Personally I tell everyone it is not hard but it is so much. As long as you keep up with the work and do every day something, you will succeed

Excited about learning and becoming a doctor, but soo nervous about the difficulty level and whether I can even manage it and not get drowned in work. I literally went into a burn out during A levels and do not want that to happen again ever😪

2.Dont compare yourself to others

5.Learn to manage your money early

10.Create an environment where you and your friend keep each other up.

@@KharmaMedic lots of dissections but I think we learn to ultrasound on live ones in first week! And also lots of handling of all the main species from day 1 :) saving up for an ipad for all the annotations and diagrams to come !
Hey i saw that holiday edition study with me video and honestly so funny when u were discussing what u were studying ( some topic I can't remember lol 😂😂😂) however what I remember is that u got stuck with it trying to explain us and that u looked so adorable when u referred the book and smiled. Sweet.

No curtin
Well the degree is technically their pre med degree now that Curtin has a medical school since 2018 so if your not direct entry from yr12 the degree I’m doing is technically the closet thing and the most successfully degree for entry (degree is called human biology pre-clinical) before Curtin opened a medical school it was called medical science.
It’s referred to as the pre medical degree yet your not definitely getting into medicine like traditional pre med degrees.
Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University... from Peru. Mom of a 5 yo... what else... life is crazy sometimes, came to this country 5 years ago and never thought about my future until I had my daughter... I always wanted to be an engineer but I never had the money nor the maturity to start school until I landed USA... so my advice is for all those future professionals is just do it.

Awesome tips! The only thing I would add is, some professors use questions in textbooks for quizzes and exams. I’ve had a few professors actually set up their classes with the textbook in mind but I definitely wouldn’t buy it until you were absolutely sure!
In those cases, of course it would be useful! ☺️
