realness of them, comforting even when emotionally moving
The way I had to lowk mentally prepare myself bc of how sad this is but I loved this reaction, one of my favorites for a comfort movie of mine and I honestly didn’t expect to bawl so much plus the soundtrack is so good😭
If you land wrong in water from a wrong height, it really can be fatal. Jump from a high enough point and the impact can be the equivalent of hitting concrete
One of my all-time favorite movies in my collection-I’m so glad you enjoyed it! It’s such a beautiful story that shows how quickly people can leave a lasting impact on your life. This was Mandy Moore's first major lead role, and she was fantastic, as was Shane West. You should definitely check out The Notebook next.
Yes, Mandy Moore (Jamie) started as a teen pop singer around the same time as Britney and Christina. This movie soundtrack features her, New Radicals, and Switchfoot
This is legit one of my favorite movies I relate to it so much as someone who’s dealing with a sickness this movie really touches me mentally and emotionally their love story is just so good to me idk what it is about me but I adore this movie
That is not the sister (or friend?) from Enough. Juliette Lewis plays the girl from Enough and was a big actress in the 90s . a Walk to Remember came out in 2002. While they do look alike, I bet there’s about a 10 year age difference between the girl in this movie and Juliette Lewis.
This is my all-time favourite movie. It resonates with something I went through earlier in life. I've been in the TV and film industry for years, and when I say that - particularly to people I work with - they just give me this blank look. Like, it's not Pulp Fiction, or Silence of the Lambs, or even a Forrest Gump, or something considered an all-time great. But when just watching a reaction makes me cry, then you know...

When Jamie confirms she doesn’t care what others think about her, it helped me make that decision for myself also! I saw this in theatre when it came out and watched it on VHS scores of times 💔❤️🩹❤️
Yep! This movie came out when I was a sophomore in high school & Mandy Moore was one of the pop girlies of the late 90s and early 2000s along with Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears & Christina Aguilera 🙌 She wasn’t quite as popular as the others but she had several hits - mostly Candy and Crush, from my memory.

Mandy Moore recently played in a great series - This is us. I recommend it wholeheartedly. walk to remember is one of my favorite movies. I also recommend Remember Me.

Because love has no bonds. But that's how I felt about this movie when I first watched it.

It's been years since I watched this movie and you have me bawling. Mandy Moore always had the voice of an angel and is a great actress. Yeah Hollywood doesnt make movies like this anymore
I feel old that you don’t recognize/know who Mandy Moore is😅 she was a pretty popular Y2K teen icon actress/singer and had some bops in the late 90s/early 2000s! They have an even more positive vibe that I know you’d appreciate. It’s a Wonderful Life would be a great one to watch for the holiday season if you haven’t seen it already. You’d love it guaranteed!
This is an amazing movie and was a great one. But the book is even better, the movie captures it beautifully but has so much more. My favorite book! If you want another recommendation to watch… see Me Before You!
I saw this video pop up and my first reaction was, and I quote, "Oh honey......oh honey, why would you do that???" Thank you for reacting to this movie! It makes me BAWL my eyes out every time! 😭❤ This was my older brother's favorite movie also, unfortunately he passed away two years ago. This movie makes me think of him and how much I miss him. 🥺❤ Also, I'm not sure if you caught it because I'm still watching the video but the guy that jumped in the beginning hit his head on a huge ass pipe, that's how he injured himself so badly. I know its kind of hard to hear and I didn't catch it at first either when I first watched this but through the choas happening you could faintly hear Landon say, "There's a pipe in here!" I just thought I would tell you since you kept asking what happened. :) Anyways, sorry for the long comment. I just LOVE this movie SO MUCH and it holds such a special place in my heart. 😢❤ Thank you for the reaction! And I can't wait to watch more videos from you! ❤ Have a great day! :)
I heard about that show and I have made it my mission to stay away from it. I heard you cry a lot and I just can’t see myself watching the entire thing, I’m too emotional for that 😫
I'm gonna need you to react to more tear jerkers to validate my experience watching these movies lol. I really appreciate how you dont try to hold back your tears unlike some reactors I watch. Other movies that I hope you can consider watching: - Atonement - The Last Song - The Vow - Me Before You - All the Bright Places - Charlie St. Cloud - The Notebook - Ghost - If I stay - The Best of Me (honestly just Nicholas Sparks)
They don't make movies like this anymore. It's so soft and pure.

I know its kind of hard to hear and I didn't catch it at first either when I first watched this but through the choas happening you could faintly hear Landon say, "There's a pipe in here!"
I just thought I would tell you since you kept asking what happened. :)
Anyways, sorry for the long comment. I just LOVE this movie SO MUCH and it holds such a special place in my heart. 😢❤
Thank you for the reaction! And I can't wait to watch more videos from you! ❤ Have a great day! :)
A show that made me cry hysterically was from scratch on Netflix
I heard about that show and I have made it my mission to stay away from it. I heard you cry a lot and I just can’t see myself watching the entire thing, I’m too emotional for that 😫
21:17 😧 that’s Cuba my friend 😭😭
I'm gonna need you to react to more tear jerkers to validate my experience watching these movies lol. I really appreciate how you dont try to hold back your tears unlike some reactors I watch. Other movies that I hope you can consider watching:
- Atonement
- The Last Song
- The Vow
- Me Before You
- All the Bright Places
- Charlie St. Cloud
- The Notebook
- Ghost
- If I stay
- The Best of Me (honestly just Nicholas Sparks)
